After the peacemaking with Matthew,everything seems to be going on well. I have tried to ignore Matthew's intriguing statement about our kiss.

I have encountered Brittany bitch twice this week and as usual,she tries to get to me. My Quisha fought my battle for me when she called me 'mama' leaving Brittany flabbbergasted.

I decided to make homemade pizza and fries for dinner to surprise Leon. I didn't know what time Matthew would be home. Martinez dropped the children. After homework,we started on dinner and Matthew too came in. He freshened up and helped slice the potatoes.

There was a knock at the door and he went to get it . He was taking long and then I heard muffled voices as though people were arguing.

I stood up to check what was happening and I froze. Marion was at the door with suitcases.

"You don't want to let me in because of that gold digger?"She screamed.

"Marion I don't have time for this now,just get the hell off my property before I do something I will regret",Mathew seethed.

"Come on baby,I said I was sorry. I wasn't thinking straight. I am back to care for you,for our babies",she said trying to touch Matthew.

"Get your filthy hands off me Marion. Me and MY CHILDREN are fine without you. Just get lost",he yelled clearly frustrated.

I didn't realise the children had followed me until I heard Marion say,"Oohh my babies,come to mummy". Toya and Leon hid behind me.

And Quisha ofcourse wanted to be picked up,"mama up",she squealed not having a care of what was happening.

"You ugly whore,you stole my man and my kids too?. I am going to...",she yelled trying to push her way through the door.

"Enough Marion,you are scaring the kids. Stop with the yelling",I said irritated.

"This is not over ,I will be back",she said as she turned with her bags and left.

Matthew slammed the door with all annoyance.

"Come down Matthew let her not get to you. Lighten up for your children",I told him as I gave his hand a squeeze.

After a few minutes he loosened up and was back to his happy mood. We had dinner but Toya and Leon were not very talkative and I couldn't ask them. I promised I would let them tell me when they felt comfortable.

We cleaned up and got the children ready for bed.

"Daddy,can Josie tuck us in today alone",Toya asked.

" Okay babies. Goodnight I love you",he replied. Not finding his daughter's request heartbreaking.

"So what do you want today,Tv or story",I asked trying to create excitement because that witch had clearly saddened my babies'moods.

"We want to talk,right Leon?",Toya replied.

"Right", leon who was on my lap replied.

"Am all ears babies",I said trying to hide the excitement because they wanted to open up to me. Me Josie. Their nanny. Not even their dad.

"Mommy was not so nice. She was nice when daddy was home",Toya started.

"But when she was angry she would hit and pinch. She would pour cold water on us...",she added.

I couldn't hold my feelings I was angry at Marion,she couldn't treat innocent children like that. These are her children for crying out loud.

"But she would hit Leon more". She continued.

"Whenever he wet the bed which was by mistake at times,she would make him stay in his pee pee the whole day without food until it was time for daddy to get home. She would clean him up.",she added.

"Ooohhh baby,come here. Did daddy know what mummy was doing?", I asked as I held both of them close to me.

"No,mommy said if we told daddy,daddy would hate us and hurt us too. So we kept quiet",she answered.

I had heard enough. I didn't want to hear anymore. I too suffered abuse though it was from my peers but I know how it hurts.

"Did she hurt Quisha too?",I asked. She shook her head positive and I just broke down.

"I promise me and daddy will protect you my babies. Mommy will not hurt you again",I said after some minutes.

"Promise?",Leon asked.

"Cross my heart",I replied kissing his nose.

"Can we sleep with you Josie?",Leon asked.

"Yes,let's go. I carried Quisha and Toya and Leon followed me. I tucked them in. And we slept off.

We all needed to calm ourselves.

I will have to talk to Matthew.
