Calli

I woke up naked and sweaty in Finn's arms.

Which I'm convinced is the perfect way to wake up. I roll over a little to face him and nuzzle into his chest which causes him to stir. I feel his arms tighten around me and a firm kiss pressed to my head.

"Good morning, sweetheart." He says in his gravely morning voice that makes me shudder.

"Are you cold?" He asks as he pulls the blanket tighter around us and I chuckle.

"I think it's impossible to be cold with you wrapped around me like a koala." He chuckles and rolls over on top of me, caging me in with his thick muscled arms.

"We should get ready. We have to meet Alpha and Luna for breakfast." Finn says as he stretches out lazily next to me. I grin and wink at him.

"I have something you can eat for breakfast." His face curves into a sly smile.

And hot damn did he feast on me.

Much later than we had originally planned, we walk up the steps of the Alpha house, as Finn explained it's called, to where Layla was already standing by an open door.

"Calli!" She cries excitedly and wraps me in a tight hug while looking at my neck.

"Holy crap your mark is beautiful." She gasps.

"Is it? I didn't have anything to compare it too." I tell her honestly.

I was amazed that it had healed already. It's a cobalt blue picture of evergreen trees with a full moon just behind them. To humans it would just look like a tattoo, but when Finn touches it tingles erupt through my whole body and my heart swells with love.

"I've never seen one with trees before." Layla says showing me her mark. A crescent moon with stars dotted around it.

"Yours is beautiful too, but I think the meaning behind them is more important." She smiles at me and nods.

"I couldn't agree more." Ian comes up from behind her and wraps his arms around her waist and kisses her cheek.

"Come on in guys. I'm sure you're hungry." He says suggestively wagging his eyebrows at Finn who wraps his arm around my waist and pulls me further into the house while chuckling.

"Oh yeah. We worked up quite an appetite this morning." Finn says and I smack him gently on the chest while Ian roars in laughter.

We sit at a table full of eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, hashbrowns, juices and coffee.

"Oh my gosh this all looks amazing... um, do I call you Luna now?" I ask Layla with a furrowed brow and both she and Ian chuckle.

"No not when it's just the four of us, but we do use our titles out among the pack. We'll use yours too."

"Mine?" I ask.

"You're Beta Female, babe." Finn says proudly, rubbing my back a little and my face twists.

"What's the matter?" Finn asks.

"That's a terrible title. It's like I'm the girl version of you." Finn shrugs.

"Well you kind of are." He says.

"Well why aren't you Beta Male? Why do you get to be just Beta?" I ask him. He ponders this while he fills his plate.

"I have no idea." He says.

"You can be called something else if you'd like." Layla says while Ian shakes way too much salt onto his food.

"I'll think about it." I say while Ian sputters in disgust.

"God damn it Cam!" He screams and stomps into the kitchen with his plate.

"What did he do now?" Layla asks clearly exasperated.

"He put sugar in the salt shaker again! I'm gonna kill him this time I really will." Ian says as he shovels the food from his plate into the garbage while Finn and I try to hide our smiles.

"Well, he is right. You eat way too much salt, honey." Layla says sweetly while trying not to laugh. Ian grunts in response and refills his plate while I grab the shaker.

"What are you doing?" Ian asks as I shake some sugar into my coffee.

"It's a little bitter." Finn howls in laughter and Layla can't stop the tears from flowing. I look over at Finn and the twinkle in his eyes makes my heart patter. He reaches over for my hand and brings it up to place kisses on my knuckles.

"So, how do you like the beta house?" Layla asks and I beam at her.

"I love it. It's beautiful. We may need to add a bedroom or two though." I say and Finn chokes on his bacon while Ian laughs at him.

"How many pups are you having?" Ian asks in disbelief and I shrug.

"Six to ten." I say and Finn stares at me.

"Eight was the max last night." He says while watching me.

"That was before you said you'll never tell me no." I say and Layla's melodious laugh fills the room.

"I bet Titan loves the sound of all those pups." She says still laughing. "Have you met him yet?" She asks. I nod and smile.

"Yes. He's so sweet but he doesn't like my nickname for him. At least that's what Finn says." I say.

"Well, why don't you just ask Titan?" Layla asks and I look at her confused.

"How?" I ask and I look at Finn who is glaring at Layla.

"Finn can give up control to him and let him speak to you without shifting." I gasp and look at Finn before narrowing my eyes.

"Why didn't you tell me that?!" I ask him and he sighs.

"Because I know you'll use your powers for evil." I wave away his concern.

"I want to talk to Titan!" I say firmly. Finn shakes his head and grips the side of the table.

"No, Titan! Don't you da-"

His eyes flick to black and his body relaxes as he looks at me and smiles.

"Mate! Mate it's Titan! You're so pretty." He says dreamily. I giggle and lean towards him.

"There's my sweet boy. Come here and give me kisses." I coo to him and he leans forward to close the distance between us. I kiss him gently on the lips then plant kisses all over his face. He chuckles and the sound is deeper than Finn's, but still rich and warm.

"Titan, baby. Do you not like my special name for you? You don't want to be my socks?" Titan nods vehemently and smiles.

"Mate can call me whatever she likes. I'll be your socks, mate. I love you." I put my hand over my heart and give him an adoring smile.

"Awe, I love you too, Socks." I reach out and cup his cheek and he turns his head to kiss my palm.

"How many pups do you want Titan?" Ian asks with a shit eating grin on his face.

"A HUNDRED!" Titan yells excitedly and we all laugh.

"That's a lot, Socks." I say, smiling at him.

"I give mate as many pups as she wants. We can mate and mate and mate all the time!" He says while bouncing a little in his chair.

"Human wants to talk to mate again." He says as his face falls.

"You better let Finn come back." I sigh. "But I will see you soon." He perks back up and kisses me.

"Mate promise?" I nod.

"I promise." His eyes flicker back to green and Finn looks at me annoyed.

"That was fucking crazy." Ian says shaking his head while Layla nods in agreement.

"What?" I ask.

"Titan is the most ruthless wolf I've ever known and you just reduced him to a puddle of goo." Ian says chuckling.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"In another pack, Finn could probably be an alpha. While my wolf is physically stronger-"

"Hey, I've bested you a few times." Finn chimes in.

"Yeah, a few." Ian smiles and continues. "Titan is fearless and vengeful. One time he ripped the dick and balls off of a rogue clean." I flinch as Finn sits up in his chair.

"You didn't hear the disgusting things he said about Layla. No one talks about my Luna like that. Or my mate. If he had been talking about Calli not only would Titan have ripped off his balls, he would have made him eat them before he killed him." I put my hand on Finn's arm and he kisses my hand again.

"It's sweet how much Titan loves Calli." Layla says.

"Yeah. And I love my Socks too. You can't lie to me anymore. I know he likes it." Finn groans and Ian chuckles while shoving a huge bite of pancake in his mouth.

"You've got a lovesick pup for a wolf." Ian jibes.

"Yeah, don't act like Henry isn't the same with Layla." Finn shoots back.

Layla giggles while Ian stares at Finn.

"It's true. Henry loves nothing more than to roll over and let me pet his belly." She says making me burst into laughter.

"Oh my God, Layla. Now that I gotta see."
