《Dear Mr.CEO {COMPLETED}》Favorite Feeling

Chapter 26:

There are so many ways to describe his house. But I went with the simplest one, it is huge to say the least. It wasn't a mansion or anything outrageous like that. I took notice of the walk way path to the fresh garden and to his double doors.

Two huge lanterns stood sticking out of the brick wall, looking at me as if I was intruding in its privacy.

Turning my head, I saw at least four oak trees spreaded around, one was gigantic enough that it's branches and leaves almost touched the grass.

I jumped startled when the sprinklers came out to water the grass. "Sorry, I forgot to turn those off." He came up from behind me.

"It's okay." I waved him off, turning to face him. "And you said you live here by yourself?"

"No." I eyed him, and he held up his hand up before continuing. "I have you now."

"Oh stop being cute." I rolled my eyes before walking around him to get my luggage.

"I didn't know I was being cute." He helped me. "Do you like it?"

"It's better than my apartment for sure." And that was the truth, walking up to his door he opened it for me.

"Ladies first."

"Always the gentlemen, you're mom taught you well." Then something clicks within him, and his demeanor changed almost defensive like, and I wished to take it back. That was not how that was suppose to go.

"Something like that." He shut the door behind me.

The first thing that grabbed my attention was the smell of his house that smelled of lavender and citrus mixed together, then the rest followed after. His stairs curve and he has a built in fish aquarium on the far side. His kitchen is twice the size of my apartments kitchen.

Hell, it probably was my whole apartment in one.

Walking in further and down a hall to my left I saw glass doors containing a built in office. "You bring your work home?"

"Sometimes."

Nodding my head, my eyes caught the living room. The furniture was light brown followed by a table sitting in the middle with a remote sitting crooked and my eyes drifted to the flat screen, its seems like it takes up most of the wall. "Your house is beautiful."

He didn't say anything, causing me to turn to see what he was doing. He definitely was standing tall, but he had his hands in his pockets just staring at me and I was starting to fidget in place, becoming a little uncomfortable.

Once seeing me bounce from side to side, he takes his right hand from out of his pocket before reaching it out for me to take. "Come with me."

"Where?"

"Upstairs."

"To do?"

"To show you around." He looked skeptical at me. "Unless you have something else in mind?"

"Oh no!" I shook my head, placing my left hand in his. "I didn't.. forget it." I sighed, this was going horribly.

We walked upstairs, hand and hand and I looked down from his balcony to see the house, turning left he guided me down a hallway. "This is my room." He opened the door for me to see it, and I nodded my head before he closed it.

"How many rooms are there?"

"Five."

"Five?"

"Yes, one here." He guided me to each room. Before stopping at the last door. "And this one can be yours, my sister decorated this when she stayed with me for awhile."

It fitted me perfectly, it reminded me of my apartment rooms a little bit. The walls were plain but there sat a double bed- the bed sheets a lavender green- there was a lamp the size of me standing tall next to it. A dresser was pushed against the wall in the corner not to far from it with a mirror attached.

All of this would have been a complete clutter in my room for sure. "Thanks." Releasing his hand, I walked in to sit on the bed. "I have an idea."

He leaned against the door. "Please don't tell me you want to have sex? You just moved in."

"No." I blushed before standing up, knowing that's where he got the idea from. "I was talking about our date."

"It's kind of late-"

"Who said anything about going out?" I questioned him, placing both of hands on my hips.

"You want to pick flowers or something?" He joked, folding his arms across his chest, mimicking me. "I have a garden for that."

"What about a movie and snacks?" It reminded me of the time I did it with Adaline.

"Movie and snacks?" He flinched back as if I spoke a foreign language, he uncrossed his arms.

"Yep." I bounced on my toes.

"You sure are different." He chuckled before dipping his head, pinching his nose between his forefinger and thumb.

"How?"

"Most women would tell me that they want me to take them to a restaurant and showering them with gifts.. and you're telling me you want a movie and.. snacks?"

"Well I'm not most women." I shrugged. "And yes that's what I want."

