Ashley POV

The first thing I hear is the birds chirping signaling that it is morning again. As I open my eyes I realize my body is snuggled against another. I look up to see Izzy knocked out. I slowly peal myself away as

I need to use the bathroom. My bladder is killing me. After making it away from the bed I pretty much run to the bathroom. As I wash my hands I hear Izzy on the phone from the bedroom.

"What" I hear his groggy voice say rudely

"The fuck you mean...I got other shit to handle and y'all playing with my money" he says. I walk back in the room to see him sitting over the side of the bed.

"You okay?" I ask tying up my robe

"Yeah... I just gotta go handle sum real quick" I look to him placing my hand on my hip "Ian gone miss the appointment girl chill out" he says referring to my doctors appointment today. I am just entering my 3rd trimester and due to my condition I will have to start seeing my physician more often which I'm fine with.

"Okay but don't be late..." I say coming closer to him. "Or this time I will gut you like a fish" I state kissing his forehead "let's shower" I say jolly.

"Youn even know how to gut nobody" he says walking behind me as I turn the shower on.

"Try me" I say with a smirk. After our steamy shower Israel began getting ready while I went and got Aiden from his room. I sat on the bed brushing his hair as I thought about his upcoming appointment. I had the hardest tine making an appointment with the hearing doctor about Aiden because I've been noticing how he reacts from his left ear.

"Uh oh dada" Aiden says as he drops his toy onto the floor.

"Mama right here bubby" I say before Israel comes out of his closet and picks up the toy. "Say thank you dada" I say as Aiden just babbles.

"You about to go?" I ask Israel as he puts on his black fitted tee.

"Yea ma" he says

"Okay well let me walk you out" I say as I climb from the bed and slip on my house shoes. Izzy then grabs Aiden from the bed and we make our way down the stairs. I watch as he grab the keys to his hell cat off of the key rack before heading to the garage.

"You got everything" I ask as I stand against the doorway.

"Yeah I'm good Ash" he says playing with Aiden

"Well alright baby I'll see you at 12" I say as I lean forward and plant a kiss on his lips before grabbing Aiden from his arms. I watch as he hops in the car before closing the door due to how loud his car is when you crank it. Plus I didn't want to scare Aiden.

Izzy POV

Pissed.

Niggas gone call me early in the morning talkin bout some product missing. How the fuck the shit we just got go missing when we supposed to send that shit out tonight.

I sped out of my driveway basically racing down the interstate so I can get to the warehouse in time to handle this shit. Niggas gone quite fucking with me ima have to show them.

As I pull up I park in front of the back door before hopping out and making my way in. When I get in I head straight To my office to look at the tapes. See what niggas don't know is the cameras got microphones so I can hear everything that happened. I zoom all the way back to last night when I left and boom there it goes. One of these ugly ass niggas "quan" or some shit was trying to talk to another nigga who handle tech.

"Bruh I'm telling you if you just work with me we could be making much more money" he says

"Naa bruh you got the wrong dude. You must don't realize who shadow is. He'll chop both our heads off for even talking bout some shit like this." The other dude from tech says.

"Man whatever I'll do this shit myself fuck shadow" he says before going off and going into one of the storage rooms. And of course he comes out with two large duffel bags. This nigga just don't care about life.

I turn off the video and walk out of my office and head downstairs to the main floor to see niggas walking about.

"Line these niggas up" I say to one of my guards before he nods his head and round them up. I stand off to the side while they try and figure out what was going on.

"Now ima keep this shit short cause I got more important shit to be doing... who took my shit" I state while some people look nervous while other try and figure out what I'm talking about.

"So nobody huh?" I state before chuckling. I cock back my gun before shooting Quan in the foot.

"Quan who took my shit" I ask again

"Nigga ion know who stole yo product" he says hopping around

"Who said anything about product" I say as his face turns white.

"I-I I just figured c-cause man you know" he stutters. He could've atleast lied better damn. I waste no time letting off two bullets in his head causing him to drop to the floor. I turn around from everyone in disbelief and walk back to the back door.

