"How did this happen?" Stefan sat on the bed beside his grandson.

"We returned from a meeting and then some people attacked me." Alexander responded and turned to the other side.

"And you didn't call for back-up?"his grandfather asked him to which he replied, "I didn't get the time to."

"So Liam sent people to attack you?" Stefan asked to which Alexander nodded, "All because I didn't agree to that so called deal. He's an asshole. I'll kill him as soon as I'm discharged."

Alexander then spoke to everyone except Rosalyn. He acted like she wasn't there. His mother was very fond of Rosalyn but the rest of his family members hated her as they knew how she was.

"Where's the girl who brought me here?" Alexander asked his grandfather who shrugged, "She left."

"Alex, do you know that Aria could be in danger right now? She saw you, she saved you. The man who hit you probably saw her face and without a doubt , he will tell Liam." Alexander's grandfather whispered to him. It was true, Aria was definitely in danger. Alexander was no ordinary businessman.

The Black family was rich, extremely rich. But Alexander was richer than everyone there. They knew he had other ways of getting money because the money he was making from the company, it was normally for the whole family as the company was the family business.

Only his grandfather knew how he gets more money. And it was all thanks to him.

His parents tried to find out what he does, but in vain. He hid everything too well that even for an expert, it was literally impossible for anyone to find out.

"Go find her." Alexander said to Stefan who rolled his eyes, "I'm not stupid. I've already sent some people to keep an eye on her. But I do not trust those people. You need to keep her safe yourself until you've gotten rid of Liam."

Meanwhile

Aria went to another hospital where her adopted father was. Her adopted father, Ben was more important to her than anyone else.

"Where is he?",Aria asked Gerard, her father's doctor.

"Hey Aria. How are you?" Gerard asked with a smile.

"I'm fine Uncle Gerard."

"You look pale, Aria. Have you been eating?" Gerard asked, concerned. Looking at Aria, he could guess that she hasn't been eating well.

Ever since Aria found out about her father's condition, she started worrying a lot and started paying less attention to herself. She hardly eat anything.

"How's my dad?" Aria asked in a faint voice, ignoring Gerard's question.

"You know, we're doing our best. He's a heart patient, his heart is weak. I'm afraid that if we perform an operation now...He won't be able to withstand it."

"you mean you won't be able to save him? You'll let him die?" Aria asked, with tears forming in her eyes.

"He is old Aria. He is weak and if we operate him, he might die on the spot! So no, we won't be able to save him, I'm sorry." Gerard said, "He's in there right now. If you want you can meet him."