"Alright if that's what you want."

"You seem like you don't like the idea."

"I'm just nonchalant." He stepped into the room. "But if it makes you feel better, my answer is yes."

"Good then we have to get ready." I did a little shimmy and his eyes widen at the scene like I just committed a crime.

"Get ready?"

"Yes Mr. Millionaire, we have to get ready. Pajamas to be exact."

"I sleep in boxers."

"Well." I blew out a smoke of air. "Can you put on some shorts or something?"

"What? You don't like me in boxers." He looked amused to see me blushing.

"I've only seen you once in your boxers." I added. "And plus, it's a date."

"Let's go get your stuff then." He walked out of the room and I followed after him and after five minutes of heaving my suitcases, we re-entered the room.

"Your room is that way." I pointed to the door for him to leave.

"I know my way around my house, but thank you for reminding me." He winked at me before turning on his heel, turning the corner sharply.

Preparing myself for the night- which included a shower- I put my hair up and made sure I saturated myself in enough deodorant before putting on my favorite set of pajamas.

Nothing can ever go wrong with Minnie Mouse.

"How do I get out of this maze?" I mumbled to myself trying to find my way downstairs, it was sort of a distraction walking around. It was either pay attention to the tour or pay attention to Landon, and I went with the second option.

When I did finally reach downstairs, I saw Landon perched up on the couch-he seemingly seemed to have disappeared into the couch the way he sat back-in front of the TV he was dressed in nothing but shorts and I couldn't help but stare.

"You finally made it." His eyes flicked to me, seeing me approach him.

"Your house is like a maze." My eyes roamed over his body, it was hard not to. "I'll be in the kitchen." I got up to go into the kitchen, my warm feet hit the cold tile floor. Opening his fridge, I was disappointed to see only healthy food.

A settled for grapes. "You don't have anything good!" I huff, after today, eating healthy was the last thing on my mind.

"Pantry."

"So you do eat junk food." I grinned before seeing a collection of things.

"On my cheat days."

"You have a lot of chocolate in here, where's the rest?"

"I like chocolate." It wasn't what he said it's how he said it, and there was a double meaning.

"That's cool." I lamely said, closing it before walking back over to him with the snacks. "Are you ready?"

"What, are you wearing." He tried to stifle his laugh.

"Don't disrespect Minnie like that." I sat them down on the table, before covering her big ears. "She can hear you."

He rolled his eyes before flipping through 'On Demand.' For a movie to watch.

"What movie are we watching?" I plopped down next to him, before draping the blanket I assumed he brought downstairs over us.

"Guardians of the Galaxy." He clicked on it.

"Oh you're a fan of super heroes?" I asked reaching forward for the unopened donut holes before offering him some.

"What if I said yes?" He took one from me, popping it straight into his mouth.

"Well I'm into Disney movies so." I settled back. "Press play." We watched the little commercials first before the beginnings credits rolled in.

Getting up because my throat felt dry, I went to go get two bottles of water for us- seeing that he had it stacked. "Are you cold?" He asked me, once seeing me shiver out of the blue.

"No." I answered, setting the water bottles down before getting back underneath the blanket. "I get these random chills from time to time." His hand dropped from the back of the couch to wrap around me, pulling me closer to him.

We continued to watch the movie, laughing at some parts and sharing the food.

The movie credits slowly fade in telling us the movies over and I was sadly disappointed. But we made no move to unwrap ourselves from each other. "That was a interesting date."

"Yeah it was." I ruined the moment by yawning but looking at the time, I couldn't care.

"You're tired." He mumbled, his left hand went into my curls, and that was making me even more sleepy as he played in my hair- and he knew the exact spot to.

"Yeah I am, but I don't want to move." I closed my eyes.

"Then don't." He kissed my forehead before hoisting one of my legs so I straddled him, my front was pressed to his. I wrapped my arms around his neck before leaning my head on his shoulder, I probably looked like a baby. "Sleep sweetheart."

Yeah he's definitely my new favorite feeling.
