Lynda P.O.V

I wondered to myself what was wrong with my friend. He wanted to protect his children but he was unknowingly hurting and damaging them.

When i walked to his office to handover a crying quisha,i looked in his eyes and i could see he was tired,stressed and alone.

I suggested he gets a Nanny to relieve him of some duties like washing the kids,making them breakfast,dropping them to school and picking them,babysitting quisha because the office was not a day care and he clearly was not ready to send his child to day care at an early age.

I was snapped out of my thoughts when i heard footsteps walking towards me. "Hey Lynda,you seem so lost in thought,Is everything fine? Everyone today seems so lost in their little worlds." Said Benjamin.

"I am fine,just worried about Matt." I answered walking and taking a seat in my office closely followed by Benjamin. "Have you noticed stressed and distant he looks of late? I suggested he gets a nanny but as sturbbon as he is he wouldn't listen to what i had to say." I continued.

"Yes,i always told him the same thing but he didn't listen to me. Honestly lynda am worried about our friend.If he doesn't get help he will run himself mad." Benjamin said.

"Maybe we should persuade him some more?" I suggested.

"I don't think it will work lynda,she really broke our friend and i don't know how we going to help him build trust in people again." Benjamin said as his eyes looked above me and i could see he was hurt by what happened to his best friend.

"If I ever set my eyes on that woman again,i hope there's someone to refrain me from killing her," he added ,his voice full of anger.

"Calm down,Benji don't get heated up over that good -for -nothing woman. I know we shall never see her again." I said as i tried to soothe Benjamin's anger.

I felt him relax and i knew his anger fit was all gone.

He stood up and went to Matthew's office.

Benjamin P.O.V

After speaking to Lynda,i went to Matt's office to get him out for lunch. I didn't bother knocking,i opened and my eyes went straight to a sleeping Matt. Right in the middle of his opened files.

This was not the Matt i knew years back. The fiercest businessman around. But after what happened one year back,its like I don't know him anymore.

I gently tapped his shoulder and he shot right up grabbing his pen to pretend he was working."I didn't see you there Benji,how long have you been standing there?" He asked trying to rub the sleep off his face.

" Long enough to see sleep,Matt." I told him.

"For how long will keep denying that you need help Matt?. Everything shows you are tired and need rest. Loosen up man,you will kill yourself and not be able to raise the kids you trying to protect.Get a grip on yourself man,i am talking as your friend who wants his friend back".I continued.

" Man,i don't know after what you know who did,i just cannot trust anyone more so when my kids are involved." He answered.

I could see the pain in his eyes. So I decided to liven the mood.

"Fine,that's for you to think about but for now can we please go and get some lunch its past 2:00pm and am starving." I said .

"You are just a foodie," He laughed.

"Atleast that is the Matt i know," i thought sadly.

"Okay let me organize my table and we heard but because if i leave it like this,Lynda will not spare my head," He chuckled.

"Okay,let me get this princess ready to go",I said as i reached for quisha who was now awake and playing in her crib.I picked her and i was hit by a smell which i knew very well was her diaper.

"Matt,..." I said. "I think quisha needs a diaper change".I continued.

Matthew chuckled and said,"Cant you change a diaper for once?. What will you do when you have your own child?".

"Man,am not changing any diaper. Even if i get child,the mum will change him or her." I protested.

Matthew walked over and i handed him quisha." You don't know how those little devils' poop stinks."I mumbled causing Matthew to laugh heartily.

In a few,he was done and we headed out for lunch.
