Will

Jenna let's herself in, I look up when my door opens and Jenna rushes toward my bed. As she's about to jump on it she pauses mid jump almost falling over.

I laugh "what was that?" She rolls her eyes crossing her arms "don't laugh I just remembered there's man whore on these sheets" I roll my eyes back at her "I washed them yesterday and you won't catch anything don't be over dramatic" she makes a face but makes a show of sitting on the very edge of my bed.

"So is pizza here or..?" Suddenly the door bell rings and Jenna darts out my room. I follow her quickly laughing at her eagerness. She yanks the door open and grins at the pizza guy "wonderful I'm starving!" With just those words she takes the pizza from the guy and walks away with it making me roll my eyes.

I step forward awkwardly "sorry shes uh..a bit eager" he chuckles "it'll be $35.50" I smile sheepishly "uh I have to go get my brother" he lifts a brow "okay?"

I nod and turn around leaving the door open so he doesn't think I'm scamming him and walk to the stairs "Gage! Pizza!" I walk back to the door bouncing on my feet nervously "he's coming" the guy just nods checking his phone.

My anxiety increases 2 minutes later when he puts his phone away looking at me expectantly. I bite my lip stuttering "uh I um" I can feel my cheeks heating and the guy starts to look at me weirdly. Just as I'm about to turn and speed out of this awkward situation I bump into something.

More specifically a chest, a very hard and defined chest. Mason grunts and my eyes widen "oh um" he ignores me and instead reaches over me to hand the guy a $50 bill "here man sorry about the wait" the guy shrugs "all good" I turn away from Mason's chest and grimace awkwardly at the guy before dropping my gaze to my feet.

"I'm uh gonna uh..jenna" I rush away from the two of them cringing at how I couldn't even form a coherent sentence.

I find Jenna in the kitchen with Gage and the others, she takes a bite of her pizza and swallows before nodding at me "what took so long?"

I glare "you took the pizza and ran! I couldn't pay the guy and he probably thought we were trying to steal it!" Jenna's mouth makes an O and she apologizes "I was hungry" I roll my eyes, but Gage jumps up wiping if his hands on his pants "oh shit sorry! He still waiting?!"

I shake my head "no Ma.." Mason steps in the room interrupting me "nah I got it" Gage sighs "shit sorry I'll get you some cash before you leave" Mason rolls his eyes and walks over to the island grabbing a piece of pizza.

I wait until he moves away before getting a piece of my own and moving to stand next to Jenna the rest of the bar stools taken by Austin, Jack, & Gage. The guys make conversation while we eat and I use the time to calm myself down after my awkward experience with the pizza guy.

As the guys finish eating I start to clean up after everyone and Mason curses looking up from his phone "shit I gotta go, Hank needs me home" Gage gets serious for a moment "you good?" Mason just nods "it's fine, I won't be back tonight" he looks at me as he says the last part and I bite my lip. Looking at Jenna slightly who doesn't seem to notice, until she glances at me and it dawns on her.

Mason leaves and Gage heads back downstairs with the guys. Jenna and I decline hanging with them and decide to go upstairs and watch a movie. Jenna picks Now You See Me despite the fact that we've seen it at least 50 times. I turn on the tv and get on my bed looking expectantly at Jenna who rolls her eyes "if I catch something"

I chuckle "calm down at least your not sleeping with him, if anyone catches anything it will be me" she chuckles "you wouldn't even complain, that'd be the closest thing to a sexual encounter you've had with the guy and you'd relish in it" I cringe because even if I want to deny it, she's probably right.

I nod "you want to sleep over tonight? My dad took my mom for date night. We can just drive you to school in the morning" she shrugs "while since your bed buddy won't be here" I roll my eyes, but can't help my cheeks blushing slightly "okay want to head home and grab your stuff after the movie?" She nods "yeah, but let's go now so I don't wake up my parents and that way I can stop and get some snacks!" I chuckle "we just ate" she gives me a look "do you underestimate how much I need to eat in a day?" I shake my head getting up "not at all"

Thankfully Gage doesn't make a big deal about me using his car and if doesn't take Jenna long to get her stuff. We stop at a Walmart on the way back to my house and Jenna immediately leads me to the chip aisle. She puts three bags in the basket before heading to the candy aisle and puts three more bags turning to me "okay and what did you want?" I roll my eyes "your sharing" she smirks "am I?" I just shake my head and lead her to the checkout.

When we get back to my house Jack and Austin have left and Gage let's us know he's going to bed early since he woke up late this morning and has practice in the morning. Which he neglected to tell us before hand so now we're stuck getting up at 6:00am if we want a ride to school. He goes to bed and Jenna and I head up to my room, this time actually sitting down and watching the movie.

Once the movie is over I make sure I put all the snacks away downstairs and head back to my room to go to bed. Jenna complains that I'm boring, but once I remind her we have to be up ridiculously early she agrees we should go to bed.

The next morning is hectic with Jenna and Gage racing for the bathroom. I sneak in there in between the two of them and I'm thankfully able to brush my teeth and swipe on some deodorant before we have to go. We get in the car and it's clear no one is in the best mood, Gage however promised to stop for coffee.