"Go get my shit And have some body clean the shit up" I say as I wipe my hands off to one of the guards before I walk out of the house and head on my way to the doctor.

Ashley POV

I sip on my water as I sit in the doctors office with Aiden waiting on Izzy. I've only been here for about 5 mins but I don't want them to call me back and he isn't here yet. I look to my phone to see I have no missed calls.

And just as soon as I was about to call him I hear the door open and his fine ass walks through. He scans the room before seeing us and walking over.

"Everything handled?" I ask as he sits down beside me and grabs Aiden

"Everything handled baby but don't worry bout that" he says placing his hand on my thigh. We sit in silence for a little bit until a nurse comes out and calls my name.

"The doctor will be with you in a few moments" she says after talking my vitals like aways

"How you feel?" Izzy asks me and I fidget with my fingers.

"I feel good honestly. I'm just nervous" I state

"Don't be we good" he states. I send a small smile before there is a knock on the door. We are greeted by my doctor before she lets us know how the baby is doing.

"Well just glancing at everything, you are doing much better. Blood pressure is good, the baby seems to be doing well. Let's stay on this track so we can keep the little one in there as long as they can" she says smiling. I feel a weight lifted off of my shoulders in relief.

"Is this the first one, Aiden is it?" She says as she looks to Aiden who wasn't paying her any mind.

"Yes he is. Say hi bubby" I say to him as she waves causing him to say a small hi

"And how are you today dad?" She asks as she gathers her things

"I'm good and you?" He asks

"Just fine. Well you guys are all set I will see you next week yes?" I nod my head before she leaves out. I then wiggle myself to the edge of the table before Izzy hops up and helps me down. We walk out of the doctors office before I hear my phon ring signaling a text message. I open it to see a unknown number.

:hi Ashley it's TJ. I was wondering if you'd be open to lunch at around 4:30. I would love to sit down and get to know you.

"Who dat is?" Izzy asks buckling Aiden into his car set in my car.

"My brother tj... talking about he wants to have lunch with me" I say sitting down.

"You gone go?" He asks as he closed the door

"I might..." I state looking at him as he stands at my door

"I mean I gotta go handle sum so if you want to just go take Santana to my moms" he states placing his hands on my hips.

"Can't keep your hands to yourself?" I ask joking you

"Naa I can't you want me to ?" He licks his lips. See this the reason I'm pregnant again.

"Anyways... I think I'll go and see what he's talking about. I'll see you later right?" I ask before he nods his head "words baby"

"Yeah ash I'll probably be home before you do" he says.

"Awe don't get my hopes up" he pout as he laughs "well let me go" I state

"Ight drive safe and let me know when you make it" he says closing my door. I roll down my window before he walks away

"I love you" I state

"I love you too" he says as I smile before he leans into the window kissing my lips. I play some r&b before pulling off onto the road heading back to the house. Once I got there I noticed my mom was there with Sharon so they were glad to watch Aiden for a few hours.

After swapping out my clothes I made my way out the house. The drive to the restaurant was about 15 mins since everyone was mainly at work. Once I arrived I hopped out of the car allowing the valet to park it. I make my way into the restaurant and is greeted by the hostess.

"Do you have a reservation ma'am?" She says

"Thomas" I state as she has me follow behind her through the restaurant. As I approach I notice that he has he wife with him.

"Ashley it's so good to see you again" his wife hops up and hugs me. "He's naturally an ass so don't let him bother you girl" she whispers to me as she releases from the hug. Honestly she seems like a sweet girl who wants to have a relationship with her in-laws but his family other than Chris is stuck up, bitches.

"Hi Ashley how are you" TJ says as I sit down across from them.

"I'm wonderful and you" I say looking over beside me to see another menu. "Are we expecting another guest?" I ask confused

"Uh yes we are actually" I don't think much of it. It could be Maya or someone so I really didn't care.

"So Ashley how long do you have left?" Tjs wife Justice asks me. Justice is a brown skin woman, standing around 5'5 with her hair straightener at the moment.

