《His Hybrid Mate | COMPLETED》10.

I woke up to the sound of somebody mumbled to themselves. That person didn't sound like Melissa at all. More like a man.
I cracked my eyes open to see Julian sitting on the coffee table in front of me with a wet rag and a bowl full of water beside him. He was texting somebody on his phone.
"Julian?" I asked, making him snap his eyes to look at me.
"Yeah. How are you feeling? Caleb left a huge bite," Julian said, pointing to my bite.
I looked down to see the bite was now healing, but it still hurt a lot. It was still was black like venom. I looked back up at Julian with confused eyes.
"What are you doing here?" I asked him.
He stood up, walking around the table before sitting in the chair across of me.
"Well, I need answers first off. I followed your scent here which wasn't easy since this house belongs to a witch. I knocked on the door a couple times, and then I looked through the window, and I saw you passed out on the couch. The only reason I found you was because there was blood on the street," Julian explained.
"Thank you," I thanked him.
"You're my Luna. I would die for you," Julian said.
"What happened with Caleb? Is he alright?" I asked him.
He nodded,"Yes. Allison and I got him back to the pack house without a problem. Alpha Alec called all the witches and warlocks in town to help Caleb. I haven't heard anything so I don't know if they turned him back or not."
"You probably want answers, huh?"
He nodded again, and I sat up, wincing in pain. Julian started to get up, but I stopped him.
"I'm fine," I reassured him and he sat back down. "Now what do you want to know?"
"Everything," Julian replied with a firm face.
"Okay, well for starters I'm not human. I'm a hybrid. My mother was the Alpha Jason's daughter, and my father was a vampire. I have a pack back in California. My uncle, Brody, is the Alpha there," I started.

"You are related to Alpha Brody Jones? The Jones family is legendary. I heard stories about his sister, Alyssa Jones," Julian said.
"That was my mother. Her and my father died in a rogue attack when I was fifteen," I told him.
"I'm sorry about your loss, Brooklyn," Julian told me, sincerely.
"Thank you," I told him before continuing,"Everything was quiet for two years until the weekend before I came here. There was a couple of rogues trying to kidnap me. My uncle and my pack saved me, but I was still in danger and so was my pack.
He did what was best and sent me here to live with a family friend, Melissa Wilson. She gave me this perfume thing to cover my scent so you guys wouldn't know that I'm a hybrid."
"So you know that you and Grayson are mates?" Julian asked me.
"Yes," I replied.
"Why didn't you tell us or at least him?" Julian asked, hurt laced in his voice.
"I was scared that the people that were after me would come here and put you guys in danger," I explained.
"But you are our Luna-" Julian started but I cut him off.
"And that's why I did what was best for the pack. Hundreds can die if those people came looking for me here. They are not normal rogues. They had red eyes even when they weren't in wolf form."
"You are right, but it's still wrong that you kept this from us. At least tell Grayson; he's your mate for the love of moon goddess."
"I know, and I will soon. I just need him safe. Julian, you can't tell anybody about me," I said with wide eyes.
"I will keep your secret under one condition," Julian said and I nodded for him to continue. "If Grayson asks me if you are human or not, I'm not lying to him. He is about to become my Alpha."
I nodded,"I understand."
Before he could say anything else, Melissa came bathing into the house with a worried look on her face. Her eyes grew wide when she saw the bite on my arm and Julian.

"What happened? Does he know?" Melissa asked, looking at me.
"Yep. Melissa this is Julian, Julian this is Melissa," I introduced them to each other.
"Hey," Julian said as Melissa waved.
"Back to the point. Brooklyn, we have a problem," Melissa said, looking at me.
"What's wrong?" I asked her.
She licked her lips before saying,"Good news is that Caleb is turned back into a human. Bad news is that he remembers a little bit of the time he was in wolf form, and he said that there was a girl with silver eyes."
My breathing stopped,"Does he know it's me?"
She shook her head,"No, thank goodness, but now Alpha Alec is thinking a hybrid is behind all of this since they are the only ones with silver eyes, but instead of a werewolf and vampire hybrid they think it's a witch and werewolf hybrid."
"Melissa, please tell me that there was nobody in that room with you and the pack," I begged her.
"There was at least ten other warlocks/witches. They already informed everybody around Alpha Alec's pack to stay alert," Melissa said, sitting next to me.
"I know there is not much I can do, but the one thing I can do is keep you updated on any moves Alpha Alec makes," Julian said, looking at both of us.
"But that could get you in serious trouble," I said.
He shrugged,"Again, I would die for my Luna."
"When is Grayson suppose to be Alpha?" I asked Julian suddenly.
"In a month. A blood moon passes once a year so it's tradition to name him Alpha on that day," Julian answered.
At least I have a month to tell Grayson about me.
"I don't think you should wait that long," Melissa said before gaping her mouth."I did it again. I'm sorry, but your thoughts are extremely loud."
Julian looked confused so I said,"Melissa can read thoughts."
"Oh," Julian said before his phone rang.
"Crap, it's Isabelle. I have to take this," Julian said before leaving the room.
Melissa looked at me before saying, causally,"By the way, I met Grayson today. He is extremely handsome. You two would make a beautiful couple."
I blushed at her words as Julian walked back in the living room.
"I have to go. Isabelle said Caleb was asking for me. I told her earlier that I had to do something for my parents," Julian said, skidding his phone in his pocket.
"Thank you, Julian for everything," I thanked him once again.
"No problem, but I am wondering. How come that bite is healing instead of killing you?"
"Well it's the same way if a vampire bit me. It hurts one part of me, but the other part helps me heal it. It's going to be bruised though," I answered him.
He smiled,"Cool. Bye Brooklyn."
"Bye, Julian," I replied before he walked out of the house.
When he was gone, Melissa looked back over at me. "How is your wrist?"
"It's fine," I replied, throwing the blanket off of me.
"Brooklyn, you need to call your uncle. If things get out of control here, you have to leave so you won't die," Melissa told me.
I shook my head,"I can't. I have to find out who is doing this."
"Please just be careful. We don't need the prophecy to be right," Melissa said before covering her mouth.
"What prophecy?" I asked her.
Melissa shook her head,"Nothing. You need to get some rest. The bite must have took a lot of energy out of you."
"Melissa, I'm not a child. What prophecy?" I asked her again.
"I promised your parents," Melissa said.
"Whatever. After school tomorrow, I plan on going into the woods to search for whatever is using dark magic," I said before heading upstairs.
"Brooklyn, wait," Melissa said, but I ignored her.
When I reached my room, I wrapped my wrist in a bandage. Then I laid in my bed, playing with my bracelet.
"I wish y'all were here. I really need to talk to you guys," I said.
Before I knew it, I drifted off to sleep.

