Chapter 87 - The Way Back to the Homestay (2)

Cheng Huan struggled hard but the restraining force only increased as he did so. His suit wrinkled up during the struggle and made him look disheveled.

He spit on the ground viciously.

One of the cops said to in a stern voice, “Pardon us. But you will need to come with us.”

Cheng Huan turned to look at Chi Ying.

Leaning quietly against the tree, she looking nonchalantly at everything that was going on. Her temperament gentle and nice.

“You woman, you,” sneered Cheng Huan in a deep voice through gritted teeth while staring at her with his eyes reddened.

As he said that, there was still desire and reluctance in his eyes, along with intimidation.

That night, Jiang NingNing decided to stay in the same room as Chi Ying. What had just taken place had intimidated her and made her fearful. But she was an optimistic person. Thinking that she has finally had the opportunity to have dinner with Qi Yuan, she was both happy and worried.

After they had arrived at the homestay. Jiang NingNing went back to her own room first and picked up some toiletries and change of clothes. Then, her arm inside of Chi Ying’s affectionately, the two of them walked to the room at the end of the hallway.

Chi Ying placed her room key onto the sensor and then, with a “beep” sound, the lights turned on inside of the room and there was even a hint of scent in the air.

“This is so pretty!” lamented Jiang NingNing as she threw herself against the floor-to-ceiling window. The lush bamboo forest reflected in her eyes and the moon, hanging high up in the sky, painting a thin layer of glow on the ground and everything else on it.

Jiang NingNing showed her dimples as she smiled. “The view from your room is gorgeous.”

The homestay was retro styled. A modern floor-to-ceiling window like this would normally seed out of place. But now that it was at night and the window was almost transparent. It looked like the room was connected to the bamboo forest. The view was serene and one wouldn’t need to worry about mosquitos.

Chi Ying, too, looked outside the window and, for a split second there, she recalled that tall and slender silhouette.

He looked like a lonely ice sculpture when he stood quietly under the moon.

And both his voice and his eyes were like deep oceans.

Chi Ying was a little stunned and there was a slight bitterness in her heart. She responded dryly, “Yeah.”

Jiang NingNing extended her arms as though she was hugging the night scene and said, “Quick, YingYing, take a picture for me.”

Chi Ying smiled and said, “Okay.”

She pulled out her SLR camera and her tripod and attached the large aperture lens. Leaning down, she took dozens of pictures.

Jiang NingNing came over and saw that the pictures were beautiful. Surprised, she said, “Are you a professional photographer?”

“No.” Chi Ying smiled. “Just a hobby.”

Being home with all her free time and money, the original owner had a wide range of hobbies ranging from baking, photography, gardening to embroidery, oil painting, calligraphy. She had tried each and every since docile and quiet hobbies suitable for girls.

Chi Ying even recalled the original owner’s thoughts. The only way to be good enough for him was to become an outstanding person.

Even if he had no idea about it.

Chi Ying turned on the computer inside the room and downloaded the pictures to it. Unfortunately, the computer did not have any photo editing applications.

Jiang NingNing tapped on Chi Ying’s brows there were furrowed together and said to her, “Just send them to me. I can edit them with my own photo editing apps.”

“Alright.”

Then, Jiang NingNing pulled and dragged skillfully, her fingers flying over the screen. Her waist became slenderer and the curvature of her legs even more attractive. Most importantly, the background remained untouched.

For a non-professional like Jiang NingNing, as the picture itself was spectacular, any kind of filter would work.

After messing around with it for a while, she posted the picture onto Weibo and immediately gained a lot of praises from her loyal fans.

She had once been very popular. She didn’t have a lot of fans but they formed their own little circle and were sweet and lovely.
