All the family were in the hospital. Alexander informed them about the loss, it broke their heart but were thankful that one was still there.

Alexander paced around the room,waiting for Aria to wake up.

He didn't know how to break the heartbreaking news to her. He was getting anxious every single second passing by until Kenzo placed a hand on his shoulder and said, "I've been through what you're feeling right now- losing a child. You can choose not to tell her about it if you want. She won't know about the loss since she didn't know that she was going to have twins."

"No." Alexander refused instantly,"It would be unfair. She should know and I will tell her myself. Tell everyone to keep their mouths shut."

Kenzo nodded, "As you wish brother."

Kenzo went where everyone else were while Alexander stood still. Never in his entire life has he ever felt so weak, so vulnerable- he never used to worry about anyone but things changed and so did he.

"Alexander." Stefan said as he approached him, "I'm sorry for your loss. Did you find the person responsible yet?" Alexander shook his head, "Brent is on it."

"I think it was intentional; i think it was planned." Stefan spoke seriously.

Alexander drifted all his attention to him as soon as he heard the words 'planned' and 'intentional'

"Russell." the name came from his mouth. He clenched his jaw and fist in anger. His nails digging in his skin, "I'll fucking kill him if he's responsible." He swore.

"Do not rush. Aria comes first then Russell." Stefan said calmly before adding, "I believe that I'm also responsible for your situation today."

"You're not at fau--",Alexander tried to speak but was cut off by Stefan, "No, let me speak. If I didn't give you my position, you wouldn't have been here today. When I gave you the title of Emperor, I gave you my enemies as well, unknowingly. If Aria is lying here today, then it's because of me, If Russell is after you today, then it's because of me. There is a reason why I told you to not have any weakness- but I guess, your heart made the decision. I promised myself to not have any weakness either but when I saw your grandmother, I broke my own promise. Her life was taken along with my promise."

"Russell hates me because I killed his brother, it's not your fault but mine." Alexander spoke but again Stefan resonated, "His brother was my enemy. He tried to kill me but you killed him before he could. That's how Russell became enemy with you; because of me."

"She's up." Mike announced before Alexander could say anything to his grandfather. Without wasting a second, he rushed in the room where Aria was. Aria gave him a smile and spoke, "How are you?"

"Are you kidding? You're the one lying in a hospital bed right now,you're the one who met with an accident. I should be asking you this." Alexander said and sat on the chair which was in front of her.

"I've been better." She responded before asking, "How's the baby?"

"Fine... about that, I need to tell you something..."
