Things haven't been the same since Stefan's death. Stefan was dead but life hadn't stopped, they needed to continue living and they were.

Every single day, Alexander would make sure that he visit Russell who was being tortured everyday.

Every day Russell would plead Alexander to either to kill him or let him go but Alexander didn't bother to listen to him. He did as he pleased.

On learning about Russell being captured by Alexander, Chad Rossi visited Alexander and paid a visit to Russell as well.

Life regained it's normal course after a few days and everything went back to normal for the Blacks.
