When they reached a stoplight, she noticed her street was the next one over.

"Would it be all right if I stopped by my house for two seconds? I just want to get rid of my stuff and then I can take you home."

Bentley shrugged. "Cool by me."

Sara turned the Jeep down her street and headed to her house. Parking the Jeep in her driveway, she quickly took the keys from the ignition, and leaped out the door. "I won't be long." She snatched her bag and took off at a slight run.

Letting herself inside, she sped up the stairs to her room.

Tossing her bag onto the ground, she turned to head back downstairs.

But Bentley pushed right past her.

"What are you DOING?" she said.

He gave her a mischievous grin as he gazed around her room.

"So this is your special place," he said. He sounded like he was talking more to himself than he was to her.

"I guess," Sara said. She realized, now mortified, that she'd left her bed unmade. And, to her even more unimaginable dismay, there was underwear on the ground near her closet.

She tried to sidestep him to grab the underwear before he noticed it. To her incredible luck, he was distracted by something else.

She managed to kick her underwear under her bag on the ground.

Bentley set her milkshake down on the table. "You almost forgot this," he said.

Sara scowled. She hadn't forgotten it. She didn't want it.

He dove onto her bed and rolled around on the mattress. "Dirty sheets for dirty deeds," he said.

"Get off of there!" Sara said, cracking up. She grabbed a pillow and hit him upside the head.

"Okay, okay. Hold your fire," he said. He flipped off the bed.

He started to poke around at the items on her vanity table. He sniffed a brand new perfume she'd just bought. "Holy F. This smells like my wildest dreams," he said.

Sara flopped down on her bed, fuming.

He knew as well as she did that it would be impossible for her to kick him out. He snickered at her reproachful look. "Now what do we have here?" He opened up her jewelry box. But when he saw the blue diamond necklace from Kurt, a deep frown line creased his forehead. He slammed the box shut.

His eyes scanned the images tucked into the sides of her mirror. He studied the one with her and Charles. "Your brother is a good guy," he said softly.

Sara lifted an eyebrow. "Yeah, he is."

Bentley turned to face her. "He told me all about Yale at your party on Sunday. Gave me the inside scoop on some of the top secret places I have to see."

Sara took one of her pillows and clutched it tightly. It was super unnerving to have him snooping through all of her personal things. "I'm glad you both could talk about college," Sara said.

Bentley went to her closet and pulled open the doors. "Check out the sexy merchandise in here!" he said, laughing. He took one of her silk nightgowns off a hanger. He held it up. "Please wear this to bed tonight. I beg you." He tossed her the nightie.

With a slight scream, she caught it and tucked it hurriedly under her bedsheet. "I don't think so," she hissed.

He did his bell-like laugh and spun back around. "How about I pick out an outfit for you tomorrow? And you have to wear it."

Before Sara could stop him, he started to sort through her hangers. "Ah, this is fiiiine. Ooh, this too."

He displayed a red sleeveless blouse and a tight black skirt.

"Um," Sara said, as if it should be obvious. "That skirt is WAY too short for school and that blouse doesn't have any sleeves."

Bentley thought for a moment. He whipped back around and took out a black leather jacket. She heard him gulp as he picked up a pair of her black tights. "Oh, yes. This is it."

He hung the clothes on the back of her vanity table chair.

Sara checked the time on her bedside table. It was getting really late. "Look, uh, Bentley. We should probably get you home, don't you think?"

Instead of responding, he marched over to her bathroom and disappeared inside.

"WAIT!" Sara screeched. She dove at the bathroom door, but he slammed it in her face.
