I dove forward without a second thought, darting straight toward Melascula- the immediate threat. Any Commandments I could weaken or get rid of right now, while I had the element of surprise. I punched through her chest, penetrating three of her hearts, and smashing the other three while I was still there.

I didn't think as I moved forward, focusing on the next nearest Commandment, which was Graylord. He would prove an issue, definitely. I kicked through his chest, penetrating a few of his hearts. He lit up in flame as I realized Estarossa was atop Meli and putting him in a very vulnerable situation. I stood atop Meli's head, positive he would make a pervy comment if he wasn't in such a terrible state.

I roundhouse kicked him and he went flying back, skidding to a halt. I grinned as they all stared at me.

"Ten Commandments!" I boomed, manic grin on my face as I raised my hand up, stepping to the side. Lavender magic surrounded Meli's body, and he stood up straight. He was completely healed. "Your journey to conquer stops here, with The Raven Sin of Despond and the Dragon Sin of Wrath! You no longer hold power in this realm! But if you must fight, then you will die against your own kind."

Melascula fell to the floor, and Derieri fell to her knee, looking stoically down at her chest where she was bleeding out. I grinned down at Meli, who stood next to me, staring up at me. He was out of his demon form.

"(Y/N), what are you doing?!" He hissed, genuinely angry. "This isn't your fi-"

"Yes it is," I interrupted. "And you're stuck here until you or Graylord are dead- you know that. You need me. We may not be able to win, but we can beat them down a few notches." I grinned evilly, "Besides, I couldn't let you have all the fun, now could I?"

He glared up at me, but he quickly realized there was no convincing me otherwise. He sighed, looking forward, activating his demon abilities.

"Human, you have my thanks. You have spared me the effort of killing the wretched woman who dared try to eat my brother's soul," Estarossa said calmly from across the feild.

"Shut the fuck up and get on with it," I rolled my eyes, and his mouth twitched upward.

"Well, then. I suppose this will last longer than I originally presumed," He smiled in response, "I'm sure we will be happy to finally eradicate the traitor of the Tenebris."

I grinned, "You can try."

The battle commenced almost immediately, Derriere shooting toward me, Monspiet by her side. I looked over to Meli, and we nodded. He darted to the side, sword to sword with Zeldris while Gloxina assisted in the attack.

I smiled, dodging the woman's first swipe with ease, "Monspiet! I see you're still Deri's bitch."

"So ill-mannered..." He mumbled quietly, swiping his leg toward me. I leaned and swayed out of the way of both of their attacks, moving backward.

I lashed my whip, wrapping it around the man's waist and throwing him as far backward as I could. I turned to the spiky, orange-haired girl, who seemed totally unbothered. She spread her stand, charging toward me.

"Combo Star."

She rushed toward me and attacked rapidly. I blocked her thrashes with my arms, teeth grit at the pain in my arms. I needed to get out of the way of this attack as quickly as I can- because I won't last as long as Meli did.

How irritating.

I blocked one of her hits, the thirty seventh, then slid under her legs as she swung again. I swung around and kicked her straight in the back. She rolled forward, using the arm made of her markings to stop herself by slamming it into her arm. There was a sudden flash of fire, a huge bird of flames soaring toward me at incredible speeds.

"Purgatory Containment," I said, drawing a square with my hands. A box of fire surrounding my body. It crashed into it, destroying the magic, but the attack being absorbed all the same. I turned to Monspiet, lashing my whip. I thre it upward, throwing it to the floor and kneeling down. My deep purple eyes met his and I grinned, "Hellblaze Ultimatum."

Three columns of fire extended forward, flying at him with incredible speed. He attempted to move out of the way, but they followed him without hesitation. He made a wall of flames in front of him, but while that blocked one of them, the other two slammed into either side of him.

His clothes were singed, and he had surprising injuries all over him. He fell to the floor, glaring up at me. Derriere charged toward me, starting to throw attacks at me.

I didn't give her any chances, attacking back as ferociously as I could. Unfortunately, she was a lot more physically powerful than I was, and even the demonic power lacing my skin and protecting me couldn't shield the pain that seeped through from her blows. I'm sure she wouldn't experience the same if she was at full power, but she was down two hearts, and had been going at Meli beforehand. I have the advantage of fighting for less time. But she was stronger than me, and that always played a part, no matter how hard I beat her down.

Suddenly, the floor below us shook, and I lost my footing. I got hit straight in the chest, skidding back as the platform below us shot up. We were now on a large circular arena. I glared back at Drole, who was using magic to make it.

Unfortunately, my opponents didn't give me a chance to recuperate. Derriere pounced, jumping up. I slid out of the way as she slammed down on the area where I had just been. I leaned back, flipping up on my hand.

"Blaze Storm," I growled, huge fireballs appearing around me and charging at Drole. I was grabbed from behind as soon as they appeared, locked into place by Monspiet. Derriere charged at me, arm reared back in preparation to attack me.

I growled, slipping my leg back and kicking him as hard as I could in the jewels. He groaned, loosening slightly. I threw my arms up, grabbing his shoulders and using them as leeway to flip myself up and over him. I rolled out of behind him as she threw her attack, blowing him back and sending him flying out of the arena.