On the way I realize we haven't turned the right way for Mason's house and look at Gage "are we not picking up Mason?" He shakes his head "nah he's driving today" I just nod to not arouse suspicion, wondering what happened last night and why he's not here this morning.

Thankfully there is no line at Starbucks and we get to school on time. The minute I get out of the car I can't help but look for Mason's bike, again wondering what happened last night. Did he sleep at home? Or end up with a girl?

I cringe at the thought leaning back into the car to grab my bag. When I stand back up I hear a low rumbling and Gage nods "Masons here" sure enough Mason's bike pulls into the spot next to ours. He takes his helmet off and steps off his bike swiftly. I can't help the way I stare and a blush graces my cheeks at the thought of anyone noticing.

Jenna of course does and grins mouthing HOT to me. I duck my head looking at my shoes hoping to leave the situation unnoticed but Gage grunts "what the fuck?!" I look up and notice that what I had assumed was a shadow was actually a black eye forming on Mason's face.

Gage glares "I thought you said it was fine" Mason gives Gage a hard look "it is. Piss off your not my fucking mom" my mouth is hanging open slightly and I wince at the thought of how he got his black eye. Mason looks up and his hard gaze lands on me, he shakes his head and walks away.

Gage follows after him looking annoyed and I turn to Jenna who blinks "what was that about?" I shrug "no idea" but in the back of my mind I do have an idea. An idea that looks like the yelling man Mason calls dad.

Jenna and I head to our lockers before going to class and thankfully first period is uneventful no recounts or conversations remotely about Mason and I'm incredibly thankful. However, second period makes up for it.

By second period the news of Mason's black eye has travelled throughout the school and while we're allotted time for peer review on our essays most people choose to instead review the rumours of Mason's black eye.

A few of my favourites include:

-A college girl he slept with lied about having a boyfriend and he came for payback.

-Mason robbed the convenience store near the school and the cashier took a bat to his face.

-Mason is in a gang.

And Jenna's personal favourite; Mason slept with someone's dad and his wife didn't like that.

Jenna laughs as we leave class "damn you have to give them credit for creativity" I shake my head "those were ridiculous a gang? Really? Someone's dad?" Jenna snorts all over again "it's funny" I roll my eyes "your sad" she just chuckles and we head to lunch.

We're only on the bleachers for 15 minutes when Gage comes up "hey" I lift a brow knowing if Gage walked to the bleachers it's because he wants something "hey?" He gives me a smile "do you happen to have the homework for next period?" I roll my eyes I knew it.

I sigh "in my locker yeah" he looks at me smiling and I huff standing and putting my lunch away "you could just do it yourself you know" he chuckles "I could, but why would I when your so much smarter?" I roll my eyes "let's just go get it" I look at Jenna "you coming?" She shrugs "Whatever, I can eat and walk" I chuckle at her priorities and we walk back to my locker.

I unlock my locker and find the homework Gage needs, handing it to him with an annoyed look. He chuckles "you owe me anyway" I lift a brow crossing my arms "for what?" He grins "letting you hangout with my cool friends, remember; the ones you didn't want to be friends with"

I roll my eyes "I never said I didn't want to be friends with them, besides Austin's nice" Gage nods "whatever, and yeah Austin's a cool guy, really friendly" I smile "yeah, is that all?" Gage nods "yup" he pops the p and turns on his heel heading toward the cafeteria no doubt going to copy my answers before class.

Jenna shakes her head "does he do any homework? How does Mrs.Heckle not notice?" I shrug "who knows and it's Gage you really think he does homework?" She chuckles "your right" we head back out to the bleachers to finish eating, but only 15 minutes later have to head inside for class.

Thankfully when Tony gets to class he only grumbles "idiot" as he passes my desk, but isn't as annoying as yesterday. Meaning I didn't have to worry about anyone Gage, Jenna, or Mason trying to jump to my rescue. I hand in my homework and copy notes for the rest of class until Jenna starts talking.

"So we're going to the football game on Friday right?" I lift a brow "what? Yeah we always go, why?" She shrugs "no reason, but Kenny has the night off so I figure if he wants to come and bring Nicole we could all go?" I nod "yeah sure" she smiles "great and Nicole said her brother could come"

That's when I tense "Jenna." She sighs "c'mon Will he's really nice and cute" I keep my focus on my notes "he's also a huge flirt and he makes me uncomfortable" Jenna laughs "your just shy! Even if you don't want to get with him you can be nice" I give her a look "I try! He turns my niceness into something it's not and always manages to embarrass me!" Jenna laughs "do you seriously not want him to come? I'll tell Nicole no" I shake my head knowing despite my complaints Danny isn't that bad.

He's just a lot at once, but in small short doses I could manage. Thankfully class ends shortly after and we head to our lockers grabbing our stuff. Since the guys had practice this morning they don't have one tonight and we can leave right away. Jenna doesn't come over after school because I tell her I plan on napping and that's exactly what I do.
