Ashley POV

"What you mean she don't want no test?" Israel says through the phone pacing the living room. I eavesdrop as I get Aiden to play with his motor skills toys. I try to hear what the lawyer says but I can't due to the phone being to his ear.

"Well she can drop tryna pin a baby on me because that's dead." He says.

"Yayyy good job bubby" I praise Aiden as he figures out how the toy works making him clap himself. I hear Izzy get off the phone before coming and sitting beside me on the floor. This made Aiden forget about his toy and crawl over to his dad.

"Really bubby we were having fun" I joke as Israel begins tickling him. "So what happened" I asked referring to the call

"Shawty don't even want a dna test. Now she tryna go to court and shit like they not gone ask for it. My lawyer tryna convince hers to get a private one so we can handle this now." He says sitting Aiden back down.

"Yeah cause that make it seem more unbelievable" I say getting up from my spot. "What you want to eat" I say stretching my arms.

"I'm bout to leave in a lil bit so don't worry bout it" he says as I walk to the kitchen pulling out some fish and grits.

"Damn Santana" I hear Izzy say before coming into the kitchen. "He done scratched the hell out of my face" he says to me coming closer to me. I look to his cheek seeing a red mark where I'm guessing he scratched him at.

"Say I didn't mean to daddy." I grab Aiden from his arms. "Ima cut his nails when I get done baby go head and get dressed" I say sitting him down in his high chair

"You tryna get rid of me already" he comes behind me

"No I'm not baby but I know you have a lot to do today and I want you home before it gets to late." I turn around kissing his lips

"Okay ma" he pulls away before heading upstairs leaving me in the kitchen. By the time I finish cooking I go ahead and get Aiden some puff snacks to occupy him while I eat. A few moments later I see Izzy come down in all black tailored work suit with a few buttons undone at the top.

"Damn can I get yo number" I joke looking over to him.

"You funny" he says coming closer adjusting his suit jacket.

"What you doing that you gotta get dressed up for?" I ask him before talking a sip of my water

"I gotta meet with some investors for the club n shit I should be back before 9." He says before placing a kiss on my lips and going around to Aiden and kissing him.

"Be safe" I say as he walks over to the garage

"Always" he says walking out of the door.

"Well looks like it's just me and you bubby. Let's see what your aunties are doing" I say picking up my phone texting Bri and Paris. After that I texted maya because I have g heard from her in a while and just wanted to check on her.

Keeping an eye on Aiden who was devouring his snack, I went onto my Instagram just browsing until I came about another post about ole girl. I don't know what came up on me but I went to the comments and that was the worst thing I could do.

At the perfect time Aiden pushed down his cup making me turn my head to him. I decided that was enough for the day and got my baby out his chair. After a few more hours he was knocked out and I got a phone call from Maya.

"Hey" I answer the phone

"Hey girl how have you been?" She says excitedly.

"I've been good girl enjoying my family... how have you been it's been a minute" I say looking over to Aiden before making sure he is asleep and walking into the kitchen to grab me some water.

"I'm so sorry about that I've been really busy collabing with brands and stuff..." she trails off. I'm not saying that she's obligated to talk to me but real friends would make time for their friends no matter what. Even if it's just like every few weeks or so like none of us have heard from her or gotten a response out of her.

"But hey my mom and dads anniversary party is this upcoming Saturday I would love if you could come. I've already invited the Bri and maya I'm just waiting for their response. Oh and Maybe our moms can finally meet" she laughs.

"That sounds nice but I'll have to arrange some things with Izzy first for Aiden and I'll get back to you" I say to her. It would be nice if we could all go but I'm not having Aiden out in-front of so many people and I need to make sure Izzy won't be working. Plus I know he is going to be 10 times more protective than before. Trust me he already is. I mean I don't blame him.

"Oh yeah I read that you guys were together but I'm not one to believe things online." She says

"Yes we are officially together" I answer her "well I have to go I'll let you know about the party. Hopefully I can make it" I say before we say our goodbyes. As I hang up I hear the door bell ring before I head over seeing Bri at the door.

"BITCH" she yells hugging me tightly.

"First, this is too tight and second my son is sleeping" I laugh as she back up looking me up and down before covering her mouth as she looks to my stomach which isn't really big but noticeable.

