Will

Mason comes over and slides into bed easily, no hesitation. My heart thumps in my chest because this is the fist time we've slept together since becoming something. Since he said he's mine and I'm his.

I slide into his arms and he lets out a content sigh before he stiffens mumbling.

"I don't want to fuck this up"

I snuggle my head into his arm "you won't"

He doesn't say anything for a moment and then I feel him place a gentle kiss on the top of my head.

"I hope not"

We fall asleep and it's a good night. I don't have to worry about Mason sleeping with other people or cold shouldering me in the morning. I just sleep and relish in the fact that he's with me and mine.

I start to wake up groggily the next morning turning to my clock my eyes widening we're going to be late! Again!

I try to sit up, but Mason's arms tighten around me. I roll my eyes and move to wake him up, but suddenly my door bangs open.

"You're going to be late!"

My body goes ridged as Gage looks around my room oblivious to Masson in my bed.

"Gage fuck off!"

My breath dies my lungs and I stare at Gage unmoving. Why had Mason just drawn attention to himself?! Despite the fact that there's no chance of this being true I hope maybe Gage didn't hear him.

He did.

"What the actual fuck?!"

My jaw snaps shut my teeth clenching together so hard you heard the snap. My entire body begins to tremble and Mason sits up next time moving a hand to my back.

"Baby..breathe"

His words somehow release the hold my anxiety had on me and I suck in a deep breath which quickly turns into rapid short breaths as I start panicking.

Mason swears "shit Will, calm down"

I do my best to focus on his hand moving slowly across my back and the way he's breathing deep slow breaths for me to follow. A couple seconds later I'm breathing normally and Mason nods.

"There you go baby"

My anxiety doesn't stay down for long, Gage makes sure of that bursting out "baby?!"

My face instantly wrinkles into a wince and Mason sighs heavily moving to get up and pull on pants. Gage quickly jumps turning to face the wall.

"This has got to be a bad dream why the hell aren't you wearing pants?! I'm losing my mind oh shit...how many concussions have I had?!"

While Gage counts on his fingers Mason pulls on a shirt and walks toward him putting a hand on his shoulder.

Gage swings around wildly and a gasp fills my throat.

"Give me one good reason I shouldn't deck you right now?"

Mason despite the situation stays calm and runs a frustrated hand through his hair.

"You probably should"

My eyes widen watching Gage and I hiss.

"Mason!"

Gages eyes shift to me for the first time and he shifts his jaw.

"You're fucking kidding right?! Will?!"

He shakes his head barking a humourless laugh.

"You fucked Will?!"

His glare lands on me heavy.

"You fucked Mason?!"

My cheeks heat up instantly and I know I'm incriminating myself for something I haven't even had the pleasure of doing yet! Masons voice slices through the tension between my gaze and Gages glare.

"We haven't fucked."

Gage shifts his jaw once before ripping his glare from me and pinning it on Mason. I've never seen him look at Mason the way he is and I'm worried. I never wanted this. To come between them.

"Why should I believe you? Trust you?"

Masons resolve cracks at that and his fists clench at his sides.

"I'm your best friend"

Gage scoffs "exactly and you went behind my back and are doing what?! Trying to add my brother to your hit list?"

Masons jaw shifts and I'm worried he's going to get angry soon.

"That's not what's going on"

Gage shakes his head as if he doesn't believe a word Mason says.

"Isn't it? You're in his bed!"

Mason watches Gage before sighing.

"I like him"

Gages eyes widen, he hadn't been expecting that.

"You what?!"

His eyes flicker between Mason and I quickly and I try my best to send encouraging looks his way.

Mason opens his mouth to speak again, but suddenly Gage holds up his hand.

"Nah man, enough from you. I want to hear it from Will"

He storms over to me and I teeter on the bed wanting nothing more then to cower away, but this is Gage. My brother. He deserves to know.

"Uh...I.."

I bite my lip "well...I like Mason"

I suck in a breath and don't look in Mason's direction as I mumble "I've always liked Mason"

Mason makes a sound in the back of his throat at that, but I don't look at him. I watch Gage. His face softens just a tad until finally he sighs and turns back to Mason.

"You really like him? No bullshit."

Mason nods steadily "yeah man"

Gage shifts his jaw and is about to say something else when my moms voice interjects.

"What are you boys doing?! You're late!"

I jump off the bed and my mom stops looking at the three of us with confusion and concern.

"Whats going on?"

I bite my lip not knowing what to say while Gage and Mason both shrug.

"Waking Will up"

"Getting Will"

My mom looks sceptical, but nods anyway.

"Okay then, Will honey hurry up I don't know what's gotten into you!"

She hurries back down stairs and Gage mumbles.

"Nothing yet, apparently"

My cheeks flame and I scurry past them to the bathroom to get dressed while Mason laughs loudly.

I get ready quickly and when I come downstairs my dad lets me know that Gage and Mason are already in the car. I rush outside to meet them climbing in the back seat immediately waiting to get a feel for the atmosphere of the car. Surprisingly there didn't seem to be too much tension.

Gage looks back at me and nods "I want to know how long"

I bite my lip "um...a couple weeks"

Gage shifts his jaw and a look of slight disappointment crosses his face.

"Weeks?"

