I watched Seren as she sat on my bed. Her long dark hair was slightly wet, as she had taken a shower almost an hour ago. Her face was bare, not a trace of makeup on it. I always wondered why she bothered with makeup in the first place, though I certainly appreciated her with it on. She didn't need it, though. I liked it better when she was makeup free. I could see the freckles that doted her nose. They weren't like the freckles on her arms, which were so plentiful they looked like a map of the star constellations. The freckles on her face were subtle, they were few.

I wanted to memorize each one of the small brown dots on her body. I wanted to see them all. I wanted to know every inch of her.

"Zane?" She said softly. She was probably wondering why I was just staring at her, though she had to be used to it by now. I just couldn't help myself. She was so beautiful. The most beautiful girl that ever lived, and the most beautiful girl that ever will live. I was sure of it. I was so sure of it, that I would bet money on it. I would bet my life on it.

"Zane." She said again, a small giggle leaving her lips. My eyes followed the sound, and I found myself staring at her lips now.

"Stop staring at me." Seren laughed. She brought her hands to her shoulders, swiftly pushing her hair behind them.

"I can't help it." I told her honestly. "I still can't believe it."

"You can't believe what?" She asked me, her perfect eyebrow arching in suspicion.

"I can't believe that you're here." I walked over to her, running my hand down her face. "In my bed."

"You better get used to it." She tilted her head at me, and her eyes were soft. They were soft like she had no worries, and I liked to believe that's true.

"I can't believe I get to have you so close to me." I continued. I leaned into her, so my face was only a couple of inches away from hers. "I can't believe I get to do this."

I pressed a gentle kiss against her cheek. I felt as she leaned into me, she didn't say anything, but the way her mouth parted as she sighed was enough to take my breath away. I moved my lips downwards, planting soft kisses against the beautiful skin on her neck.

"I can't believe I get to do this either." I said between kisses. Seren slowly leaned back, letting her body fall backwards against my bed. I didn't hesitate before shifting my weight so I was over top of her.

"You're the most perfect girl alive. You know that right, Seren?" I asked her, as my hand slid under her shirt. Even though I've been touching her for almost a month now, I still couldn't get over how soft her skin was against mine.

"Mmm.. no. Why don't you tell me again?" Seren sighed out as she grabbed my hands, pulling them upwards along her torso.

"You're perfect. Every single inch of you is perfect." I dragged my mouth away from her neck, bringing it down against her lips instead. She opened her mouth for me almost instantly, allowing my tongue to enter. Every kiss with Seren was better than the last. Our mouths moved against each other for a few minutes, before I felt her lips break into a smile.

I pulled my head back, my own mouth forming a grin as my eyes darted around her face. She was giggling, her white teeth on full display.

"What's funny?" I asked her, tilting my head as I observed her. Her cheeks were a gentle pink now, and it made the freckles on her face even more beautiful.

"Nothing." She said as she shrugged her shoulders. "I'm just happy."