"A little more that 2 months until I get to meet this little one" I run my hand over my stomach before picking up the menu. Ooo they have some crab dip and Parmesan crusted chicken breast.

"I'm sorry I'm late I had to take my daughter to her mom" I look to my side to see Michael. He was dressed casually in a plain tee with some jeans and some air max's.

"Ashley?" He looks confusedly

"Michael" I state

"I'm sorry I just didn't know that anyone else would be here" he states as he sits down

" neither did I" I take a sip from my water.

"Are you guys ready to order" the waiter comes over. We ended up ordering before we could continue our conversation.

"How do you two know each other" Tj asks as he eats the bread from the table

"We worked together" Michael and I say in sync. Justice looks up in between us and just smirks to me.

"Did you transfer hospitals because you said worked" Tjs nosy ass asks

"No after I had my first baby I decided to stay home and take care of him." I say keeping my explanation short.

"You must have a great partner." Justice says

"Yeah what does he do" tj buds in as I look to the side of me taking in Michaels body language seeing he is uncomfortable.

"How do you guys know Michael?" I change the subject because quite frankly what Israel does is no ones concern.

"He has been a client of the firm and we just became friends after taking on his case" tj says in response.

"I'm still not understanding what is going on how do y'all know Ashley?" Michael asks them looking at his watch. If they invited this man here on some bull shit wasting both of our time I'm going to be pissed. First that's rude because this man a whole ass brain surgeon so I know he barely have free time and I know I could be at home with my child.

"He is my brother" I state taking another piece of bread.

"I thought you didn't have siblings?" He turns to me

"I thought I didn't either but I found I did about a month a half ago when I met our dad" I say not really phased. He begins to say something before he stops talking. I turn as I notice he is looking at the woman from the nail shop.

"Excuse me" he states before he gets up and walks over to her before the turn off into a corner. Our food comes out and I can't help but to dig in. After a few moments my bladder felt like it was explode so I hop up and make my way to the bathroom.

"Where is Daisy, Rose?" I hear Michaels voice say.

"She is fine Michael why are you worried about me" Rose says as I turn the corner.

"Because I dropped her off with you and you don't have any family out here" he says to her

"Michael I am grown and-" I cut her off because they are in the way of the door

"Excuse me..." I state " I need to get in the restroom"

"Oh I'm sorry Ashley" Michael says as Roses face goes into a stank face and they allow me to go into the restroom. As I relieved my bladder I could hear their entire conversation.

"How do you know her?" Rose says

"I don't see why that matters Rose. You are not my woman" he says to her

"I'm not but I can tell you who I want around my child." She states raising her voice.

"Or what Rose you gone take me back to court? Like I'm not paying 19 thousand a month in child support and still paying for your house, car and lifestyle?!!" I hear him begin to pop off and I just make an o with my mouth. Dang 19k thats a lot.

"You know what Rose dont worry about it. Tell me where my child is and I'll go get her" he states before I walk out the bathroom and they turn there heads in my direction.

It was an awkward silence as I tried to hold the door and throw away my paper towel until Michael just held the door for me

"Thank you" I state as I walk past. As I make my way back to the table my mouth waters just thinking about my food. I got the chicken with creamy spinach and a loaded baked potato.

"So Ashley I would love for us to hang out some time so we could get to know each other" Justice says as I sit down.

"Okay sure" is all I say before looking to my plate. As Justice and Tj begin to converse I hear Michael come back.

"I'm sorry but I'm going to have to cut this short I have to go get my daughter" he states picking up his phone.

"Oh damn man we just getting our food" Tj says as I slightly roll my eyes. This is honestly a waste of my damn time. As I look up I am shocked to see Israel walking in. He was dressed in some blue jeans and a simple tee looking as fine as ever in his casual wear.

"What you doing here baby" I say as he embraces me in a hug.

"You never let me know you made it" he says to me.

"Oh this is your baby dad?" I hear tj say as I feel Izzy tense up.

"Don't" I whisper in his ear as he breathes out.

