"I dare you to kiss whoever you fancy most at this party" Said Ella interrupting me

"Well that's easy" he said standing up and placing his drink down on the floor "There's one girl I wished would notice me more. And she is sat right here" he said as he looked me in the eyes and walked over.

Flynn pulled me up by the hand and smashed his lips right onto mine. I didn't have much time to think. But I did know that this was the worse kiss I had EVER had. I didn't move. Frozen to the spot not willing myself to reciprocate. I knew Noah was watching. I knew my brothers were watching. Hell I am sure everyone was watching as Kai and Joe clearly found it appropriate to make wolf whistles and suggestive noises.

Maybe this would be a good thing. It would throw my brothers off and maybe they wouldn't suspect a thing about Noah and I.

Finally coming to my senses, I pushed Flynn away. Looking over to where my brothers and Noah were sat before I noticed they were no longer there. Instead the only person I could see was Noah. And he was walking over in our direction. His face full of rage and fists clenched.

Oh shit.

"Noah I can explain" I said looking at him and putting my hands out motioning him to stop. "Don't touch him"

"Woah chill out dude, it was a dare" said Flynn noticing walking back in fear whilst Noah kept racing towards him

Noah walked past me ignoring my pleas and pulled Flynn up round the neck by his t-shirt.

"Keep your hands off her little boy. You don't deserve her" he said angrily, face full of rage.

I looked behind me to where Ella and Grace sat. Looking at them desperately not knowing what to do Ella stood up abruptly and ran towards the house. Hopefully looking for my brothers before Noah took it too far.

"Noah listen to me" I said trying to get him to stop "It was a dare alright. He was dared to kiss me"

"Maya stay back" said Noah his tone was angry and harsh. His words felt angry and threatening.

"Noah listen to me, my brothers will be out here in 10 seconds. They can't find out like this. Please Noah, just leave Flynn alone" I said, continuously checking the back door to the house for any sign of Ella and my brothers.

Noah still had hold of Flynn by his t-shirt. Flynns eyes wide with fear, not knowing whether Noah would go any further or not. Noah sighed and dropped Flynn. Flynn backed away slowly towards Joe and Kai.

"Watch it Mate" Noah spat "Next time you won't be so lucky"

Ella appeared out the door with my brothers. Seb saw us first and ran over.

"What's going on here?" he said looking at Flynns now very scared expression, my red cheeks and Noah's rage filled face.

"Flynn was touching Ella inappropriately" said Noah not making eye contact with them, instead choosing to stare out Flynn who had taken his seat round the fire pit again.

"Noah, no he wasn't" I turned to my brothers "It was a game of truth and dare okay" I held up my hands in defence "Noah took it upon himself to play my over protective brother seen as you two weren't there" I laughed lightly. Hoping that they would see the fun it in and thank Noah for doing their job.

I wasn't really angry with Noah. Sure, he could have been a bit more grown up about it. But from a distance it may have looked like something it wasn't. I've replaced my over protective brothers with an over protective boyfriend.

"Sounds tame compared to some of the shit we did back in our day" said Jace earning a slap over his head from Seb

"As long as you're okay Maya bear" said Seb "Come on mate, leave them too it" He said towards Noah

Noah walked off barely sparing me a glance as he went. Was he angry with me? Did he blame me for Flynn kissing me? I pushed him away as soon as I realised what was happening. I certainly didn't kiss him back. I guess I would have to find Noah later to explain.

"Gosh Jace is SOOOOOOOO dreamy" said Grace pulling me out of my daze

"Shut up you ho" I said jokingly "You can do waaaayyyy better" I laughed grabbing her beer out of her hands and taking a swig

"How about we go and dance instead" said Ella looking towards Grace and I. We both replied yes, eager to get some space from the boys to discuss what happened. I grabbed their hands and led them towards the music table. I needed a drink.

The party was quieting down, my brothers were with some of their friends in the pool. Flynn, Joe and Kai had left soon after the commotion. I was sat with the girls discussing the plan for our first cheer performance next week at the game.

"You're totally going to rock it Maya, don't worry" said Ella.

Her and Grace had quickly become my best friends. After the situation earlier with Noah they had reassured me that I had done nothing wrong and that after Noah had calmed down he would probably apologise for his out burst. I guess this relationship thing was new to the both of us. It was nice knowing he cared about me at least.

"Earth to Maya" Ella said pulling me out of thoughts

"Umm yeah what were you saying?" I said apologetically not really concentrating

"Noah just sat down by the fire pit" said Grace "You should go and talk to him"

I sighed and looked over at him. He was sat by himself beer bottle in hand. Staring at the now dwindling fire.

"I guess I should go" I said standing up "Wish me luck" I gave the girls one last nod and walked over in Noah's direction

"Can I sit?" I asked looking at Noah once I got to him "I think we should talk"

Noah stayed quiet but motioned for me to sit down. I sat by his side, but not too close. My brothers were still outside after all and I was a little mad.

"Look, about earlier.." I started

"Don't" said Noah raising his hand to stop me "I am sorry, I was out of line" he rubbed the back of his head

"It's okay, I am not THAT mad. But you should've listened to me and not just done that without knowing the full story. Look Noah this relationship thing is new to both of us, but you have to trust me!"

"I do trust you" said Noah now looking at me "It's him I don't trust"

"I didn't want him to kiss me, I didn't kiss him back. It's part of the game Noah! Keeping us a secret means he didn't know that he couldn't. He didn't know that I was secretly off limits!"

"But that's the issue isn't it princess" he said "No one knows, you're beautiful and no one knows. What's going to happen the next time someone goes after you? What are you going to tell them?"

"I will tell them NO" I said

"I don't want you to say No" Noah started, slightly raising his voice "I wan't you to say you have a boyfriend that you're crazy about! Look, I am not angry about tonight. I just wish I could treat you like my girlfriend in public. I am upset about not being able to do that"

I slightly giggled finding this quite amusing.

"We need to tell your brothers princess. I don't want to keep this a secret any longer" Noah spoke confidently

"Noah I am not sure that's a good idea" I wanted them to know so I could get on with my relationship and spend proper time with Noah. But the repercussions were unknown. I can't imagine they would be very happy with it at all.

"May, we have too. We don't have a choice. I plan to fall madly, deeply in love with you. And I don't want to wait any longer"

Noah looked at me longingly. Where did this romantic, caring man come from. The Noah I first met when I moved here was a bad ass with no responsibility or respect. I liked this Noah much better.

"Okay"

"Okay?" He questions

"Okay. We will tell them tomorrow" I said reaching over and squeezing his hand in mine.

I was unsure of what tomorrow would bring. Hoping they would approve, but knowing I should probably pack my bags now. Noah should pack too. Hell we should run away now while we got the chance! Wish us luck!
