《The Boy with the Beautiful Name》The Mysterious Stranger

When Sara first saw the new guy, she lost her breath. She had been walking to catch up to her best friend, Erin, when an incredible car swerved right in front of her to park in an empty parking place.

What a jerk! Sara thought angrily. She scowled at the shiny, black sports car. She was about to give the car's bumper a pretend kick -- she did this only when she was extremely mad-- when the driver's door burst open. Sara jumped back, startled.

The driver slowly climbed out of the car. He seemed to grow larger as every inch of him came into view.

Sara tried to glimpse his face but he hid his features behind dark sunglasses. He didn't seem to see her. He stretched sensually, placing his arms high above his head. It was amazing such a tall guy -- he looked over six-feet -- could fit inside that almost flat-looking car. The guy groaned loudly as he completed his stretch, a sound that brought an immediate blush to Sara's face.

She watched, mesmerized, as he grabbed a black backpack from the passenger seat and, with a quick slam of the door, made his way towards the front of the school.

The wind seemed to flirt with the curls of his disheveled, milk chocolate hair.

Sara exhaled. She hadn't realized she'd been holding her breath. Who was that?

Just as the guy disappeared into the school, Erin's face appeared in front of Sara's. "OH. EM. GEE!" Erin cried aloud. "Did you SEE that guy? I think I am going to melt into a pool of mush."

Sara grinned at her best friend. "Of course I saw him. Well, only sort of saw him. I saw his back."

Erin elbowed her in the stomach. "That's the best male back the two of us will probably ever see in our entire lives," Erin breathed with an exaggerated sigh. "We have to find out his name and where he's from. Do you think he's in our grade?"

Sara rolled her eyes. "Come on, Erin, did you actually see that guy or did you only kind of see him? He's beyond us. We can't get the guys around here to notice us. There's no way a guy like that will even know we exist."

Erin wasn't listening. She was texting excitedly to someone, probably Pam, the other best friend, about the new guy.

"Oh em gee. Listen to this. Pam said she saw his face! He's to die for!" Erin pretended to faint into Sara's arms.

"Yikes, Erin, jeez. Get a grip, will you?" Sara laughed, trying to hold up her somewhat pudgy friend.

Sara adjusted her leather handbag that she used as a makeshift purse. Last year, the popular girls -- Trish and Ella -- had ditched their backpacks and bought large leather handbags. So naturally, every girl in school copied them.

"Come on," Erin called, dragging Sara by the arm behind her. "We HAVE GOT to see that new guy's face."