"How you doing man" Israel says reaching out to dap him up. After dapping him up he looks behind me glaring at Michael before glaring back at me. I turn around before realizing why he is looking that way.

"Fuck" I say to myself. I know how this looks and it's not looking too good. It looks like we are on a double date but we aren't.

"Hey man" Michael says reaching out.

"Sup" Izzy says not dapping him up. Rude ass.

"Alright y'all I'm heading out, it was nice seeing you again Ash" Michael says before getting up from the table.

"Hold on ma" Izzy says picking up his phone before walking away

"Well I'm going to head out as well" I speak up

"Aw no really" Justice says

"Babe they probably have things to do" Tj says to her

"Excuse me, could I get the check" I speak to the waitress walking past.

"It's already taken care of by that gentleman over there" she points over to Izzy who looks in a serious conversation. I shake my head as I pick

up my bag and say my goodbyes to the two. I honestly am glad he came because I couldn't wait to be out of there. P

"You ready?" Izzy looks at me

as I shake my head before he tells me to hold on

"Ight I'll handle it." He hangs up the phone. Grabbing my hand we leave out of the restaurant and hop into his car. "I gotta stop by the warehouse real quick ma. You can stay in the car" he states as he drives onto the road. I just nod my head and listen to the music softly playing in the background. As we pull up, Israel backs into his parking space before unbuckling his seat belt.

"The hell was that" Izzy asks as I shake my head

"Some straight bs. They weren't even talking about nothing. A waste of my time" I speak. "I thought you had something to handle"

"I did..." he takes a deep breath

"What's wrong? Sum happened?" I questions him.

"I gotta head out of town" he speaks up

"Where you going and When?"

"Just Mexico and Tomorrow night " he says as I bite the inside of my lip

"For how long?"

"Just a few days it's some shit I gotta make sure straight... i think y'all should come with me" he says to me.

"I told Chris we would come to his game tomorrow" I can't bail on my little brother. I don't want him to think I don't care about him even though or I am a lier. Especially being that his family acts as if they are too busy to be there for

him.

"That's cool we can leave after the game. I just ain't trying to leave y'all here." He places his on top of mine. I get where he is coming from so I don't see a problem.

"Okay baby" I say as we pull up to the house.

"Ash when we get back we gotta start baby shopping. And we gone have to switch Santana room." He states opening the door

"Yeah I'll start looking at some stuff" I say entering the semi quiet house. I don't know what's been going on with me but I haven't been preparing myself for this baby like I was with Aiden. Like by this time last year I had everything ready for my baby but now I have barely anything and I'm expecting to have this child early.

I am broken out of my thoughts by Aidens screams blaring through the house. I hurry down to Ms.Sharon's room to see her rocking a hysterical Aiden as he kicks his legs.

"He has been doing this off and on for the past few hours." She looks stressed as I grab him from her. He seems to calm down a bit but not completely.

"Thank you ma" I say to her as I walk out of the room and upstairs to my bedroom. God I can't walk these stairs like I used to.

"What's wrong with him ?" Izzy says coming out of his closet shirtless before standing in front of me.

"I don't know. Ma said he has been doing this for a while."I look over him taking note that he isn't warm , he is fed and clean so I'm not sure what the problem is. I watch as he holds on to my shirt before drifting off to sleep. I lay him down before going to hop in the shower. After about 10 minutes his screaming starts up again. I hurry up Pitt of the shower before seeing Izzy hold him but couldn't soothe him.

This continued for about 4 more hours and around 7 pm we just decided to take him into the hospital. They began running tests on him and taking blood which made me nervous. I looked over to Izzy as he closed his eyes tight and placing is closed hands over his face.

After about 2 hours of waiting the doctor finally came back in with everything.

"Hi parents !" The jolly doctor says. "So I have some good news and bad news" she says stands ahead of us.

"Good news is Aiden does not have any genetic disease or disorder. No tumors or illness." She says

"And the bad news" Israel says impatiently

"Aiden does seem to be partially deaf in his left ear" she states
