Rosalyn left his office with tears flowing from her eyes. She couldn't stand being embarrassed. She has never been rejected before. The feeling of being rejected was new and intolerable for her.

"Mr Black" A man in his early twenties walked in Alexander's office.

"David." Alexander acknowledged his presence, "What's new?" He asked, raising his head to give his attention to David, his personal assistant.

"You have a meeting with Mr Griffin at the Parker's Restaurant." David replied.

"For what exactly?" Alexander asked, unaware of the meeting.

"He wanted the company to advertise his products. He said that he'll give us half the money he gets from the products. He mentioned that it's going to be a win-win situation." David responded professionally.

"What do you think, David? should I agree?"Alexander asked for his opinion.

"Honestly, I don't know sir. You should go to that meeting and see what else he offers then you take a decision. I'm sure whatever you do, will always be the best for the company." David replied with a smile.

"Alright. What's the restaurant name again?" He asked.

"Parker's Restaurant, one of the best." David replied. The Parker's Restaurant was one of the best restaurant in the country.

"Time?" He asked and glanced at his watch.

"In three minutes. You're going to be ten minutes late."David replied.

"Too bad. Well patience is a virtue and I do really hope that Mr Griffin has it." Alexander said as he stood up and walked towards the door then he left with David.

As soon as he entered the restaurant, all eyes were on him. He ignored them and his eyes traveled around the place.He found a man waving his hands at him and he walked to him. He didn't know how Mr Liam Griffin looked like but he knew that Liam definitely knew how he looked like.

"Mr Black. I'm Liam Griffin, CEO of Griffin Perfumes." Liam said and stood up as soon as he saw Alexander coming to him.

"I suppose I don't need to introduce myself." Alexander spoke as the two shook hands.

"Yes of course.. you don't. By the way, you're fifteen minutes late. I've been waiting, you know?" Liam said as Alexander sat across him with David.

"I'm happy to see that you are a very patient man. And I'm not late, you're early." Alexander said coldly.

"I'm not la—"Alexander cut him off, "Don't argue with me. It's for your own benefit."

"yeah.. sure. Let's eat something first. I'm starving." Liam said and chuckled. Alexander gave him a blank look before turning to David, "Are you hungry David?"

David nodded without hesitation.

"Well then. I can't compete with two, can I?" He asked to which they shook their heads at the same time, "No."

"You can compete with more than a hundred.. sir. Two is nothing." David said and Alexander replied, "Play along for once, David."

"Oh, sorry sir." David apologized.

"May I take your orders, sir?" A waitress came and asked them. The woman was in her late twenties, her hair was blonde and her skin was tanned. She was beautiful.

"Yes please." Liam replied and they all gave their orders to the woman. Before the woman could leave, Liam held her hand and said, "I'd like to have dessert too."

"Sure sir. What would you like?" The woman asked with a smile.

"You, sweetheart. I'd like to have you as dessert."Liam replied with a grin.

"What?" The woman replied, shooting Liam a disgusted look, "I'm gonna pass" she was about to walk away but Liam held her skirt and stood up, pulling her to him.

"Pervert, Playboy...",Alexander was describing Liam's character by what he's seeing, in his head. He was taking mental notes.

"What are you doing? Please leave me alone. I have a boyfriend." The woman said and struggled.

"So what? Cheat on him. People do that every-day in fact, that's what I do." Liam replied and winked at her.

'Stubborn, cheater', Alexander added that to his list, 'Dude can't take a hint'

People were looking at Liam and the waitress. But nobody dared to make a move as they saw Alexander sitting at the man's table. They thought that the man is Alexander's friend so they didn't interfere.

"Sir, he's misbehaving." David said to Alexander who hummed in response, "Well, let's see what happens."

"Sir, I think we should intervene.",David was anxious. He was not liking the was Liam was behaving with the waitress.

"It's alright David. He won't do anything, he's just talking besides we're in public, he wouldn't dare." Alexander replied.

"What the hell is going on here?" a woman's voice came from behind.

The waitress turned her head and saw her part-time boss standing there with a cold look on her face. "Ma'am...I mean Aria, this man is harassing me." The waitress said to Aria, her boss, the daughter of the owner of the Parker's Restaurant.

Aria walked towards Liam and grabbed Claire's arm, pulling her to her and freeing her from Liam's grip

"You okay?",Aria asked her, her voice showing concern.

"Yes, thank you."Claire replied gratefully.

"And you are?" Liam asked and walked towards Aria.

"Someone who's gonna kick your ass if you don't stop your drama right away."Aria replied to Liam before turning to the other waitress, "Make sure she's alright." One of the waitress nodded and took Claire away to give her some water and help her calm down.

"Sassy. I like you already. Besides I didn't do anything wrong, I just asked her for desserts and turns out she was the best one I could find, but now that you're here...you seem better and prettier." Liam replied with a huge grin plastered on his face.

"Look, You're not gonna get your dessert here. So fuck off." Aria replied, glaring at the man before walking away.

Liam was burning with anger but he didn't show it.

Alexander was staring at Aria. Never in his entire life has he ever seen someone as beautiful as Aria. She was the definition of perfect. She was what every guy would want.

Alexander never felt the urge to know someone as he was feeling at that moment but he ignored the feeling. Someone like him could not have someone like her.
