Heath had texted me that he was about 5 minutes away. I quickly grabbed my sweater and little purse before slipping on my shoes and heading downstairs. "Hey May. Heath invited me to go to the movies with him and the guys. I'm probably going to be home around 10."

"Of course, have fun on your date," May says sending me a wink my way.

I groan in annoyance. "It is not a date. It's just a hangout with the guys. And Heath happens to be the one who invited me. And is picking me up," I try to convince her that this isn't a date. She just raises an eyebrow in response. "Okay, I'm going now bye," I rush out.

Heath's car is waiting in front of my house and I make my way over there. The air is cold tonight, so the wind brushes my hair in my face. I quickly open the car door to the passenger side and slide in. "Hi," I say putting on my seatbelt.

Heath reaches his hand and brushes the few strands of hair away from my face. "You ready?" He asks me and I nod in response. He begins to drive us to the movies. I bring my phone out to text Jed that we're on our way. He tells me that Kade and Nash have already arrived.

The car ride is silent as I look out the window and watch the building pass by. Soon we reach the parking lot to the movies and Heath turns off the engine to his car. We both get out of his truck and walk towards where I spot a guy with a neon orange jacket.

"Boo!" I sneak up on Kade and he lets out a girlish scream. "Hey Kade," I greet him laughing.

"Geez, you almost scared the popcorn out of me," Kade says swatting my arm.

"So what movie are we watching?" I ask the guys.

"It's a surprise," Jed says wiggling his eyebrows. We all make our way inside the movies and got our snacks and drinks. I watch as we make it to our movie room. Great. We're watching the movie "After". It's a romance movie. Gee, I wonder who chose this.

"Jed? Did you pick this movie?" I whisper yells to him. He nods his head. Jed was always known as a hopeless romantic.

We make our way to the seats. Unfortunately, I got stuck with Jed on my left, he cries a lot. And Heath on my right, he'll probably find a way to distract me.

The commercials show first so the movie won't be playing just yet. "I'm gonna use the bathroom real quick, I'll be right back," I tell Jed who nods watching the commercials with a serious expression on his face.

I scootch my way out of the aisle and walk to the bathroom. "Did you see those group of guys?" I hear a female voice say as I use a stall.

"I know right, they're so hot," Another voice says. "Should I give them my number?"

"Yes! Do it. Oh, I dibs on the guy with the neon orange jacket!"

"Oh, you can have him. I'm going for the guy with the rings. And the hand tattoos. Now he's hot," Rings? Hand tattoos? The only guy I know who has those are... I gasp. Heath? Yeah, they can have him. "But did you see the girl who was with them though? I bet you she's fucking all of them."

Excuse me? The only thing I'm fucking is up to your face with my punches if you don't shut the hell up! Bitch. "I know right," The other voice says.

That's it. I flush the toilet and make my way out to wash my hands. The two girls stare my way with shock and horror written on their faces. I turn to face them and give them a fake smile. "Excuse me," I say as I reach behind girl number one to grab a towel. "Enjoy the movies," I say with a smile as I head out of the bathroom.

I make my way back into the theater room. "You okay?" Heath whispers to me as he noticed my irritated face.

"Yeah," I reply and lean back against the comfortable seats. The lights dim and I make out two figures sitting in the row in front of us. I recognize that fake curls anywhere. Those were the girls from the bathroom. Keep your cool Prim, don't lose it.

The movie starts to play as the room goes silent. The only thing that can be heard is the munching of popcorns. Ugh.

Throughout the movie, I hadn't even noticed the arm that is slung over my shoulders. I look at the hand, yep. Heath. I'm going to be here for an hour more so might as well get comfortable. I lean back against his arm, snuggling closer to him. I felt his arm tighten around me, causing a slight blush to form on my cheeks. Good thing the lights are dark or else Heath would've smiled in victory.

I hadn't even realized that I fell asleep in the middle of the movie when the lights shine back up. I cover my eyes with my hands as the light is way too bright for me right now. "Aww, you guys look so cute," Jed's voice causes me to realize the position that Heath and I were in.

