THREE YEARS LATER.

Siara looks in the mirror, feeling nervous and anxious, while her eyes sparkle with excitement. She bites her lips, as she smooths the wrinkles off her gown, her day has to be perfect and so do the pictures. She does not want to look like a clown on her special day.

"Stop biting your lip," Sam says, pinching Siara's arm. "I spent two hours on your make up, and it isn't time for you to ruin it." Sam murmurs as she wears her heels.

Siara rolls her eyes at Sam, giggling when she sees the annoyed look on her best friend's face.

"I am not going to ruin your hard work," Siara says, the smile still on her face. "I'm just so nervous.... I can't believe it's time." Siara adds.

Sam walks behind her friend, the veil in her hand. The annoyance she felt minutes ago long gone.

"Its totally understandable," Sam murmurs as she fixes Siara's veil.

"Today is your wedding day, and it's normal to have chills. You just need to take a deep breathe, cause this ain't a dream. This is now your reality; you are finally going to marry the love of your life, and you are going to spend the rest of your lives together." Sam says as she lays her head on Siara's shoulder, tears of happiness in her eyes.

"You look so beautiful," She compliments, holding her friend close to her. The two look like sisters, and they are. They are sisters from different mothers."You look just like a princess, just like you wished for years ago."

Siara lays her head on top of her friend's head, a smile on her face as she places her hand on top of Sam's.

Sam's words settle in Siara's head, and she realizes that indeed, this is what she wished for. She wished for a loving man, and she got him. She got her Diego.

Siara is lost of words as she stares at her reflection. She looks so beautiful in her off shoulder gown, her face with minimum make up. Her hair is in a fancy bun with beads styled in it. Her feet looking perfect in the four inch white heels, something that she will take off later, together with the gown.

She can not wait to see Diego's reaction when he sees her. She fails to believe that she is going to marry her best friend, her Diego.

Diego left rehab a week after her visit, and he immediately called to meet up with her. The two met up at one of Diego's penthouses where they spent their time cooking dinner, chatting and watching movies. The night ended with Diego asking Siara to be his girlfriend, and she said yes. Siara was shocked, and excited. She went back home with a smile on her face, and her parents being parents, asked her what made her so happy, and she ended up telling them the truth.

Siara's parents wanted to meet Diego, and they invited him to their home a week later. Diego agreed with no hesitation when Siara told him. Diego did not feel scared nor did he feel hesitant; he was going to be in Siara's life and he knew that impressing Siara's parents was a must, and that is what he did. Diego met the two, and even though they acted all tough, he managed to win their hearts at the end of the day.

Siara and Diego dated for two years before he proposed, and Siara almost fainted with excitement. Diego proposed on the same yacht they had their first date on. And Siara said yes, and even though, everyone wanted them to get married that same year, the two decided to wait.

Diego waited for Siara to get her paper. He was her cheerleader when the bar got hard, and he made sure that he stayed up to help her study. He was her support system when she felt like giving up, and that made Siara love him more.

Siara managed to graduate four months ago, and the day that followed the wedding preparations began.

"Siara baby, it's time now," Her parents announce with smiles on their faces, which makes her nod.

Sam leaves her side, squeezing her shoulders as she wishes her luck, leaving the room afterwards.

Sam is the maid of honor and she has to be out there before the wedding begins.

"You look so beautiful," Her father says as he kisses her forehead. "You are all grown up..... I wasn't ready for this," He adds as he gives her a hug, which makes her feel a bit emotional.

Siara has always been a daddy's girl, and she never wants to leave her parents' behind. Her father has always stood by her side and he always believed in her when everyone else booed, he is her first best friend.

"You will make her cry, James" Catherine murmurs as she slaps her husband's arm. "She is still going to be your little girl. She might get married, but she will always be our little baby." Catherine says, giving her daughter a hug.

"I love you," She whispers hugging her daughter. "We both love you so much, and we wish you nothing but joy and blessings in this new chapter you are about to start. Never forget who you are as you start this journey. And don't try to lose yourself in trying to be the perfect wife, no one's perfect and you should never try to be something you aren't." She says, as both her and her husband hug their daughter.

"She's right, my love. Diego has found a gem, and you should never try to be his puppet. If he starts misbehaving, I'm here. Your mother and I will always be by your side, and you should never shy away when you feel troubled." James says.

Siara nods, and her parents bless her and her new journey. The three of them pray before leaving the room.

Siara asked both her parents to walk her down the aisle, and they glady said yes.

The three walk towards the back, smiles on their faces as the music starts.

Everyone stands up as the three get closer to the alter. There is joy in everyone's eyes as they look at the beautiful bride.

Diego has a smile on his face as he stares at his beautiful soon to be wife. He can see the smile that is hidden behind her veil, and it makes him feel emotional. The woman that has helped him become a better version of himself has chosen to be by his side till death.

Diego feels nervous as he slowly walks down the aisle. He can see the seriousness in James and Catherine's eyes, and he knows the two mean business. The two already warned him before the wedding began.

The two have smiles on their faces as they hand their daughter's hand to him. Tears are present in Catherine's eyes as she and her husband let go of Siara.

"Take care of our princess," The two murmur, after kissing their daughter's other hand. "Don't let any pain come to her, because we will deal with you..... We do not play when it comes to our little princess," The two add, which makes Diego nod.

Diego admires the relationship that Siara has with her parents. He wishes his parents were like hers, but that is impossible. The people that helped bring him into the world were monsters, and he knows that he will be different from them both. He has promised to be the best father to his children because he knows the pain and trauma that comes from having monster parents.

The couple walk towards the priest, Diego silently whispering the words I love you to Siara, and she whispers the words back to him.

The priest clears his throat, telling the two to be quiet with his eyes. The priest begins to read the vows, happy to see the happy couple that looks so in love. Everyone in the crowd is happy to see the couple.

Diego and Siara decided to get married in their garden outside their home, a place that has given the two many memories.

Their loved ones are present in the crowd, and they could not be more happy. The two wanted to go very simple which resulted in only having a maid of honor and best man, and that is Hunter and Sam, two people that annoy each other like no man's business.

The priest tells the two to say their vows when he is done, offering them a smile. The two repeat the priest's words, before exchanging their rings. The two did not want to say their own vows because they believe that words alone are not enough to describe their love. They would go on for hours and the crowd would get bored.

"You can now kiss the bride," The priest says, after Diego unveils Siara. A smile coming on Diego's face as he admires his beautiful wife.

Diego does not waste time, he pulls Siara to his body, kissing her like there is no tomorrow. He can hear the cheers in the crowd, with Hunter's whistles as well, but he chooses to not pay attention to them. His focus is on his wife.

Diego separates his lips from his wife's, a smile on his face as he looks into his eyes.

"I love you, Mrs Martino," Diego says with love and admiration present in his eyes.

"And I love you, Mr Martino," Siara replies, blushing as the cheers get louder.

The two stare into each other's eyes, smiling as they choose to ignore the noise. Their love has passed the test, and they cannot be more happier.
