《Greed and Despond (Ban x Sin!Reader)》43

The night had been relatively uneventful. Ban insisted I sleep in the same bed as him, not leaving me alone until I finally caved in. It was nice, being nestled in next to him, I can't lie, and he passed out almost instantly, so I got to enjoy the serenity of the nighttime. He was pressed up against me, pectorals hugged flush against my face. I didn't mind it- in fact, if I'm willing to swallow my pride, I kinda... sorta... maybe... maybe liked it. I didn't get any sleep, though, I just sat there enjoying myself. I don't get sleep too often, so I wasn't that surprised.
The morning came far too soon, in my opinion, as it always did. The sun was too bright and the scenery was too happy. Nighttime is perfect. Daytime sucks ass. It was kind-of nice though. I managed to squirm out of Ban's grasp long enough to close the curtains and let a nice, mid-tone color cover the room. I heard the rest of the Sins when they woke up, but Ban seemed to be about as asleep as a corpse. They all left bustling, chatting happily about finding Merlin. Looks like it would be just me and Ban for a while.
After another, give or take, two hours, Ban stirred. I was almost disappointed, but his greeting to me was enough to make me instantly melt.
His eyes opened groggily, looking down at me snuggling against his muscular form. His deep chuckle is what made me realize he was awake. I looked up at him, a wide grin on my face. It still seemed surreal to me- the fact that I was now in a relationship. And with Ban no less. My heart fluttered at the thought.
"Morning sunshine," he mumbled, voice still hoarse and slightly disoriented from sleep. I smiled at the nickname, my cheeks growing to be a light pink.
"Sup, Daddy," I purred, smiling innocently at him. He chuckled breathlessly, most likely at the dirtiness of the nickname in comparison to my actions. "You sleep good?"
"Like a rock," he mumbled, "How 'bout you?"
"Amazing," I hummed, a small fib as to not worry him. "Plus I got to watch you sleep for a while."

"That's not creepy at all," he smirked, causing me to roll my eyes. I sat up, rolling over so that I was on top of him. My legs straddled his hips and my chest lay against his, only supported by my arms.
"Really? I was hoping to freak you out," I grinned, "Stalker girlfriend 101."
"Wow, you're my girlfriend now?" He questioned, raising a teasing eyebrow. My face erupted in color, and I averted my eyes down to his exposed chest, where I drew shapes only I knew on his pectorals.
"Shut up," I grumbled, not having the metal capacity for anything other than 'Code Red! Code Red! Abort! Abort! Hot guy in vicinity!' to run through my mind, much less anything clever.
"C'mere," he laughed, lazily wrapped my arms around his back and bringing me closer, so that my face was only a few centimeters away from his. Our noses nearly touched at the closeness.
"I think I'm already here," I purred, "But perspective is everything~"
"Asshole," he grumbled, still grinning all the same. He pulled my head closer and pressed a loving kiss against my lips. I melted into it. I hated and loved how I nearly melted to putty in his hands. It was aggravating and amazing all at once. It was literally the most confusing thing ever. I hated it- but also kinda loved it too. See! There is it again!
"That's my name," I muttered, cheeks burning as he pulled away. "Don't wear it out."
He chuckled, then closed his eyes, breathing out a sigh of content. His arms now loosely lay behind his head, his fingers clasping together behind his skull. I looked down at him, admiring his features. His jawline was chiseled, and the sharpness of his features was something to behold. His eyebrows weren't furrowed, contently resting on his forehead above his serenely closed eyes. He looked peaceful. It was cute.
How did I, the unluckiest person I'm Britannia, get so lucky? Maybe the Goddesses were finally giving me a second chance? Maybe he's just that much of a dumbass? That's not too hard to believe... but to like me? Wow...
I don't know, but whatever it is, I really hope it doesn't go away.

I sat up, now sitting comfortably somewhere the sun doesn't often shine and trying desperately not to acknowledge it. I flexed my stomach forward, my arms stretching up and my neck rotating. Several satisfying, and very nice-feeling, cracks echoed from my body, and I let out a sigh of content. I had 'slept' in one of Ban's old shirts that he didn't wear anymore, but still smelled like him, and my underwear. I was too lazy and too weak to change into anything too complex last night.
"You're really pretty, you know that?" Ban hummed, causing me to look down at him with a curiously raised eyebrow. His hands still rest behind his head, but his eyes were now open, trained on me.
"That's because you're getting a hard-on by me sitting here," I purred, smiling suggestively as I pointed an assured finger downward, signaling his 'mini-me'.
"Mhm, definitely," he fired back, hoisting his hips upward ever-so-slightly. I felt my face heat up at the sudden, and entirely impure, gesture. Still, I rolled my eyes, crossing my arms and sticking my tongue out immaturely. After, without missing a beat, he chimed, "What else can you do with that tongue~"
"Drink absurd amounts of alcohol and pray to our lord and savior, can I get an amen?" I spoke seriously, a confident smirk on my lips.
"Aren't you a demon?" He laughed.
"Yeah, I was talking about Satan, duh," I spoke, my tone like that of a dumbed-down, stereotypical athlete's. He chuckled at this. "Speaking of that, I was wondering if I could suck your- ACK!"
My sentence was cut off when I was hit straight in the face with a pillow, the force of the throw so strong that I fell backward. My body bounced at contact with the mattress, momentarily hovering above the bed. I ripped the pillow from my face, a stupid grin on my features as I tried my hardest to sound angry through my giggles.
"Hey!" I laughed, opening my previously closed eyes from my moment of hilarity. Ban hovered above me now, one leg in between mine and the other to my left. His arms were on either side of my head, his bare chest sitting teasingly in my peripheral vision. I smiled wider, the expression directed up at him. He was smiling too, but more deviously as I was. I purred, "You know, that's not very nice."
He leaned down, his lips next to my ear. "Neither is teasing me~"
My breathing hitched as his hot breath made the contact, his teeth just grazing the shell of my ear as his teasing made my blush more horrifically obvious. My face warmed up, reaching a slightly uncomfortable, bright red.
"W-what ever do you mean?" I asked, chuckling awkwardly. Way to set the mood, (y/n). I wonder why you haven't had a boyfriend in 3,920 years. Hmmmm, let's think.
"You're makin' this real hard for me," he purred, putting too much emphasis on 'hard'. I looked up at him, meeting his eyes, imagining how painfully awkward I looked. His crimson orbs shone down at mine, a small, suggestive smile ever-present on his lips. I let out a small breath, then inhaled deeply. Like hell is he going to outwit me.
"I dunno what you mean," I said playfully, reaching up and drawing small shapes on his abdomen. "I just wanted to say g'morning to my boyfriend. Is that so wrong, Daddy?"
I cringed slightly at my usage of the sexual nickname, but he smirked wider at its use, lowering himself so that he was on his forearms.
He pressed his lips against mine in a fiery kiss, and I returned it happily. My fingers moving from his chest and entangling in his pale blue hair as I pulled him closer to me. His tongue invaded my mouth, battling against my own in a war for dominance. It was a close call, but he won, much to my dismay. He roamed around the inside of my cavern, exploring the new territory. He pulled away after what felt like ages, but was probably only thirty of forty seconds at most. A string of saliva connected our lips, dropping down and landing on the neckline of the shirt I was wearing. We both panted lightly, and his smirk made my entire body flare up instantly. His comment didn't help much either.
"You dunno what you just got yourself into, babe~"
