There are a couple of things I'd like to address;

Honestly speaking, it was not my intention, I just couldn't find a pet name that I feel would fit him, so I just left it as 'husband' thinking that I would come up with something, obviously, I couldn't. 'Baby' is definitely a no, I think he would feel offensive if Kate called him 'baby'. 'Honey' doesn't exist in Tzar, and 'darling' somehow just doesn't sound right. So 'husband' got stuck with me. I was thinking of NOT posting this story because of this, deep down inside I cringe every time I read Kate calling him 'husband'.

I realized how Kate was pushy and in the border of desperate, but truthfully I feel like she was, she was desperate for a new beginning, she was desperate to finally having somebody to share her life with, and she was desperate to have her idea of happily ever after with somebody of her choosing. I know there will be people who get irked by this and trust me, I was debating with myself whether I should change her character or not. In the end, I didn't, as much as I feel like this is her ugly side, it was what makes her, her. I didn't want to write Kate as perfect, I want you to pity her, hate her, love her, can't stand her, and want to be friends with her throughout the story.

Well... I have a wild imagination. I always have trouble falling asleep. My mind has to make up a bedtime story for me to fall asleep. From DAI to Tzar, to the aliens' names, three eyes, etc are the products of my mind wandering outside our galaxy every night. BUT the three penises (God did I really write that?) a.k.a pentacles, as some of you referred it, was inspired by another novel, I forgot the title and the author (sorry!) It was about a bunch of girls who got kidnapped by an alien and somehow got stranded in an alien planet, which they needed to place a worm-like parasite in their bodies to survive in that planet's environment. The author described that the natives of that planet has a 🍆 with a spur above it. 🙃🙂🙃🙂 If you know the title please let me know!

No, she hardly ate when they put her inside the hospital and got separated from Zer, everything went even worst when she heard that he would be executed for his crime. Part of her believed he might die and she wished she could follow him there.

Kate was born in eastern Europe but she lost her parents in the war caused by the pandemic. She was raised by her uncle, who was mentally unstable and was trying to get Kate to marry him. Kate was very young but she understood that such a thing was not right so she refused. Her refusal caused her a lot of pain, her uncle kept her chained inside of her room, starved her, and abused her. He tried to break her so she'd accept his proposal. She got away one day and escaped her home country as a refugee. She was then adopted by an old couple, Elizabeth Jones and Matthias Jones. She thought she was free but soon realized the Jones were abusing her differently, she was under a lot of pressure and at one point thinking about suicide, that was when the government announced Tzar's invitation for Pairing Event. Kate registered without a second thought and got selected, her adoptive parents only agreed because they got a considerable amount of money as compensation.

Well, Zer is... not human, I guess I have to draw him if I want to put a picture of him in your mind, but the only thing I can draw is two hills with a sun at one corner of the page. For Kate, I always imagine her as the short-haired, heart-shaped face, green-eyed version of Barbara Palvin.

I wrote ZER because I disagree with most of the alien-themed books in this app. THERE ARE A FEW THAT I ABSOLUTELY LOVE, but the rest I just couldn't connect with the stories. So I wrote one hoping that I can provide a reading experience I was craving.

Although most of you hoping that Zer's ability to control the time will have an impact on her life expectancy, it barely helped Kate with her age. Zer can stop the time for a short period, not prolong it. Please remember, even though he is a powerful being, he is not a God. With the right diet, sufficient amount of exercise (although she hated it), stress-free life (no girls no drama), and an immense amount of love from Zer, she lived a few years more than the average human's life expectancy.
