《The Strings Attached》Chapter 13 - Loni

Shakers is pretty packed tonight. Luckily I'm able to snag a two-person hightop table and order a couple of beers.
By the time the drinks arrive, so does Marcus. Thank the lord he looks just like his pictures. His skin is deeply tanned like he just spend the week at the beach. Dirty blonde hair lays messily on his head, flopping over his brows that hover over amazingly blue eyes. Like holy fuck they look like crystal balls.
He's absolutely gorgeous. I'm drooling.
Shit. No. Get it together, Loni. Self-control.
"Hi," I greet him, standing from my chair as he approaches the table.
What do I do? Shake his hand? I've never had a planned one-night stand before. I've never had a random spur-of-the-moment one-night stand either.
Marcus doesn't let my mind linger on that question because he pulls me into a quick, friendly hug.
We both sit down and I instantly take a large swig of beer. "So, have you been here before?" I ask after swallowing.
"Yeah. Practically every weekend. It's nice that it's so close to campus."
"So you do go to Bayside?"
He nods and sips his beer.
Maybe I should have gotten a little more information about him while talking on the app. The only thing I knew from this guy before coming here was his first name and that he is incredibly hot. I'll make sure to know a little bit more next time.
"I'm a senior. I'll be graduating next semester."
My phone buzzes on the table and I glance at it. A text from an unknown number pops up on the bright screen.
???: Please. Don't go home with him tonight.
Who the fuck?
My eyes quickly scan the bar but no one is obviously looking at me. I brush off the text and flip my phone over so I can't see the screen. I force a smile.

"Wow, that's awesome," I say, pretty much forgetting what he just told me. But I play along.
"Yeah. I'm a psychology major."
"Wow."
Okay, stop saying wow.
I can't, though. To be honest, I'm not interested in a conversation. I just want to fuck. And I know that sounds vulgar, but it's all I can think about. Especially watching Marcus's pecs stretch through his shirt whenever he takes a breath. Those damn things are about to rip through the fabric.
And don't even get me started on those arms. Muscular, bronzed. I want them wrapped around my body while I ride him.
We drink about two beers, but after my first one, I'm already starting to lighten up a bit and get out of my own head. I actually have a decent conversation with him. Keeping the sex off my mind for just a moment. But, Marcus knows the motive for tonight.
"So," he says when he finishes the last of his beer. "I walked here."
"My car is parked right out front."
"Excellent." He reaches across the table and takes my hand, rubbing his thumb over my skin. "Now, time for the real thing I've been wanting to ask you all night." Leaning over the table, a smirk graces his lips. "Your place? Or mine?"

8 77The Bronze Players of Recreation
The world of Creation has seen a recent explosion of what can only be called an adventurer’s culture over the past few decades. People who were once looked at as nothing more than lower class mercenaries rose to the ranks of heroes and legends as adventuring became recognized as an idealized lifestyle of overcoming hardship and finding triumph. With the establishment of a guild-based government system on the continent of Terramania, adventurers were soon legitimized and adventuring became a phenomenon universally accepted around the world. Redlette had retreated from this world to live on Earth for the remainder of her years, having been born and outcast by the gods of Creation. However, upon meeting a friend that she treasured dearly, she found herself longing for a return to her world—she wanted to experience it properly and go on adventures with someone whom she holds dear. Putting a plan into action, she meets with her friend, an awkward, nerdy boy by the username of Herring who she’d only known through years of playing online games with him, and invites him to go on this fantastic adventure with her. An adventure in another world had always been an impossible dream for Herring, but when he suddenly found himself with the opportunity to embark on one, he knew it wouldn’t be as simple as books and shows made it out to be. Redlette was notorious for rushing into things without thinking them through, and he was flighty and weak. In the games they played together, they rarely grasped victory. They were losers through and through, both in hobby and life. Despite this, though, he takes the leap and sets off with Redlette into the world of Creation. Together they only had one goal: to have fun and go on the adventure of their lives. This time, they’d establish a guild of their own and be free to take on whatever exploits their hearts desired. This is the story of the founding of their guild. Author’s Notes: -My writing style is largely based off of the absurd amount of light novels I’ve read and anime I’ve watched, so it may come off as cartoonish or exaggerative at times. If that isn’t your thing, I’d steer clear of this story.-Not an MMO story.-No numerical stats.-Relatively slow pacing.-Posts are between 2000-5000 words weekly after Chapter 1. 8 196Touching Stories Of The Sahaba (ra) ..
Stories have always been a great and powerful way to Learn, Understand & Motivate our Imaan (Faith). So why not learn and experience some of the Best Stories of Islam to inspire and understand the importance of our lives...One of the ideas that made me compile this book was that Muslim parents while going to bed at night, instead of telling myth and fables to their children, may narrate to them such real and true stories of the golden age of Islam that will create in them an Islamic spirit of love and esteem for sahabah, and thereby improve their Imaan..These stories are taken from various websites, lectures and books and are well researched..These stories are not intended as biographies, but rather to provide a glimpse of the main incidents of each companion's life.
