Whatever whiskey was, it worked fast. She suddenly felt as if all of her limbs were made of JELL-O. As she gazed down at Kurt, she realized she liked the way his blue eyes twinkled. There was a dimple in his cheek. And his lips were very red for a boy's.
"Are you still planning to come in?" Kurt asked hopefully. He refilled her cup and handed it back to her.
Sara nodded and drank more out of the cup. She was starting to feel weightless.
"Take that off," Kurt said. "You don't want to wear it in the water." He pointed to her black jumpsuit.
Sara obediently pulled off the silky fabric and let it slide to the ground. Luckily she'd decided to wear a real bra and underwear.
She let Kurt pull her down into the steamy water. The bubbles popped merrily around her shoulders.
"Feel better?" Kurt asked. He took her foot under the water and started to massage it.
Sara allowed herself to relax. After all, this was a party.
Kurt began to massage her other foot now. His hands worked expertly at the sore places around her toes.
"You're good at that," she said softly.
Kurt gave her a mischievous look. "How old are you?" he asked.
Sara giggled. "Twenty-one," she lied.
Kurt's eyes brightened. His fingers had moved to the calves of her legs. "Works for me," Kurt said. "Though I didn't realize high school girls were older than college guys."
Sara smiled. She let her head rest against the edge of the hot tub. She could see a sliver of moon floating in and out of the dark clouds.
Kurt's hands were higher now...getting dangerously high. He stared down at her. His eyes held that same smoky look of desire Bentley's had at the beach.

Sara closed her eyes and let her mind wander again. She thought of Bentley's chocolate brown eyes and the way his hand had stroked her back. How could he not find her attractive? She was a girl! Weren't all girls desirable? Weren't all girls meant to be loved and adored by the world's most beautiful boys? And besides, she was as cute as Ella. Though, maybe Ella was a little prettier. But still!
Just then, she felt Kurt's cold mouth close around hers.
She opened her eyes.
He kissed her ever so softly. His lips barely brushed against hers. Then he dipped his head and began to kiss around her collarbone and up her neck.
She shivered, feeling him press his body up against hers. She liked the feel of his kisses. They were soft and sweet.
"Who were those other guys in the hot tub?" Sara asked as Kurt nibbled her ear.
He pulled back to study her face with a glassy-eyed look. "Have you seen the film, X-Men take Mars?"
Sara shook her head. She wasn't a big super hero movie type of girl.
Kurt flicked water at her. "You don't get out much, do you?"
Sara giggled and splashed him back. She liked feeling so free and alive all at the same time. She had to admit, whiskey was magic.
Kurt wrapped his arms around her waist. He leaned into her again. "That was Ryan Jones and Sydney Witter. The leads in the film. Those old boys just took home ten million each from the show's box office."
He started to kiss her neck again.
"How do you know them?" Sara asked. His mouth was starting to make her feel a bit breathless.
Kurt lifted his head. "Ryan's my cousin. He said I get to be in the film's sequel. But supposedly the part I'll get, the dude gets eaten by a monster or something. Sucks, right?"
Sara burst out laughing. She brushed Kurt's golden hair out of his eyes. "I won't let the big bad monster get you."
"Good," he said. Then he kissed her hard on the mouth.
As Sara let her thoughts jumble into nothingness, from somewhere far away, she heard someone calling her name.
