Chapter 64 - Second Female Lead (1)

Qi HongCheng was drafting the email on the outcome of the audition when Liu Pei asked to meet up with him.

When he heard that, he felt his blood boiling. She had the audacity to ask for a meeting with him?

Unfortunately, Liu Pei had Qi HongCheng wrapped around her little finger. He was like a puppet with no control of his own self as he walked toward the meeting location.

“You are a part of this,” said Qi HongCheng. His heart arched horribly and his fingers shaking. “How you have disappointed me.”

Qi HongCheng drank a lot again.

He did not black out; he just wanted to numb himself with alcohol.

“I felt that Shu Bai is a better person for this role. Chi Ying looks too stunning and doesn’t really fit the image that we want for the second female lead. I will forward you their CVs in a little bit.”

Chi Ying received the call for a second audition quickly.

A second audition for the role of second female lead brought about so many from the upper management was quite intimidating.

She looked over to one side and saw Qi HongCheng sitting the corner expressionlessly.

Shu Bai was the other one there. She stood not too far away and her hands were loosely formed into fists. Her face was pale like paper.

Shu Bai had no idea that Chi Ying had already passed Gu YuanChen’s audition or the deal between Lu JingYan and Qi HongCheng.

But the more confident and relax Chi Ying was, the more terrified and intimidated she was.
