《The Boy with the Beautiful Name》New Day

Poor Sara was too drunk to realize just how unbelievably extravagant her room was. If she'd known how wonderfully fluffy her pillows were, or how she slept under a headboard made of pure gold, she would have been very happy, indeed. But she was far too tired to notice anything except how desperately she needed to sleep.

Before the boy with the beautiful name departed, he had wrapped her shivering body in a thick, soft, but extremely heavy material. He placed her down upon a bed in the darkened room.

As exhaustion overwhelmed her, Sara heard him whisper words before the door slid automatically shut. "In the morning, please call for Erna. She will know what to do."

Hours later, Sara finally awoke. The first thing she noticed was how blindingly bright her room was. She tried to open her eyes all the way, but found she could not.

She placed her hands over her head and groaned. Her brain hammered with a whiskey hangover.

Squinting her eyes against the pain of her head and the brightness of the room, she swung her legs off the bed and tried to stand. Instead, her feet tangled in something fluffy and she fell face-first onto the ground.

"Ow!" Sara moaned, rolling onto her back. She lay on what felt like an enormous fur rug.

As she stretched her arms out behind her, she hit something cold and hard. She jerked her hand back in surprise. Craning her neck, she slowly looked up...and almost had a heart attack.

A woman made of solid silver stood over her. She looked like an android. "I am here to assist you, Sara. My name is Erna."

Sara opened and closed her mouth in stunned silence. She tried to focus on the woman, but the sunlight streaming in from the open windows made the woman's silver body blindingly bright.

"I'm sorry. I can barely see anything," Sara told her. She shut her eyes again, covering her face.

"Allow me," Erna said.

Sara heard a whirring sound. The room grew darker.

Sara peeked behind her to see the windows had all been covered. Relieved, she removed her hands from over her eyes. She slowly climbed to her feet and stared at Erna.

The android woman was almost as tall as Sara. Where her eyes would have been were instead, blue lights. She smiled a toothless smile.

"Th-thanks," Sara said, trembling.

"I am here to help you," Erna said. The android woman made a slight bow.

Sara closed her eyes and groaned. "Ooh, my head. I'm sorry. I think I am going to be sick."

She heard Erna walk away. Moments later, the android returned and held out her silver hand. "Take two," she ordered.

Sara glanced at the red medicine tablets. "What are those?" she asked, suspiciously.

Erna pointed to Sara's head. "For the pain." She gave Sara a small glass of water. "Drink."

Sara gratefully took the medicine and downed it with a single sip. Almost instantly, she felt better. She opened her eyes fully and looked at Erna in surprise. "What was that? I feel amazing already."

Erna bowed to Sara again. "Erna is here to help. What else does Sara need?"

Just then, Sara heard a faint whimper. She froze. Looking past Erna, she spotted four dogs.

The great Siberian Huskies sat unmoving. They watched her intently from near the doorway. If they hadn't moved their heads slightly, or blinked their eyes, Sara would have assumed they were fake.

"Are they friendly?" Sara asked Erna, pointing to the dogs.

Erna clicked her fingers.

As if free of some unseen force, the four dogs instantly bounded over to Sara, barking excitedly.

They dove on top of her, whimpering and licking her everywhere.

"Yikes!" Sara laughed. She collapsed with the dogs onto the ground. She wrestled with them for several minutes.

Erna pressed a button. The dogs immediately retreated back towards the doorway and sat down upon their haunches.

"They're so well-behaved," Sara said to the android. "What makes them that way?"

Erna displayed a remote in her hand. "This is a special device to make any animal obedient."

Sara lifted an eyebrow. She wondered if Erna would let her borrow it to use on Trash.

"Wow, being a billionaire must be pretty sweet," Sara said. She flushed, realizing she had said her thoughts out loud.

Erna nodded her silver head. She moved towards a wall and pressed a button.