She turned around, seeming unbothered by having attacked him. She charged at me without hesitation, using Combo Star again. After a few blocked hits, I used my whip and wrapped it around her demonic arm, stopped her attack. I bent all the way backward, rolling backward and kicking her in the stomach, successfully throwing her off the edge of the ring. I dove off after her, feet-first. I shoved my foot downward, kicking her as hard as I could.

"Inferno- Battle Ax."

A huge ax of fire appeared above me. I reached up, grabbing the flames and swinging them down at her. She got hit again, flying even harder into the floor. A huge crater appeared, knocking the pillar Drole had formed over. I grinned, diving to the floor and darting behind it. I kicked the giant arena in the direction of Derriere, it toppling over on top of her.

I panted, holding my forearms where my arms had been beaten down by her. I grit my teeth, pressing my hands against the wounds. I can't heal them. Heaven forbid Meli get hurt again and needed to be healed.

I know I'm strong, but I don't stand a chance against the Commandments on my own. Even with both of us together, our chances of surviving are slim.

At least he can come back.

Suddenly, a huge burn singed into my back. I gasped, being shot forward. I was stopped by the fist of Drole, who had two of his hands intertwined and had slammed me into the floor. I coughed up blood, groaning at the attack. That's what I get for disregarding Monspiet.

"Spears of Rock."

Huge chunks of rock rose from the ground, sharpening at the end and charging toward me. I groaned, darting out of the way and trying to ignore the pain in my abdomen. My body healed at it's normal rate- which was pretty quick. However, broken ribs can only heal so fast, and I definitely had a few.

As I charged forward, I noticed Monspiet waiting for me, throwing a kick at me. I dropped down to my knees, leaning back and sliding under the attack. I did a back handspring, panting heavily as I held my hands up. I was bakc-to-back with Meli now, who was in the same situation I was.

"So..." I said between breaths, "How's it goin'?"

"Gloxina's been out a few times, but he keeps healing. Zeldris is my main issue, he is just an annoyance. You?"

"Derriere's down for the count right now, and Drole isn't doing great. Monspiet is giving me a few problems."

"This might be it," He grumbled.

"Yeah... well, we won't go down without a fight," I growled. "Care to switch dance partners?"

"Monspiet won't leave you alone after what you did to Derriere."

"And Zeldris refuses to leave your side," I chuckled, "Switching one is better than continuing to lose, right?"

"We'll see," He looked back at me and grinned. I winked at him, giving each other a small high five before switching sides.

"Gloxina! Over here, dickwad!" The man looked from Meli to me.

He extended his hand toward me, his spear charging. I rolled out of the way, dodging the spear. The benefit of fighting against Gloxina was he fought the same way that King did, and I trained against him frequently. He relied on the spear- without it, he was as good as dead.

Monspiet made his was over, just as Meli thought, and got back into his combat with me. We went hand to hand, throwing kicks and bursts of fire magic at one another.

Gloxina proved to be just as annoying as he had said, and continued to interrupt me as I fought against the fire demon. He threw out attack after attack using is Basquias, constantly making me dodge out of the way and move. I got very sick of it very quick.

"Inferno- Chains."

Chains of black fire latched onto the wrists and ankles, holding him down. He attempted to get out, but found that it would prove far more difficult than he originally thought it would. I turned to Gloxina, who was staring smugly down at me.

"Spirit Spear Basquis, Form Te-"

"Oh, shut up," I growled, jumping up and slamming my hands down on top of him. His spear moved to defend him, but while it was blocking my hands, I roundhouse kicked him. He shot downward, his spear spinning off to the side.

"Inferno- Battle Ax."

I slammed down the ax onto him once again, and while he formed one his little plant things to protect him, it was burned to a crisp the second it came into contact with the flames. It slammed down on top of him, and his body was burned.

His spear flew down, forming the flower that healed Escanor. A gleaming opportunity presented itself, and I grinned, running forward as quickly as I could. I dove, catching the small drop from the flower on my back. My body rejuvenated the instant it came into contact, my bruising forearms and cracked ribs healing as my exhaustion melted away.

I rolled, jumping into a stand up position. He glared as another drop fell onto his body, healing him. I grinned cockily down at him, "Thanks, doll, I appreciate it."

He growled, summoning his guardian. I looked at it, unimpressed. I watched as Monspiet broke form the chains and that bird formed above him once again. I smiled as it soared toward me, darting away from it as it tracked me. I stood in front of the guardian, it raising its arms in response to my presence. Just before the bird made contact with me, I jumped out of the way, watching in sadistic glee as it crashed into the guardian.

The spear reverted back to its usual form, crashing to the floor. Monspiet caught me off guard, however, kicking me straight in the back and sending me rolling across the floor. I growled as I stopped myself, glaring up at him. There was as bullet rushing toward me as he stared, and I dove out of the way.

Apparently, Derriere was not down for the count.

