Lu JingYan’s look turned cold instantly and, with a slight frown, he said, “That won’t be necessary.”

His voice, too, was cold. Chi Ying looked up at him again and noticed that he was still looking at her. She wasn’t sure if he ever looked away from her at all. His look was getting colder and colder, as those there was ice in his eyes.

Liao YaYun thought she had said something wrong and broke out a little in cold sweat. In looking back, the only thing she had said was “okay”. It didn’t seem like she had said anything wrong. She felt more relieved, but also felt regret at the same time.
