Maya's pov:

Sharply at 11 , Daisy came to pick me up. Neither did she asked any questions in the car, nor did I tell her anything.

After 20 minutes , we reached her home.

She opened the door for me and I went inside and sat on the couch in the living room. She brought a glass of water for me. I drank the water in one go and she looked at me hoping for answers.

"I am married." I dropped the bomb on her.

"If it would have been any other situation, then I would definitely say that you're joking and laughed till my stomach hurts. But, right now I know for sure that you are not joking. So, tell me in detail whatever happened." She said.

I did tell her everything from me being forced in this marriage, to my severe anxiety attacks that have been taking place in the past few days. I even told her about this morning incident, where I found out Xavier making out with some other girl in the corridor.

She looked at me without any emotions on her face. I don't lie when I say that she is a really good listener. She listens to you very properly without even for a second making you feel like she is judging you.

She wiped a couple of drops of tears falling from my eyes and said, "I am really sorry baby. I wasn't with you when you had to face all this alone. I know, I promised to stay with you, by your side not only in your happiness but also in your problems. But, I am sorry that I couldn't fulfill my promise. I wasn't there with you when you needed me the most.

You had always been there with me at every time. Be it the happiest moment of me getting my degree or be it the worst moments of losing my parents to having the worst break-up. You were always there for me. But, I am really sorry that I couldn't stand by you when you needed someone to hold hand." She said while crying. She looked dejected.

I held her face with my hands and said , "No Daisy, you couldn't do anything in this and it wasn't your problem. It was my lack of courage that I couldn't stand up for myself and my parents' greed that made them sell me to random guy who has zero respect for a concept called marriage.

I didn't know how to face you in these few days. That's why, I wasn't talking to you and ignoring your calls and messages. Because, I knew that if I talk to you even for a second, I would lose my calm on myself and would have broken down.

And even if you were there with me , I know for sure that if I can't stand up for myself , no one else could. And this isn't a bit of your fault.

You are right. I needed you there at that moment the most. But, I was the one pushing you away from myself. I wasn't ready to let you inside all this mess.

This isn't your fault. Get that straight in your brain." Even I was crying by now.

We both hugged each other and I don't know for how much time I was lost in the embrace of my best friend crying my hearts out and letting all my emotions out.

After sometime, when we both were in a situation to talk to each other , we went to her bedroom and sat on the bed.

"Now my tell me about your anxiety. In this situation, I am sure that whatever medicines I will give, they wouldn't work. I am not making you feel down but this is the reality for a person who suffers from anxiety or depression. He needs to have a calm, soothing and happy atmosphere.

One cannot get rid of all these bad things in atmosphere like you are living in. Tell me about all the things that happened to you during your attacks." She said.

I told her my condition during the anxiety attack that took place in these past few days.

She listened to me and said , "Hear me out very carefully. As a doctor, I know, I should motivate you. But, as your best friend, I know for a fact that rather than the motivation, what you need right now is the reality check. And I'll give you that.

First of all, understand the difference between anxiety attack and panic attack.

A panic attack is a sudden fear that triggers severe physical reactions when there is no real danger or apparent cause. Panic attacks can be very frightening. When panic attacks occur, you might think you're losing control, having a heart attack or even dying. Dizziness, feeling faint or lightheaded and unstable on the feet, Stomach trouble and nausea, Rapid heart rate and heart palpitations, trembling and shaking, Chills and hot flashes, Excessive sweating, shortness of breath and difficulty in breathing, choking sensation, numbness or tingling in the body, feeling as though you might be having a heart attack or other life-threatening disease, Chest pain.

All these are the symptoms of panic attacks.

Anxiety symptoms vary and may feel like a panic attack at times, particularly if a person’s stress levels become overwhelming to the point that they feel unable to cope. Dizziness, sleep patterns that are disturbed, increased heart rate, fatigue, aches and pains in the body and muscle tension are the common symptoms of anxiety attacks.

Darling , here let me just clear you the fact that, I was hoping for an improvement. But, here condition has deteriorated severely.

I cannot take any risk with you now. You need to take care of yourself.

If you aren't comfortable or happy at that house, you know you are very much welcome at my place. This is yours. You can come and stay here. But, I know you won't agree and I'll not force you to do so.

You just need to take care of yourself right now. Day after tomorrow, I'll fix your appointment at the hospital and will come and pick you up in the morning. We will go to the hospital and I'll run certain tests on you.

You have to promise me that you won't let anything happen to yourself. You know after my parents you are the only one for me. Keep that in mind."

I looked at Daisy and said, " Till few days ago, I had my parents but now, I have no one except you. So, I promise you that I will be strong and this baby girl of yours will emerge as the most strongest patient you have ever treated. I promise, I won't let anything happen to me and don't worry I won't have to stay at your place. Just because my so-called husband is engaged in some relationship outside this marriage, doesn't mean that my condition will start to fall off in that house.

Anna is there, who is like a mother to me. She takes care of me very well. Even, Dan and Lucas are there for me. I'm really grateful for these people in my life.

And most importantly, I have you . Before this, I didn't hang out with you because my parents won't allow me. But, now I don't need to take anyone's permission there. I have my own freedom. So, now we can hang out all the time. We will be continuously in touch and don't worry I won't leave irritating you and causing problems for you. I will keep calling you regularly."I said

Although, I meant to joke on this one but, we couldn't control our emotions and hugged each other.