The apocalypse happened and it was named- The system’s advent
The world either ended or it began when the system came online. People can now be immortal and the laws of reality are intertwined with what the people of earth know as RPG game systems. All of this and yet it is only the begining. What is in store for humanity when everything they thought was just smoke and mirrors turns out to be as real as they are and far more deadly. One man went back in time because of an event that shouldn't be possible to a place he had forgotten. For him it was a chance at redemption for a life he is ashamed of. It was a chance to make things right with the people he couldn't face before it was too late to say sorry. A changed man will attempt to defy logic that he doesn't even realize exists. He tried to be the dashing rogue and failed, he tried for the overbearing shield bearer and was worse than useless, he tried to be the rightous paladin and not even the dark gods would accept him. The only path left was the 'weakest' of them all. Ok so alot of you probably reading this are people who have read my previous works and I can only say 'thank you for your incredible patience' so much before it gets awkward but for those you who don't know this is my third story and no I haven't dropped the other two it's just that tragedy struck when I was writing them and I haven't been able to get my motivation for them back yet so I'm trying this as essentially a jump start to get back into the fight so to speak. I'm really hopefull that I can pull this story off the way I want it to be but only time will tell so here's to hoping, now let's get this show started.

The London Phantom: A Superhero Webnovel
London is an old city. It has survived floods, fires, plagues and the man-made smog of industry. It has stood firm against the armies of Vikings, Saxons, Normans and the aerial might of the Luftwaffe. It has borne witness to dynsatic feuds, civil wars, military occupation and the sin of regicide. Through all these disasters the city has survived not through force of arms, though its walls were once the envy of the world, but through adapting to the times. Enemies become dependant on the city, and the wealth of the world that flows through it, and so become new allies. If the rulers change, then the city welcomes them with open arms, and open lines of credit. In this way the city seeks to preserve its ancient rights and position of power. Superheroes are a new phenomenon. The first superpowered man walked out of the Nevada desert in 1950, and the world was forever changed. Across the planet, men and women with exceptional abilities made themselves known. At first, they were little more than another source of fear in the era of Mutually Assured Destruction, but over time attitudes changed and the concept of the Superhero was created in the city of Los Angeles. From there the phenomenon spread across the globe; superheroes went from being feared arms of the state to a symbol of hope in these maddening times. Times have changed. Sixty years from the emergence of the first superhero, the City of London stands on a precipice. Two years have passed since the madman Fawkes nearly brought down the United Kingdom and the remnants of the Bow Street Runners, London's premier superhero team, are struggling to keep order in a city that seems on the brink of collapse. London stands on a knife's edge, with criminal organisations that once stuck to the shadows becoming more bold, and ancient powers from myth and legend making themselves known. Alexander Laszewski has recently 'awakened' and has become entirely unremakable, effectively making himself invisible to the world. He must use his newfound power to navigate a city on the edge of collapse. If only he could figure out how to turn it off.

Humans Must Adapt!
Humans Must Adapt is a First Person point of view from the eyes of slightly crazy and totally not a masochist MC. The setting takes place on a copy of earth with a different name. A cataclysmic event causes the native humans to be usurped from their natural place at the top of the food chain. Time has now passed, and the Humans have managed to settle themselves into mediocrity. But this is not enough.Note: I don't plan on including sexual content. The MC won't have an end game goal right from the start. Feedback is welcomed. The MC is a Tamer.
