I ate so much so much that even some of the guys were shocked at how I managed to shove so much food down my throat. Lucas teased me about it, claiming that not even the heaviest guys on the football team could eat as much as I did, but I brushed it off and laughed, knowing perfectly well that this wasn't even half of my limit.

When I stress-ate, I didn't hold back.

Not one bit.

But I couldn't just sit here and eat all night, even if I wanted to. I still had to confront Greyson and tell him off for leaving me for that long whilst knowing that Alex wasn't even mad at me.

The problem was that I didn't know where he was.

Both he and Alex had some how disappeared since I had last seen them both, meaning that they were probably together, and yet Kaiden was sat opposite to me, shoving glass noodles in his face, completely unbothered by his best friends' disappearences. I looked over at him texting on his phone, but he didn't even see me looking as he replied. Sighing, I stood up and went searching in the freezer where I knew there was ice cream. Alex had bought me mochi ice cream and told the boys that only if they had a death wish they were to touch it. I dumped three on a plate and sat back down, pulling my phone out and sending Kaiden a message.

Where's Alex and Grey?

He looked up after a second and gave me an unimpressed look. I grinned and shrugged slightly.

"You really couldn't find it within you to ask me that?"

"I didn't want to distract you!" He rolled his eyes and switched his phone off.

"You just did! Even more so now, as I literally could've replied whilst I was typing!" I scoffed at his statement.

"You so couldn't!"

"Yes I could, actually! I do it quite a lot!"

"But never when I'm around!"

"Love, you've not even been here for a month..." I frowned. He pouted, exaggeratting my expression until I laughed and, before he could react, took a quick picture.

"Ha, take that you jerk!" He laughed and rolled his eyes again.

"Just don't let that get around, Love."

"Why not? Have you got a reputation or something?"

"Yeah, with the ladies,"

"Wait, you have a girlfriend?" He hesitated for a second and I could see him trying to think of a reply.

"I am friendly with a lot of girls..."

"Oh," I kind of shrugged. Honestly, I hadn't really thought about it until now, but the thought of Kaiden with a girlfriend just didn't seem right. He was so quiet and sweet and I knew one day he would be a good boyfriend, but he only ever hung out with his group and pretty much blanked everyone else out. He saw no issue in literally walking away whilst someone was trying to talk to him, which wouldn't be good if he and his girlfriend ever had an argument. We sat in silence for another few seconds, until I gasped.

"Hey, you tried to distract me! Where's my brother and Greyson?" He grinned.

"Sorry, Love. I thought distracting you would work, I mean, you are a little bit ditzy sometimes,"

"Stop it! Tell me where they are!" He shrugged and stood up.

"Sorry, can't say," I pouted and shoved a mochi ice cream in my mouth, realising that they were about to start melting if I wasn't quick. Kaiden left the room and I pulled out my phone, going onto Snapchat and looking on the maps for Alex and Greyson. As predicted, Greyson had been smart enough to hide his location, whereas Alex... Not so much. If Kaiden thought I could be ditzy, I didn't even want to know what he thought of Alex. He might be smart but he sure didn't act like it.

They were only a few mintues away, but in a part of the town I hadn't been to yet. I sighed clicked onto TikTok to distract myself for a while, knowing perfectly well that as good as Snapchat was, it wasn't always so reliable and I had an awful sense of direction.

When I finally came off of the app, the room was dark and, looking at the time, I realised that somehow, two hours had gone by, without me even realising.

How does that happen?

I swear I only watched a few, not nearly enough to take up thirty minutes, let alone two hours!

Why was it today that I kept wasting time?

I oculd've done so much...

"I just don't know what to do... he's back and he wants her home." The front door slammed shut and I heard Alex murmuring to Greyson about something. Was this about the rumors?

"Well he's not going to get her, you know that. She's safe from him here, as long as she doesn't leave for now, she's safe," Greyson replied. I turned my phone back on quickly and started flicking through Instagram quickly, making sure I looked as though I wasn't listening to their conversation.

"What if she does leave though? He's fucking manipulative, you know this. One message from him and she's fucked!" Alex cried out, getting more annoyed with every word he spoke. An uncomfortable feeling washed over me; their was only a few people that Alex cared about, and an even smaller amout he cared about to get this upset about. Of them who were a 'she' and not a 'he', well, I wasn't sure, but I knew he didn't have many girl friends...

"She's just moved in, she's not going to leave so quickly, and even if she does..." I shivered. They had walked away, meaning I had missed the last of Greyson's statement, but one thing was for certain - something was going on, and it involved me.

Surely it wouldn't be that bad though, if Alex hadn't told me anything. Or maybe he had? What if him asking about any messages was his way of telling me? We led different lives, heck, on the first day, him and Kaiden took me with them to get weed. My friends used it, but they never dealt it, that was a whole new level of illegal! What other laws had they broken whilst I was here? And all the ones when I wasn't?

But more importantly, who was trying to message me?
