"I'm in love with Maya" Noah said again, this time he looked up in the direction of where Seb and Jace sat. "I've been in love with her since the first time I laid eyes on her"

"I'm sorry" said Seb standing up. "I don't think I heard that correctly" he looked at me

"I love him too Seb" I said standing up "He makes me feel safe and whole every time we're together"

"Together?" questioned Seb now turning to loom at Noah "You mean to say you've touched my baby sister?"

Seb walked over to Noah and pushed him from the shoulders. Noah stumbled backwards but managed to keep himself standing. Seb left him alone but didn't keep his eyes off him, planning what he was going to do next.

Jace stayed seated with his head down. I wanted him to say something. I wanted to know what he was thinking.

"Mate I told you to stay away" said Seb "She only turned 18 yesterday. How is that okay" Anger was building in his voice. He clearly did not approve of our relationship.

Just then Jace got up from his chair and threw his food on the floor. He walked off kicking the chair as he went. He started to storm up the beach.

"Jace" I yelled starting off in his direction

"Leave him May" said Noah still being stared out by an angry Seb "Give him some time"

Well it could've gone worse right?

We didn't find Jace after that. We stayed at the beach all evening hoping he would come back. The sounds of the waves crashing was all that filled the air. The awkwardness between Seb, Noah and I very noticeable. No one quite knowing what to say. 

"We should go" said Noah standing up and beginning to pack up our supplies. I stood up to help and the pair of us got packing. Seb stayed seating eyeing us suspiciously. 

"I don't like it" said Seb looking at us

"Huh?" I said, not really knowing what he said 

"I don't like it, I don't support it. I am sorry" Seb said, is face still not showing much expression other than anger. "But...." he began and I looked at him willing him to continue "I like you both, and I support you individually. Maybe I could come round to the idea of you two together, but hurt my little sister mate and there will be hell to pay."

Seb finally stood up and helped us pack away. We had mutually and silently decided that nothing more needed to be said. Seb was going to try and support us and I couldn't ask for more from him. Jace was another matter. 

Noah winked at me from where he stood with the chairs. One down, one to go. Though I am not sure Jace was going to be quite so easy.

The morning came around and I woke up in bed with the feeling of light feathery kisses being placed delicately around my collarbone. 

"Morning princess" said Noah as I opened my eyes and saw him sat next to me on the edge of my bed

"Noah!" I sat up startled and confused. We may have told my brothers yesterday but it didn't go THAT well!

"It's okay" he spoke, giving me a kiss on my forehead before standing up and looking down at me. "They are waiting at the table for us. They wan't to talk to you, well us"

Pushing the covers back and swinging past my legs, I walked quickly past Noah so he didn't expect a kiss with my morning breath. I grabbed a pair of trackies off the floor and went quickly to my bathroom to brush my teeth and freshen up. 

"Babe I think you're forgetting something" Noah said smirking at me. He eyed me up and down seductively until I got the idea. 

Oh shit. I guess sleeping in your underwear wasn't so easy to remember after all. I walked over to my drawers and pulled out a top I had stolen from Noah one of the many nights he snuck into my room. 

"That's better" I said 

"No, I preferred the before actually" he winked at me and grabbed me by the hips and pulled me into him. He kissed the top of my head. 'Ready princess?" he asked. 

Here comes the interrogation.

Downstairs was quiet. Eerie even. I knew both Jace and Seb were sat around the table, waiting to break this whole thing between me and Noah up. They were not going to let this continue under their roof, even with Seb sort of accepting it yesterday. This felt to formal and interrogation like to end well. 

"Take a seat May" Seb said when I walked in. I eyed Jace suspiciously, but grateful to see he was all in one piece. I thought maybe he would be so angry after last night he may of caused harm to himself, or worse, someone else. But his knuckles were intact and his eyes fresher than daisys. 

I sat quietly as did Noah, not knowing what to say. They called this meeting, I guess I would just sit and wait to be spoken too. 

"Firstly" began Jace "I don't like the fact you two sneaked around behind our backs, in OUR house" he continued motioning between him and Seb 

"We didn't.." I began 

"Save it Maya" said Seb "Noah filled us in, he told us it was him that initiated things and asked you to go out with him. We know its been going on a while so no need to deny that"

My brothers were clearly tense. But it hadn't turned into a screaming match and for that I was grateful. 

"I don't like that you sneaked around behind our backs...." Jace continued "But, I am also sorry that you didn't feel like you could come to us before. Not only do we want to be your big brothers, but we want to be your friends too. I am sorry if we were being too overprotective to make you feel like we weren't"

They were sorry? 

"May" Seb took over from Jace "We are both confused and upset with you both. We told Noah to stay away from you and Maya we told you the same. However, you clearly care for each other, I keep wondering why neither of us saw the signs earlier" 

Noah remained still in his seat but gave me silent reassurance from where he sat. 

"We aren't going to pretend that we are okay with this guys. It's going to take some time. You need to accept that"

It sounded like they may be giving us a chance. A small smile escaped my lips and I looked at my brothers impatiently waiting for one to continue. 

"But we have both agreed to try" Seb finished 

"BUT" began Jace "She is still our baby sister Noah, no funny business under our roof. You treat her well mate otherwise you can leave" Jace now stared at Noah. His threatening tone made Noah nod his head quickly

"You have my word" Noah stood up unexpectedly and stretched out his hand towards Jace motioning to shake his. 

Jace stood up slightly more hesitantly and did the same and Jace soon followed. 

"Just to make things clear" said Seb "I don't wish to see you two making out" he said walking past me and kissing me on the head. 

I giggled and waited for my brothers to leave the room so I had Noah alone. 

The truth was out and my brothers were willing to accept the idea. I couldn't be happier. Now I could enjoy my time with Noah together more without worrying that they would spoil it.
