Amaya
I've been in the bridal shop for over two hours trying on dresses. Valerie brought some dresses she made with her for me to try on and see if I liked any of them. Out of the fourteen dresses I've tried on, not a one of them felt like the one.
I sigh as Valerie and Amelia, one of the workers, help me out of the last dress. Amelia hands me a bathrobe and I put it on before sitting down on the stool in the dressing room.
"Did you like that one?" Amelia asked as she has for the last thirteen dresses.
I shake my head. "No."
"Surprising." She mumbles.
I roll my eyes.
I know all she wants is for me to pick a dress so she can go home. It's after eight, the shop was suppose to close two hours ago. She told all of the other workers to go home and she'd stay with us. I can tell she's regretting it now.
"I wanted you to try on all of the other dresses I brought before I showed you this one." Valerie says as she walks into the dressing room with a dress bag in her hand.
When did she leave?
She unzips the bag and pulls the dress out of it. I gasp
It's beautiful.
I pull off the robe and slip on the dress with Valeries help. She zips up the back and I walk in front of the mirror.
The dress has an a-line skirt made of satin fabric with a deep v-neck plunged neckline. The top is covered in beautiful lace which stops at the beginning of the skirt. The fabric is tight around the waist kinda looking like a satin belt and the skirt flows down freely to the ground in satin waves.

"I-I love it."
I see Valerie from the mirror put her hands on my shoulders and smile at me. "You look beautiful."
"I feel beautiful." I tell her. "This is the dress."
Valerie smiles widely at me before turning her head to look at Ameila. "Why don't you wait for us in lobby?"
"Of course, ma'am."
Valerie closes the door behind Ameila and walks back over to me.
"This dress was my latest project." She tells me. "Your friend, Lukas, called me and told me about your dream dress."
"Really?" I asked.
She nods. "Yes, my dear."
I turn around and wrap my arms around her. "Thank you so much."
She laughs and pulls away. "You are so welcome."
She helps me out of the dress and puts it back in the bag before walking out of the dressing room. I put back on my clothes and stand in front of the full body mirror with a thought going through my mind.
I'm really getting married.

I cough as I throw up.
I got to Kane's two hours ago and he left to work on something in his office after he opened the door for me.
I was sitting on the couch watching Netflix when I got really nauseous and my mouth started watering and that let me know, I was about to puke.
I've been in the guest bathroom for the past 15 minutes throwing up. Every time I go to stand up, I feel the need to puke again.
We all went to eat after we left the bridal shop and I think I might've gotten food poisoning because I feel awful.
I flush the toilet and slowly stand up. I close my eyes and try to focus on something else other then how nauseous I feel.

I walk to the sink to rinse my mouth out and my eyes go wide when I see myself.
My hair is all over the place and my skin is sickly pale.
I rinse out my mouth and open up the door. I walk out into the hallway. I close my eyes and put my hand on the wall as I feel myself get dizzy.
"Are you ok, baby girl?" I hear Kane's voice ask.
I shake my head. "No I don't feel good."
I open my eyes as he pulls me into his arms. He kisses my forehead and hisses. "You're burning up."
"I'm cold." I whisper as I wrap my arms around him.
"Let's get you to bed then I'll call the doctor." He tells me.
He picks me up bridal style. I lay my head on his chest and close my eyes.
~~
I wake up to the sound of voices. I open my eyes and see I'm laying on Kane's chest. I snuggle more into his chest which causes him to wrap his arms tighter around me.
I close my eyes.
"How are you feeling, baby?" He whispers in my ear.
"My head hurts." I tell him. I open my eyes to see him looking at me.
He tucks a piece of hair behind my ear. "I'll get you some medicine for it after the doctor leaves."
Doctor?
I turn over and see a man that does not look like a doctor.
"Baby, this is Thomas." Kane tells me. "He's my best friend who also happens to be a doctor."
"It's nice to finally meet you, Amaya." He smiles at me. "I've heard so much about you."
"It's nice to meet you too." I whisper. I pull the comforter up to my shoulders and lean my head on Kane.
"Kane told me you went to eat a few hours ago." He says. "There's a chance you got food poisoning."
I nod. "Yeah, I think so."
"Try not to eat anything besides soup today and get lots of sleep." He tells me. "You should feel better by tomorrow."
"Thank you."
"You're welcome." He smiles at me. "I'll show my way out, Kane."
"Thanks, Thomas."
"No problem, man." He says.