Daisy broke the hug and said, "Enough of this emotional drama. Now come on, after so many days I have got a holiday and I want to make the best use of it . We will go shopping , watch a movie later all night. And you are staying the night with me. I won't take no for this . This would be our first girls night which we can spend with each other. " She said excitedly jumping on the bed like a 5 year old girl.

Even, I wanted to spend some time with Daisy. Living with such strict parents, I never had the opportunity or the benefit of making my memories with my friends, going to those parties , having night outs or anything else. But, now I can do everything that I lost in the earlier days.

I messaged Anna that I won't be coming tonight . I know she'll tell everyone. We both had our lunch. Then, we went for shopping and Daisy is the the most irritating shopper ever.

She'll make you try hundreds of outfits and after that also, if you aren't satisfied, then she wouldn't buy any one of them and take you to the next shop to buy or I say try again hundreds of outfits.

After I don't know how much outfits we both tried, we purchased some for her as well as for me and we came home in the evening.

We were very tired. So, we decided to order pizza and watched a movie. It was a romantic comedy. We both laughed our hearts out. This was the most amazing night in my life ever. We had so much fun.

I completely forgot about all the things that happened in these days that night. I slept with a smile on my face.

I woke up at around 10 in the morning only to see Daisy sleeping over the bed as well as on me with her legs on my waist and hands on my face. I smiled at her position and mentally thanked God for sending such a beautiful soul in my life.

I carefully detached myself from her and took a photo of her sleeping in this position, only to blackmail her afterwards.

I went to the washroom and had a quick shower. I changed into the outfit that we bought yesterday and went to the kitchen to prepare a breakfast for Daisy.

We both are those people who wouldn't need some expensive things to be happy. We just need someone to understand us and support us and laugh with us and cry with us.

And Daisy, she is such an amazing person that if you give her a coffee and a breakfast in bed, she would be ready to die for you. She doesn't need some sparkles in her life. All that she needs is a small light and I guess that's the case same with me.

I prepared a vegetable sandwich and a sweet white latte for her as she likes. I went to the room and saw that she had just woken up and was sitting on the bed streching her body.

"Good morning beautiful sleepyhead." I said

"I don't understand whether you are calling me beautiful right now or taunting me by calling sleepyhead." She asked.

"Don't stress that little brain of yours now thinking about what I said. Come and have this breakfast I made."

"Oh God ! Just please don't make me die right now by eating her breakfast." She dramatically said.

"Shut up Daisy. You know I cook decent."

"Oh my baby darling, you don't cook decent." She said looking at me.

I was worried for a moment that all these times everyone praised me for my cooking , was it just to show it on my face and not hurt me ?

"You cook amazing darling. I was just pulling your legs." She said laughing.

"Oh God Daisy, you just made me hell worried right now . Come on have this breakfast."

We both had the breakfast and she went in the washroom to have a bath and get ready for the day.

When she came outside, we decided to make lunch together and then go to the mansion. She would drop me and even meet Anna.

After having our lunch, we moved towards the mansion.

I knew for sure that Xavier won't be at the mansion right now. Even Dan had messaged me that they had to leave urgently. So, she left yesterday evening.

We both went inside. I called Anna.

She came with a smile on her face and hugged me tightly, "Oh God dear, I missed you so much yesterday."

"Even I missed you Anna." I said .

"Meet her. She is my best friend, my sister, my everything , Daisy. And she she is the one I was talking about, Anna." I introduced them both.

They both smiled at each other and hugged.

"I know mam , that you know everything about all these things happening around and I am really thankful for taking care of my life. I am not lying when I say she is my life and I definitely feel like she is safe here after meeting you. Please promise me one thing that you'll take care of her and not let anything happen to her.

As a matter of fact, I can't reveal anything much right now but one thing you should definitely know , that right now she needs care and not some life taking stress. Please take care of her ." Daisy told Anna.

"Don't worry Daisy. She is like a daughter to me. I promise I'll take care of her as my own." She said that with a smile.

I don't understand whether I am lucky or unlucky. Unlucky because I have got my parents and husband for whom I don't exist as a human and on the other hand, I got people like Daisy, Dan and Lucas who love me for who I am.

I was lost in my thoughts when I felt smack on my head.

"Ouchh!!!! Daisy, the bitchy bitch, you can't keep on hitting my head for no reasons. Don't you know that it has a lots of work to do."

"I know Miss Intelligent, that you have lots and lots of work but for now, come out of your dream land. I need to leave."

Before I could say anything Anna interrupted.

"No , no, you won't leave without having anything. Just wait for sometime. I will quickly bring something for you to eat."

"No need of that Anna. We already had lunch at my place. So right now, I don't even have this tiny little space into my stomach for anything." She said showing a very small distance between her thumb and index finger.

I laughed at her antics and said, "She is right Anna. We won't be able to eat anything right now."

Anna said in disappointment, "It's ok. But next time , you come home Daisy, I'll make sure that you won't leave this place without eating."

"Trust me Anna, don't shower so much love on me or else I'll stick to you like an adhesive." We all laughed and after some time she left.

Even I weny to my room and retired on my bed. I was tired with all these nuisances happening to me. After a long time, I had a day filled with happiness, joy and fun. All because of Daisy.

I don't know when I felt asleep but it was the most beautiful sleep I ever had.