She went after me with her Combo Star as Gloxina assaulted me with Basquias. I struggled to both block her and dodge the spear's attacks. My forearms were suffering severely, bruised and battered as she began counting her hits out loud.

"44... 45..."

As Basquis raged toward me, I jumped backward, then pushed myself forward and slid under her punch. I kicked up, hitting her directly under the chin. She flew back, , staggering as she steadied herself. She huffed out, shooting at me again. Monspiet followed her lead, so that both of them charged to attack me one on one.

I bit my lip, extending my hand toward Gloxina. "Blaze Storm!"

As the two hand fighters got to me, fireballs shot toward him. It was too many for him to dodge, so while he was dealing with those, I was struggling to deal with Derriere and Monspiet.

Whenever I finally got an attack in, I was forced into the defense. I could handle two of them, because then I could limit it to one at a time or keep one of them away from me. With these three, Gloxina stayed far away and had an extremely powerful weapon. He was constantly barraging me, and with Monspiet and Derriere, I couldn't turn my attention away for a second, because I was dead if I did.

I saw Meli go flying, crashing into the floor behind me. I growled, kneeling down to dodge a hit from both of them. I rose up on my hands, kicking both of them away from me. I flipped to the side, running to the side and jumping on Derriere's back and leaping toward him.

I slid on me knees to his side, looking over him. The both of us were pretty beat up. My eyes flickered to their usual color for a split second. "Meli? Meli, are you okay? Meli? Meliodas!"

When he didn't respond, I felt adrenaline rush into my system, and my heart beat loudly in my ears. "Captain, I need you to answer me!"

He coughed up blood, but still grinned up at me. I could see how much pain he was in. "You never call me captain... why so serious there?"

I felt tears prick in my eyes, "You're an idiot, you scared the shit outta me."

His eyes widened, "Watch out! (Y/N), watch out!"

By the time he had said so, it was too late. I couldn't even react. Derriere was on top of me faster than I knew what was happening. I skid across the floor, holding my arms together in front of my face as she started to beat down on me. My whip lay discarded next to Meli, who was behind my head, as she had tackled me from behind him.

My arms ached and I felt my bones resisting the urge to break from within me. I tried my hardest to escape her grasp, thrashing against her and pushing, using my magic to the best of my ability. She didn't even budge, continuing to beat down on top of me.

"Derriere, I believe that's enough."

The haunting voice of Estarossa came from behind her. She hit me a few more times before stopping and climbing off of me. She joined the rest of the Commadments in a group, staring at Meli and I.

I sat up, shakily reaching up to attack him. He takes a simple step back, dodging out of the way. I landed on my forearms, crying out in pain as I did so. He grabbed me by the neck, picking me up in front of him. I kicked weakly, clutching his hands with my own, scratching at them as hard as I could. I choked out quietly.

"Poor demon," He smiled sadly, "You developed feelings and lost all of your wonderful potential. You could have been one of us- you were next in line."

I growled, spitting at him. "I would... rather see everyone I love... die for eternity... then be a Commandment."

He frowned, wiping the saliva off of his face. "It's a shame, really. I was going to offer you a rather impressive place in our ranks. Traitors are not easily forgiven- you should be honored. It seems, however, your loyalty remains." He smiled sadly, "That is a valuable trait to us demons, for most of our kind severely lacks it. Especially your beloved captain."

"Don't speak about him that way!" I growled, "He is worth more than the entire Demon Race! Especially you and your pathetic Commandments!"

"Hm, it seems your mind is made up," he sighed, dropping me. I cried out in pain, coughing as I clutched my neck. "We cannot afford to have you or Meliodas as enemies. It seems we will have to kill you both. Traitor among traitor."

"Do what you will," I hissed, "You and your team are vulnerable, this battle has shaken you and your members. You will fail in the battle against the Eight Deadly Sins. I hope it is more miserable and shameful than losing the Holy War."

"I'm sorry, young demon," he sighed, seven swords appearing above my torso. I glared up at him, the energy left in me sapped out as my eyes reverted from their deep violet. "You are a traitor, but you would have made a valuable comrade."

"A compliment from you is worse than any insult I could ever receive."

The swords were shoved down into my body. I felt my hearts burst at the contact, the last one only scratching the surface of my final, seventh heart. I felt my consciousness start to slip as blood spilled from my mouth. I still had enough presence to watch him stalk over to Meli.

"Please..." I gurgled through the blood in my throat.

I watched as he stabbed down into Meli's chest one at a time. I started to choke, my vision going black aside from the focus point- them.

I went into this knowing we would probably both die- and I knew he was never really gone. He always came back, no matter how many times he got hurt or killed. I was the one who was going to be gone, but I didn't even care about that.

It never hurt me so much to see someone die.

"Brother, know it's because I love you."

Estarossa spoke before he finally let the seventh one lay into him. I looked up at the sky, tears falling down my cheeks.

The sun was coming up. I could see the ombre of the sky from night to day. It was beautiful, really beautiful. One of the prettiest sunrises I had ever seen. I saw as my vision faded and the sky disappeared. My eyes were still open, tears falling and blood pooling out of my mouth.

That was a good last sight.
