just got done packing my bag for the 2 week trip that me and my family are going on with my dads best friend.
I haven't seen Archer in 4 years.
He had to move for his job but is finally moving back to South Carolina.
When he left I was only 14.
He wasn't just my dads best friend but mine also.
I had bad anxiety attacks when I was younger and still do to this day, When I was younger Archer was the only person who could help me with my anxiety attacks.
But then one day he was gone.
No goodbye.
Nothing.
There was just a box wrapped up beside my bed when I woke that morning.
I opened it and saw a blanket that had my favorite picture of me and Archer together.
It was the day that my mom and dad got their vows renewed.
He was in and black suit with me holding his hand in my summer dress. We both had big smiles on our faces.
The other thing that was in the box was 2 bottles of his cologne. The same smell that he wore every day and helped me with my anxiety attacks. I sprayed some on my wrist and smelled in his sent.
The last thing in the box was a note.
I still have that note to this day in my safe that I keep in my room.
That day was probably the worse day of my life.
My anxiety got worse and nobody could help me. I stayed in bed for almost 3 weeks barely eating.
Then school started.
I had to get out of bed so I wouldn't get my parents in trouble.
What I found easiest for me was to spray Archers cologne on my wrist and neck so when I close my eyes I could think that he was there and could comfort me when I was getting to nerves.

"Becca" my mom yells from down stairs pulling me out of my thoughts.
"I'm coming give me a minute." I say tugging on the zipper for the bag to zip.
I might have over packed.
Just a little.
Finally I get it to zip and look around the room for my backpack to put my chargers,blanket, and my cologne in. also some snacks and a couple books so I won't get to bored on the trip to the mountains.
I get everything in my backpack and sling it on my back.
I wheel the suit case to the stairs and try to pick it up to carry but it to heavy.
"Dad" I yell not knowing were he is in the house.
"Yeah?" I hear behind me
I jump and turn around to see my dad with his and mom's suitcase.
"Shit" I screech putting a had to my chest.
My dad laughs and looks at my bag with a raised eyebrow.
"How much did you pack?" My dad asks
"The stuff that I need." And then some.
"I need you to carry that down." I say while pointing to my bag.
He nods his head and lifts it up going down the stairs like it weighed nothing.
I roll my eyes and get my dads suitcase because I knew it wasn't going to weigh that much.
We pack everything in the car and wait for Archer to get here.
Oh yeah did I mention that he will be riding with us sitting right beside me for a 6 hour trip.
Also did I mention I am still pissed at him for leaving me.
Yeah this is going to be a fun trip!!!!

I followed his eyes to see a cigarette on the floor. "I'm sorry?" I more like questioned. Was I supposed to apologize for the wasted cigarette which was going to ruin his health? "Thank you" I said when I decided to look at him again. He was already staring at me. He was wearing a black suit. His hair was perfectly fixed. I wonder how would he look if his hair was messy and he was wearing a Jean. Noticing that he was not going to say anything else, I stared at the stairs. "I'm going to go" I simply said and walked down the stairs carefully. When I was on the grass, I gently lifted my dress so that it wouldn't be ruined and walked bare feet on the grass. I turned my head slightly to look at the man, who seemed to be observing me. He was still on the stairs, his eyes on me. He was model worthy. He did seem to the snobby type of man. I quickly turned around to face the woods. That man could take the breath away just by his looks.