I automatically bolt upright. Heath has a smirk played on his lips. Yep, that victory smile. "Is the movie over?" I ask gathering my belongings.

"Yeah, you missed the whole thing!" Jed complained.

"Sorry I'm just really tired, I guess," I say standing up. We all head out of the theatre room and into the main hall.

"I'm going to refill my drink," Nash says and Kade tags along. I notice the two girls from earlier eyeing us. Then they start walking where we are? Are they approaching us? Oh hell no.

"Um hi," Girl number one says. I get a better look at her now. She was the one with those fake curls. She has plump lips coated with lip gloss and beautiful ocean blue eyes. "I'm Emily," She greets looking straight at me.

"And I'm Kara," Girl number two says. I notice she has straight blonde hair with honey brown eyes. She has a nose pierce and wearing a warm smile. These girls actually look, nice?

"Hi," I say hesitantly. I give them a suspicious look. I can feel Heath's eyes narrow at them as he slips an arm around my waist protectively.

"We're sorry about earlier. We shouldn't have said that. That was rude of us," Emily says, she sounds genuine.

"It's fine," I say with a reassuring smile.

"So are you guys like....together?" Emily asks looking a little sad at the thought of me being with the guy she wanted from the group.

"Oh we're---"

"Together yes," Heath says, cutting me off. I look up at him to see him glaring at the two girls. Emily's face drops a bit before recovering.

"Uh yeah, but the guy with the neon orange jacket is available. His name is Kade. You should go talk to him," I say to Kara with a happy smile. Her face from before changes from sad for her friend but then happy to the fact that the guy she wanted is free.

"Thanks," She says and slowly walks over to where the other guys are.

"I'm just... gonna um... go with her," Emily says nervously. Heath and I both watch her retreating form as she follows her best friend to chat with Nash and Kade. I turn to glare at Heath.

"Why did you say we were together?" I ask curiously.

"Because I didn't want anybody flirting with me," He says like it was obvious. "And what did she mean by 'We shouldn't have said that'?" Heath asks, his eyes narrowing.

I sigh. "Okay fine so we were in the bathroom and I was like using the toilet and they were talking about how like they wanted to go for you and stuff and how I was fucking all of you guys," I say in a rushed tone. His narrowed eyes turn to angry ones.

"They said that?" He asks, irritation clear in his voice.

"But Heath, they apologized so it's fine," I say holding onto his arm before he could storm off and confront them. "Leave it, please," I beg him.

He closes his eyes for the briefest moment before looking back at me. His angered eyes soften just a bit before he wraps his arms around my small frame. "Guess who got a date tomorrow?" Kade sings as he and Nash approach us.

"That's great," I say. "I'm happy for you,"

"Yeah, but my offer still stands up but ends in three......two......one...........--"

"Zero....chance," I finish for him with a playful smile. "Hey, where's Jed?" I ask. Come to think of it, I haven't seen him since we all left the movie room.

"Jed?" Nash shouts. "Call him,"

I bring out my phone and call Jed's number. It goes to voicemail. Okay, now I'm starting to panic. Where the hell did Jed go?

"I'm here!" I sigh once I hear that familiar yet annoying voice. We turn around to see Jed with puffy red eyes and a toilet paper roll in his hand. "Sorry. Ready to go?" He asks.

"Jed......are you.......crying?" I ask trying to contain my laughter.

"No! Someone just happened to put onions in my popcorn," He tries to defend himself. We all start laughing at him. "Okay fine! The ending was sad, okay?" He says.

"It sure was buddy, it sure was," Nash says patting Jed's shoulder.

"Okay, where to now?" Kade asks.

"I'm going to take Prim home, it's getting late and I wouldn't want her to miss her curfew," Heath says.

"I do not have a curfew," I say defending myself. "I just don't like staying out past midnight,"

"Okay, we'll see you tomorrow Prim!" Kade calls out as Heath ushers us outside into the cold night air.
