The Surrogate

Six months later he finally convinced Christy to go on a honeymoon. He told her that his mother and Steven were more than happy to stay with Dylan while they were gone. So he booked a private villa at Yasawa Island, Fiji for two weeks. They enjoyed a spectacular Ocean view with an incredible sandy beach. They went snorkelling and at night they enjoyed romantic dinners on the beach. Their Villa had its own swimming pool overlooking the ocean.

They made love under the night sky with stars twinkling above them on the sandy Beach. Even though they took day trips and dined out at some of the best restaurants they still spent most of their time at the Villa making love.

Seven days into their honeymoon he woke up to find she wasn't in bed so he went looking for her. He found her sitting on the lounge chair on the balcony of their private Villa with only a bed sheet wrapped around her naked body.

"What are you doing out here all alone?"

She looked up at him. "I couldn't sleep and I didn't want to wake you so I came out here. It's so beautiful out here but I miss Dylan so much."

He went over and kneeled down in front of her. "I miss him too but we need this time alone together."

"I know and I love it here."

He took her hand and kissed it, staring back into her eyes. "But you want to go home."

"Yes, I do."

"But we only have five days left, can't you just wait a little longer?"

She didn't want to disappoint him, knowing how much this time away meant to him. For years he had spent working every hour and never had a vacation and she was not about to spoil it for him. "You know what? As much as I miss our son I would like to stay till the end. On one condition."

"Anything, just name it."

"Take off your briefs and get under the sheet with me and make love to me."

He stood up and removed his briefs and pulled the sheet from her body. "I was going to do it anyway."

As it turned out the lounge chair wasn't quite sturdy enough for what he had in mind so he picked her up and carried her inside to the bedroom.

While she was asleep he laid there with her in his arms, running his fingertips along her cheek. He knew she was only agreeing to stay for his sake so he was going to surprise her by taking her back home in the morning. After all, he would still have a few days off work to stay home with her and Dylan.

In the morning when she heard him talking on the phone and making arrangements for their trip home she went over and waited until he hung up.

"Cole, I told you I wanted to stay."

"I know you did and I also know you're only saying that for my sake. I miss Dylan too so let's go home and spend the remainder of our honeymoon with our son."

"Are you sure you don't mind?"

"No, I don't mind and I love you so much that making you happy makes me happy."

"So when do we leave?"

"In about five hours."

"Then I have plenty of time."

"Just what do you have plenty of time for?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

"For this," she said, pulling down the zipper on his pants she got on her knees.

Well needless to say as soon as she was done giving him one hell of a BJ he took her to the bedroom and satisfied her until it was time for them to leave.

Everyone was happy to see them come home, especially Dylan.

Gloria handed him over to Christy. "He was a perfect angel but has been fussing the last couple of days. I think it was because he was missing his mommy and daddy."

Christy couldn't stop giving him little kisses all over his face which made him laugh. "We've missed you so much, baby. We're never going to leave you this long again."

Gina and Abe came over for a visit later that night just before they put Dylan to bed.

"Hey guys, Gina and I have something to tell you both."

"I hope it's good news," Christy said as she handed over the baby to Cole.

Gina couldn't help the huge smile that lit her face. "It's fantastic views, I'm four weeks pregnant with twins."

Christy began jumping up and down and squealing as she went over and hugged Gina. "Oh my God, I'm so happy for you both."

Cole shook Abe's hand. "It's about damn time."

"It sure is and can you imagine twins. I guess my boys are much better swimmers than yours."

"Okay you two, it isn't a competition you know," Gina said, shaking her fingers at Abe. "I'm starving so let's order some takeout. After all, I'm eating for two."

Everything was going great, their marriage was wonderful and Dylan was the perfect baby. They have read in the paper that Joyce gave birth to a baby boy.

"I feel sorry for that child, Joyce will never pay any attention to him. She won't even raise him, she'll have nannies to do that. But she got what she wanted, after all, a multi-millionaire and everything that goes along with it," Cole said as he tossed down the newspaper.

Christy came up behind him and started massaging his shoulders. "I just hope that the father will love him and give him the attention that every little boy needs."

He took her hand and pulled her over and sat her on his lap. "Dylan will be loved by both of us, and he's a very lucky boy to have you as a mother."

" Don't forget about you, he's lucky to have you as a father. You know, he just went down for his nap and should be sleeping for another hour so what say we go upstairs and fool around."

Well, he was never one to turn her down, taking her hand he practically pulled her up the stairs to their bedroom. ******

One month after coming home from their honeymoon she knew she was pregnant. She and Cole had talked about having another child but they wanted to wait until Dylan was at least two years old. It appeared as if she had gotten pregnant on the last day of their honeymoon in Fiji. It meant that she would have two children under the age of two running around. But she wasn't one to complain and was very excited about it and couldn't wait to tell Cole the good news.