"Are you?" She asks

"Yes" I smile as she does a light scream before hugging me again. "I'm so glad your back I miss you so much and I knew yo fast ass was pregnant again I should whoop Alek and Izzy ass for taking so long. No telling what you went through I could kill-" I cut off her rant.

"Bri it's okay. I'm fine and back now. Now come on I'm hungry" I say turning and going back to the main area. As I walk into the kitchen she goes over to the living room and messes with Aiden who is still sleep. "Don't wake him up or you gone be putting him back to sleep" I say before she wakes him up.

"Say auntie Bri got me mommy" she says holding him and walking over to me. I pull out some peanut butter and crackers and begin eating them.

"Where's Paris?" I ask

"Babygirl is working her ass off she working doubles all week." She says to me

"A bag chaser is what she is. Did you hear from maya about her parents anniversary party?" I ask her

"Girl yes. We ain't heard from her in months and she come text us about a party. I couldn't go no way I have to work a party" she states taking one of my crackers.

"Is Alek saying anything about you dancing?" I ask her. I know before he had a problem with her dancing due to his extreme possessiveness. I don't see how she deal with his crazy ass but I would've been bussed him upside his head.

"Girl I don't care if he did. He knows what I'm working towards and I'm almost there. I almost have enough saved to get the spot I want and furnish it the way I want." She says "he offered to pay for it but that not something I want. I mean like if he did I feel like all the long nights would've been a waste of time. Plus we aren't even officially back together" she says

"I understand where you are coming from girl and I'm proud of you. You're so close to your dreams coming true." I look down getting a little sad. I'm happy with my life but I feel like I didn't get to live out my dreams fully. Don't get me wrong I'm proud to be a mother and have such a caring significant other but I feel like there's so much I didn't do. For example I only had a career for a few years and now im a stay at home mom pregnant again. I know my life isn't over but I have two over humans who come before my dreams now. Who knows maybe I'll have another dream I can accomplish.

"So how far are you" she asks me sitting down and placing Aiden on the large island. I can tell she was trying to change the subject due to my discomfort

"19 weeks today." I say taking a bite out of my cracker clearing my throat.

"Almost half way and we didn't even know" she looks to me giving me a half smile

"It's not your fault Bri. I'm here now so let's not dwell on the past" I say in hypocrisy of myself. I'm telling her not to dwell but I'm still having nightmares and ugly thoughts about it.

"I know ash but I can't help but feel like we all failed y'all like I didn't even have time to feel any type of way. Alek was going insane, your mother was down everyone's throat, Alexei.. well I don't know what goes on in his head he's always quiet so that was scary as shit and don't get me started on Israel. I didn't see him eat or sleep. This house was a mess. I mean like doors were shattered and all. Ain't no doubt that man love y'all" she says to me

"Really ?" I ask her in shock. I knew everyone was going insane but not to that extent

"Yes Ash like you could see in his eyes he was ready to end it all..." she looks to me " not to scare you or nothing" she says noticing my eyes watering.

"You good Bri. I just wish I didn't have to be away for over a month and experience what I did. Like some nights I really didn't feel like living anymore Bri... but I looked over to Aiden and down to my stomach and realized I have more to live for than lose." I say to her truthfully

"I don't know what you were put through Ash but I'm always here if you need or want to talk about it. Even if you don't want to talk to me that's fine but please don't hold whatever in. I know you and you'll let that stuff eat you up inside. It you need to, go talk to someone who can help you and not just listen like I can. I love you and I don't want to see you hurting" she says grabbing my hand.

"Thank you Bri" I say pulling her into a hug.

"Okay enough sap let's go watch a movie or sum." She says standing up. "And wheres the snacks me and my godson are hungry" she says holding him and walking towards the pantry as I laugh and stretch. I swear she's a mess. We watched tv catching up on what happpened when I was gone and whatnot which wasn't much but my mother being emotional and shit.

"Baby!" I hear the front door close signaling Izzy has came home.

"Yeah!" I say out loud before he appeared into the living room

"Hey baby" he kissed my before grabbing Aiden from my arms "wussap Bri" he says to her before she greets him and he begins playing with Aiden

"Well girl I'm about to get out of here before Alek start calling me" she says standing up

"I though you said y'all weren't together" I tease

"Mind your business" she says to me before grabbing her purse and I laugh. I walk her to the door before watching her get in and drive out of the drive way before closing the door and walking back into the living room seeing Izzy sitting on the couch with his feet on the coffee table and Aiden on his lap.