I nod slowly. I won't lie to him.

"It started..an accident"

Gage lifts a brow and I sigh diving into the story do the first night Mason slept in my bed. Piss drunk and unaware of his actions.

Gage makes a face "so your saying this is all my fault?!"

I shrug and mumble "sort of"

Gage scrunches up his face "great. So...to get this straight...or I guess gay"

He pauses waiting for us to laugh at his joke, but after about 15 seconds of silence all he gets is a sarcastic "ha ha" from Mason.

Gage rolls his eyes mumbling something about us having no sense of humour, but none the less continues what he was saying.

"When you went to Kade's the other night you were really going to Mason's?"

I bite my lip feeling awkward and a little embarrassed about the other night at Kades.

"Um..no"

Gage looks confused and Mason sighs he doesn't look happy about being reminded of my visit with Kade.

I swallow "before...it was only sleeping"

Gage shakes his head "it was what?"

Despite him already not hearing me this time my voice is nothing more then a whisper as I admit that I wanted Mason so badly I took only the crumbs he offered me.

Gage makes a face and turns to Mason giving him a hard look.

"You're an asshole you know that?"

Mason doesn't try to deny it, only nodding.

"Yes. I am"

His eyes meet mine in the rear view mirror and and without him saying anything I know what he's offering. A silent apology. I give him a small nod and Gage grunts.

"This is getting too weird for me and besides we're here so you losers get out and we'll talk later. I'm still pissed"

I'm sad to hear that Gage is still upset, but I know I can't expect him to be okay with it right away. Mason is his best friend and admittedly he's already taking it better then expected.

We all get out of the car and Mason turns to face me.

"You okay?"

I nod "..I wasn't...expecting to tell him this soon, but it's probably for the best"

Mason nods "I'm sorry"

I tilt my head "why?"

He sighs "I don't want this to be hard for you"

I give him a small smile "it's okay. I'm fine Gage isn't punching you or yelling at me so it's a win"

Mason's lips tilt up slightly and he leans down kissing the top of my head.

"You idiots going to hurry the Fuck up or what?"

Mason rolls his eyes, but turns around and we follow Gage inside.

I have to get my first ever late slip to go to class and my anxiety about walking in with a late slip, being that kind of student has me rattling.

Gage of course rolls his eyes "oh chill out Will it's a late slip you'll be fine"

Mason nods "I've had I don't know..Gage how many would you say?"

Gage laughs "too many to count!"

There comments don't ease my nerves, but I force a smile anyway and head to my class.

Thankfully my late slip was slipping dropped into the recycling and I was able to rush to my desk immediately taking out my notebook and beginning to copy notes.

Towards the end of class we get a bit of free time and I decide to check my phone for the first time this morning. My eyes widening and a gasp escaping me the second I see Jenna's texts.

Immediately my heart sinks and I start furiously typing a response.

I hit send just as the bell rings and jump from my seat rushing to leave the room unlike usual when I wait for the room to clear. As soon as I see Jenna at her locker I run over.

"Jenna!"

She turns around and her eyes narrow.

"What the hell Will?!"

I wince and rub the back of mg neck anxiously

"I..we need to talk"

She nods "you think?"

I jerk my head down the hall.

"Jenna. I love you and you're my best friend so just this once I will skip class to make it up to you"

She looks surprised by this "wow someone's feeling rebellious today. Coming in late and skipping?"

My stomach rolls when she says it and my face must show it because her laughing stops and she rolls her eyes.

"I'm still pissed, but only because I love you I'll agree to wait until lunch, but you better tell me everything"

I nod eagerly "I will Jenna I promise!"

After class Jenna and I get our lunches and head to the bleachers. Thankfully the weather is nice and we're able to go outside so I can give her the whole rundown of my morning and previous day.

"So what happened? Mason released I'm assuming?"

I nod and swallow clearing my throat.

"Mason agreed to be exclusive"

Jenna's eyes grow huge and she shakes her head

"no way?!"

I smile sheepishly "yes way, but then this morning Gage barged into my room and he saw..."

Her eyes fell me she already knows, but I mumble "Mason and I" anyway just loud enough for her to squeak with excitement.

"Oh my gosh! What happened did they fight?"

I open my mouth to speak, but Gages voice floats to us.

"No we didn't fight we're civilized men"

Jenna grimaces "Really?! I would have knocked him out if Will was my brother"

Gage rolls his eyes "I'm just less savage then you Jenna"

Jenna fake pouts "rude...so what are you even doing here?"

Gage sighs dramatically dropping onto the bleacher next to Jenna.

"We'll Mason just kept going on and on whiny about needing to see his boyfriend"

The second the word leaves his lips my eyes widen and I glance quickly at Mason who shifts uncomfortably. We never agreed on boyfriends.

Gage freezes judging our reactions "oh shit what'd I say?"

Mason shrugs and I just bite down on my lip.

Jenna however gets it and slaps his shoulder.

"they're not labelling it yet you ass!"

Gage throws his hands up "how was I supposed to know?! I'm not good at this shit"

Jenna rolls her eyes "clearly"

I shake my head slowly "it's fine"

Mason grunts behind me, but I don't turn to look at him.

Boyfriends. I'm okay with that, but is he?
