《The Boy with the Beautiful Name》Thoughts

Sara took forever to select her school outfit for Monday. After her chaotic weekend sleeping over Friday night at Ella's, to her Saturday night make-out session with the boy with the beautiful name, she had no idea what to expect this week.
After going back and forth between her dark blue skirt and her green silk wrap dress, she settled on the dark blue skirt. She paired it with black stockings, now that the weather was getting cold in early October. She pulled on a white, lacy sweater. It was simple, but made her feel like a goddess.
She made sure to run a hair straightener through her long hair. No way would she risk having frizzy hair today.
During the drive to school, she fumbled with the radio for her playlist. She made sure not to play any love songs. Nope. Hard Rock it was. The same kind of music her brother preferred.
As her Jeep came to a red light, her phone beeped. She picked it up and read the text.
-Saturday. You + Me = downtown New York City. ~Kurt
Sara giggled. She hadn't been down in Manhattan for the longest time. And that definitely needed to change. She quickly texted Kurt back.
-Ooh, Big Apple? Sounds delish! ~S
Kurt responded back.
-That comment almost made we write you something dirty. Buuuut...figured we won't go there. Not yet anyway. But maybe soon? ~Kurt (devil emoji)
Sara read his message and sighed. He was going to be a problem. Apparently girls didn't wait long to sleep with Kurt. Well, too bad for him. She wasn't one of those girls.
As the light turned green, and she pushed the gas to continue driving to school, she recalled how she'd acted with Kurt in the hot tub at Bentley's house party. Just a little bit of whiskey was all it took for her to let Kurt do almost whatever he wanted with her. Luckily, Erin had showed up when she did. But even Erin, as tough as she was, would not have been able to drag Sara away from Kurt. No, Bentley had done that.

She bit her lip as the school building came into view. Parking her Jeep beside Pam's Volvo, Sara took a deep breath and stepped out onto the pavement. She clutched her field hockey bag tightly to her shoulder as she balanced her black leather handbag in her other arm.
"Hey, Sara!" Dalia called. She and Kimber waved to Sara from their lockers.
Sara smiled and waved back. Ella's slumber party Friday night seemed like it had happened a million years ago.
Her eyes skimmed over the other students in the hallway. Several had their heads inside their lockers, pulling out notepads and books for class. Others gossiped together in small groups. Their lives were probably the same as they had been before the weekend. Unlike Sara's. Her life seemed to have changed dramatically!
Sara pushed open the locker room door and went to unlock her locker to store her field hockey bag. She'd just tossed in her bag, when she felt a tap on the back of her shoulder.
She spun around.
Ella and Trish stood behind her. Trish's face was unreadable, as always. But Ella's eyes were narrowed. She had her arms crossed over her chest. She wore a black, long sleeved cashmere dress.
"We sure had fun Friday night, didn't we?" Ella said.
Her words took Sara by surprise. "Um, yeah. I had a great time. Tell your mom thanks for letting us all try on her amazing jewelry and clothes." Sara forced herself to smile. This was incredibly awkward!
"Don't worry about it," Ella said. "My mom doesn't care." Her eyes were still narrowed.
Sara sensed tension. She shut her locker door behind her. She tried to push past Trish. "Okay, well, the bell is going to ring soon. We better get to homeroom."
"Wait a minute," Ella said. She and Trish caught Sara by the arm.
Sara felt her blood freeze over. Somehow, she managed to keep her face looking calm.
"What's up?" Sara asked, as innocently as possible.
"I know about you and Bentley," Ella said.
