It doesn't take me long to find Carson. He's on the outskirts of town in a warehouse. I can feel his magic, and when I neared the warehouse, I could smell his scent.

There were guards surrounding the warehouse, and I could smell blood.

I hope it's not Allison. I can't bear to loose anybody else.

I winced in pain at my vampire bite which is slowly healing.

I know I need a plan, but right now, I just want to go in there and rip Carson's head off.

As I jumped off the tree, I saw somebody moving. I landed on the ground quietly before attacking the person.

We both fell to the ground, and I looked at the person to see that it was Caleb. His eyes widen, and I quickly got off of him.

"What the hell, Caleb?" I asked him as he got up from the ground.

"Grayson said you ran off. I followed your scent here, and the others are on their way," he explained, quietly.

"You need to leave. If Carson knows you are here, he will kill you without a blink of an eye."

"My mate is here. I'm not going anywhere," Caleb argued with a scowl.

Before I could say anything else, we both heard a scream.

Allison's scream.

Caleb took off running towards the warehouse, and I followed in suit, trying to grab him before we are seen.

But it's too late.

The guards noticed us right away, and they raised their guns.

Then fired.

I jumped on top of Caleb, sending us both on the ground behind an abandoned car. We both sat up against the car. Gunshots were being shot, and that's when I noticed a searing pain in my thigh.

I looked down to see dark red blood soak through my pants.

I was shot.

The bullet must have hit me when I jumped on top of Caleb.

And this wasn't any type of bullet. I smell ravine from the wound.

"Shit," Caleb cursed as he noticed my leg.

The guards were closing in, and there was no way I could make it out of here with Caleb with my injured leg.

I took a deep breath before casting an orb spell. The exact same orb spell that Melissa used to protect me from Cassandra.

A clear orb went around us and the car, and Caleb stood up. I heard gunshots still, but it sounded like we were underwater.

"Caleb," I said, catching his attention. "This orb isn't going to hold long. As soon as it goes out, you need to run."

Caleb shook his head,"No way. You are my Luna; my friend, and I'm not going to leave you to die."

"Carson can't kill me until tomorrow night. Once he has me, he'll let Allison go," I tried to convince him. "You, Allison, and everybody else has time to go and get out of town. Time to get away from Carson."

"I'm not leaving you, Brooklyn," he replied with a stern look on his face.

"As your future Luna, I command you to leave me," I ordered as another wave of pain hit me.

Caleb was silent for a moment, and I saw cracking in my orb. It wasn't going to hold for much longer.

"Please, Caleb," I begged him, blinking back tears.

Caleb slowly nodded, and I said,"I need you to promise me something."

"Anything."

"Tell Grayson that I love him, and I will be waiting for him on the other side."

A tear slipped down my cheek, and I quickly wiped it away.

Caleb nodded, and the orb started shaking as bullets continued to hit it.

"I'll cover you," I stated right before the orb fell, breaking like glass.

As I chanted another spell, I stood up, leaning against the car. Then I started hurling fireballs at the bodyguards as Caleb ran.

Then I felt a tiny pinch on my neck. I looked to my left to see Carson standing behind me. He pulled out a needle, and he smirked at me.

"Finally. I knew you would turn yourself in," he stated as the gunshots stopped.

"What did you do?" I asked him as my body grew heavy.

"Let's just say you will be sleeping until tomorrow," Carson said as my body became weaker and weaker.

"Let Allison go," I said between deep breaths.

He tsked as he shook his head. "Then what will I use to keep you in line?"

My eyes widen, and Carson ordered two guards to take me.

"Take her to Dr. Barnes and get her stitched up immediately before she heals," Carson commanded as the two guards each grabbed one of my arms.

"Have a good rest, Brooklyn. You are going to need a lot of energy for tomorrow night," Carson told me, grabbing my chin, roughly. "Everything is going to change, little sister."

And that's the last thing I heard before I fell in blackness.

"Brooklyn!" I heard my name being called.

I cracked my eyes open to see a bright light, making me groan.

"Brooklyn!" A familiar voice exclaimed once more.

Then all the events from the last couple hours hit me, and my eyes widen, taking in my surroundings.