"How was your day?" I ask picking up his blazer which was on the couch

"It was good ma. Don't worry bout that I got it" he says referring to the jacket.

"I heard from Maya" I say

"Word?" He asks pulling his chain from Aiden

"Yeah she want me to come to her parents anniversary party this weekend with mom" I say to him

"Damn y'all just leave a nigga out like that" he says placing his hand over his heart

"You know it's not like that baby. But..." I say Earning a groan

"But what" he reply's licking his lips

"You'll have to stay with bubby" i say referring to Aiden

" no shit Ash who else gone stay with him" he says to me as I look at him with a stank face.

"Don't do that I was just saying ugly boy." I say to him

"We both know I ain't ugly and I'm a grown ass man don't try me ash before I have to show you" he says causing a chill to run down my spine.

"Watch your mouth infront of my son" I say trying to ignore His comment

"Anyways grab that bag off the table" he says as I grab the small bag from the table handing it to him. I watch as he pulls out a jewelry box.

"Got Santana a lil drop since he always clocking mine" he says opening the box revealing a simple gold chain that could obviously fit Aiden.

"Aww look bubby you like it?" I say as she looks at it rubbing his hand on it. Izzy then hands him to me so he can get it out of the case and put it on him. After he put it on I took a little picture of him with it on which was so cute my heart melted.

"Now you and dada matching bubby, yeah" i say as he smiles and he begins to say dada.

"I talked to my lawyer" he says out of nowhere

"And what happened" I know what he is referring to

"She said she'll get it done with our people and sum bullshit talking about if it's positive she wants 20k every month and 30k in back child support ." He says shaking his head and pulling the jewelry box up.

"Well we already know it's not. So just get the test done so she can go shout her business and if she don't then you can file a lawsuit against her." I say to him "at least y'all got her to agree tho. But when you take it?" I ask him

"Shit tomorrow morning, you coming?" He asks me

"You already know I am baby" I kiss his lips.

The next day we pull up to the dna place in his Tesla with Aiden still asleep in his car seat. Izzy comes around and let's me out before getting Aidens car seat out and we head into the center.

As we walk in we see Rhinestone or gem or whatever her name is sitting on the other side of the room with a car seat Beside her. After about 10 minutes of waiting we are called back and we are shown to a room where surprisingly we all fit. The room is filled with silence and so much tension you could cut it with a knife. I looked up catching her staring at me as she tried to quickly turn her head. I just shook my head and smiled as there was as knock on the room door before a nurse came in.

"Alright and it's going to be two swabs on each cheek" she instructed to Israel before she swabbed his mouth and moved on to the baby.

"How long does it take for results" Izzy asks impatiently.

"Well sir it may take a week I could ask the doctor if we can speed up your result" she says

"Please do" he says as the nurse nods her head and walks out. Once again silence. That was until Diamonds phone rung and she picked up the baby and stepped out leaving her things.

"Baby I gotta go pee really quick" I say to Izzy before picking up my Birkin bag and walking into the hall. Okay I may have wanted to flex a little bit but just for entertainment purposes. I have no fun in that house and I really need to humble a bitch back down to her place. So may have wore my Birkin with a matching pair of Christian Louboutin heels.

"Ma we are at the place now..." I come up on the corner hearing the girl on the phone and that's when I hit record on my phone. Baby girl thinking she can hit the jackpot "no not out doctor I couldn't get him to go...he's going to know that she's not his.... no I've already tried to bribe the nurse and doctor they both said no" she says shocking me. Damn could a bitch really be that desperate like come on now. I cleared my throat causing her to jump and look at me with large eyes

"Ma let me call you back" she says to I'm guessing her mother. "May I help you?" She asks like she doesn't know I heard her

"You know you can be arrested for bribery what is it again ... Diamond?" I ask

"I have no idea what you are talking about" she acts dumb.

"Don't act dumb now mama you wouldn't want a judge finding out that you tried to bribe a state official but falsely accused of what was you trying to say izzy did? Oh. "Child abandonment"" I say with air quotation marks. "That's real pathetic sis do better." I say before she rolls her eyes and walks back into the room. I walk back after her because I no longer have to use the bathroom due to that dumb bitch.

"You ready baby?" Izzy looks up from his phone to me

"Yeah let's go baby" I say as Diamond storms out of the room I'm guessing leaving.

She can't be mad she got caught in her scam. Scamming ain't for everybody sis.