That night she made his favourite meal for dinner and when he got home she greeted him at the door with Dylan in her arms.

"Welcome home," she said and handed Dylan over to him. "How was your day?"

"It was great," he replied and leaned over and kissed her, then he kissed Dylan's forehead. "But I'm so glad to get home to you two and something smells good. Did you make my favourite pot roast?"

"I sure did now why don't you go into the living room and relax and I'll let you know when dinner is ready."

He took Dylan with him and played until she came in and announced that dinner was ready.

"This meal was delicious, you are an amazing cook."

"Cole, there's something I need to tell you."

"Sounds serious."

"It is. When we were on our honeymoon we brought something back with us that we weren't expecting."

He started getting nervous. "Please tell me we didn't bring back some sort of bug."

She covered her mouth to stifle a giggle. "Well, I wouldn't exactly call it a bug, it's more like a little seed."

He picked up Dylan's rattle and handed it to him. "I don't get it."

"Oh my sweet gorgeous husband, I'm trying to tell you that you planted a seed inside me. I'm pregnant."

He sat there with his mouth wide open for a moment while the news sunk in. "You're pregnant."

She smiled at him and nodded. "Yes, I am. I'm really not surprised because you were on me every second."

He got to his feet and walked over to her, took her hands in his and pulled her up. "Oh my God, this is such amazing news. Oh, I love you so much," he said as he put his arms around her and picked her up off her feet and swung her around before putting her down and kissing her.

Dylan was watching and started laughing at the scene before him.

"This time I was actually the one to impregnate you one-on-one. I can't tell you how much I love you and how happy I am. Just wait until I tell the rest and I can't wait to see the look on Abe's face."

"I thought you told him it wasn't a competition."

"I did, but now he's not going to be one up on me. I just had a great thought, what if you were to have twins?"

"Don't push it, mister," she said and gave him a big kiss. "Now I'm going to do the washing up so if you could give Dylan his bath and change him I would really appreciate it."

"It'll be my pleasure and once we go to bed I better give you a complete check-up."

She rolled her eyes at him. "Yeah yeah, as if I don't know what you mean by a complete check-up you horny devil."

She couldn't wait for her first doctor's appointment to confirm her pregnancy so that she could tell Gina. It was going to be so awesome that their babies would be close in age and could grow up together as well as Dylan.

Poor Cole and Abe, both had to deal with their wife's mood swings. It was even worse for Abe since Gina was carrying twins.

One day at work Cole walked into Abe's office and found him with his head on his desk asleep. So he walked over and slammed his fist on the desk causing his friend to jump.

"Damn it, Cole, what did you have to do that for?"

"What's the matter buddy, aren't you getting any sleep?"

"Gina has been a nightmare, I can't wait for these last two months to go by and the twins to be born. Can you believe that she had me go out at 3:00 in the morning looking for a restaurant that had Chinese food? I finally found a place and when I got back home she was fast asleep and got pissed off at me because I woke her up. And don't get me started on sex, we haven't had sex for so long I think I've forgotten how to do it."

Cole laughed out loud. "Well the poor girl is carrying twins man so what do you expect. Trust me, it's going to be even longer after the twins are born."

"Well, at least it makes me happy knowing that you're not getting any lately."

A big grin appeared on Cole's face. "Sorry buddy, but Christy has been super horny and I've been getting it every night."

Abe looked at him and growled. "You lucky son of a bitch. Now get the hell out and let me have a nap before I have to go into surgery." ********************

Gina gave birth three weeks early to a baby boy and a baby girl. They were named Susanna and Theodore.

Christy went into labour right on her due date and gave birth to a beautiful baby girl whom they named Savannah.

Abe and Gina never had any more children whereas Cole and Christy had two more boys whom they named Maxwell and Titus. From time to time they would see in the news Joyce partying with friends but never any pictures of her and her child. The father however was always being seen with his son. It was rare that you saw Joyce and her husband together. Thankfully Cole and Christy never heard from her again.

June continue to work for the couple and was a big help with the children. Gloria and Steven spent a lot of their time with their grandchildren when they weren't traveling around the world. Never once did Cole neglect Christy or his children. He was the perfect husband and father that anyone could ever ask for. His love for his wife never dimmed, it only grew stronger with each passing year.

All the children became good friends and kept that friendship throughout the years. Yes, Christy and Cole did have their arguments but they always managed to work through them. She never lost her sweetness or had anything bad to say about anybody. She never heard from her parents even though she tried a couple of times but they would never return her calls or her letters. But her life was so full of love and happiness that she didn't have time to stress over the loss of her parents.