This wasn't the same warehouse.

It wasn't even a warehouse.

It was like a basement of a house.

My hands were tied above me in ropes soaked in ravine which is causing redness around my wrists. My ankles were also tied, and I was in the middle of the room.

I saw the the rope was being held from a hook from the ceiling.

"Brooklyn!" Somebody exclaimed once more.

I looked to see where the voice was coming from, and I saw Allison sitting against the wall. Her hands were chained to the wall, and her head was bleeding.

She had a few bruises on her face as well.

"Allison!" I exclaimed as relief took over me that she was alive. "Where are we?"

Allison shrugged,"I don't know. We were at the warehouse since the night Carson took me, but when he got his hands on you, a guard knocked me out and here we are. I do know that Carson put a spell on the house so you can't use your witch powers."

"Are you okay?"

Allison's eyes filled with tears. "Carson tortured me, trying to get some information on you, but I'll didn't tell him."

"I'm so sorry, Allison. This is all my fault."

She shook her in disbelief,"No. Carson did it not you."

We were both silent for a moment before I said,"Caleb was at the warehouse, but I made him leave when the guards started attacking us. He heard you scream, and he blew our cover to try and rescue you."

Allison gave me a sad smile,"I miss him so much."

I was about to say something else, but I stopped when I heard the door open. Then three sets of footsteps walked down the stairs, and Allison curled herself together.

Carson stepped off the last step along with two guards.

"Good morning, Brooklyn. I hope you slept well," Carson said with a polite tone.

"Where are we, Carson?" I asked him as I struggled against the ropes.

"That doesn't matter. What matter is that I have you and in..." he checked his watch before continuing,"twelve hours, I will be my original self once more."

"So you just came down here to say that little speech?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.

Carson laughed,"That was the first part. Bruce, get her down."

The bigger bodyguard unhooked the rope, making me fall to the ground.

Now is the time to escape.

"And don't even try anything or Allison over here will die," Carson threatened, making me look at Allison who was being held at gun point by the other body guard.

Bruce grabbed the rope that was binding me, and he pulled me off the ground. I hissed in pain as the rope dug into my skin, but Bruce didn't care.

"What are you doing?" I asked Carson.

"Glad you ask. You see, I have been reading up on some ancient tales, and in all I read, it says the exact thing. If I have tribid's blood, I can create tribids from regular humans."

I felt like I was going to pass out.

"But I need blood to test that theory out," Carson finished, making me struggle again sift the guard.

"Take her upstairs, Bruce," Carson commanded before looking at the other guard,"Keep her at gunpoint. Don't kill her unless I say."

The guard nodded, and Allison looked at me with worry in her eyes.

And that was the last thing I saw before going up the stairs.

When we arrived upstairs, it didn't look like a regular house. It looks like nobody moved in.

The only piece of furniture was in the living room, and it was a chair that had leather handcuffs attached to it.

Bruce set me in the chair, and he untied me from the rope. But as soon as my hands were unbound, he put them in the handcuffs.

He did the same thing to my ankles also.

Carson leaned against the wall, watching me like I'm an exotic animal.

"Dr. Barnes!" Carson barked, making a small woman run into the room.

"Yes sir?" She asked, brushing her hair back.

"I need a pint of her blood," Carson ordered, making the woman nod.

"Right away," she replied before scurrying away to find supplies.

"And," Carson added, looking at Bruce,"if she tried to escape at any time, kill Allison."

Bruce nodded, and Carson came closer to me. The closer he gets to me, the more he looks like my father which is scary.

My father was a kind man, and every time I saw him, I felt safe. But with Carson, every time I look at him, I feel scared.

Carson got close to my ear before whispering,"If that stupid mate of yours comes to save you, I will kill him with my bare hands."

All the color from my face drained, and my heart started beating quickly.

Then he pulled away with a satisfied smile. "I have to get set up for tonight. I'll be back soon."

The lady walked back in the room with supplies, and Carson walked out of the door without a second look.

I have to escape before Grayson comes looking for me. I can't bear to loose him. I have to get Allison out of here before she ends up dying because of me.

And I only have a small time period, too.

Moon goddess please be on my side today.
