"I'll choose you. In a thousand of lifetimes, in a hundred ways, I'll choose you."

-3rd person-

On that day, the sky mourned. As if crying in agony, raindrops wouldn't stop falling. Lightning cracks through the dark sky accompanied with the loud roars of thunder.

One last tear drops down, hitting the cold hard ground covered in his blood. Her nearly lifeless eyes could only watch as all the colors drained from her vision. She could no longer see a bright world full of color, the world that allowed her to meet this amazing man, the world that gave her loving parents and a great set of friends.

She could only watch her world slowly turn into blacks and whites, in different shades of gray.

She watched every moment flash through her head, relishing every breath she was taking for she knew that it will soon be her last. How he held her in his arms, how soft his lips felt against hers, how his eyes would twinkle with happiness, her own reflection staring back at her every time she'd look into his eyes.

She watched every memory replay itself in her head, reminiscing them. She watched as all the events in her life come to life before her. It all felt so real. She remembered that time at the rooftop when they danced till their hearts content, without a care in the world. She wished it would last forever. She wished it would never stop, she wanted to spend her time with him like that. Happy and free from all problems.

She blinks her eyes slowly, taking in her surroundings. She sat up hearing the happy chirping of the birds. She looks over to see her friends, staring at her. She felt her insides churn in pain as she stares back, eyes filled with sorrow.

She watched Capella run to her, wrapping her arms around her neck, sobbing. She sat frozen, it felt like her heart was being stabbed by a hot knife. She looks behind her friend, her eyes meeting with her two other friends. Valery gives her a small smile, her lips quivering as she did. She saw Leah's eyes turn glossy with tears as she tries to muster the biggest smile she could give her.

"Thank you for everything..." Leah mutters quietly, voice wobbly, trying her best not to break down. She felt Capella hold unto her tightly as she felt her eyes water. She couldn't do anything but bid her final goodbyes. Valery looks away, trying to swallow the lump forming in her throat. She envelopes them in a hug. She will forever appreciate what they've done for her.

"Don't forget us."

She nods, pulling away smiling. Taking one last last look at her friends, she turns away.

She sees Tyler and Shawn. Shawn gives her a small smile before extending his hand. "It was wonderful having the opportunity to meet you, shortie." He says. Shaking his hand, she smiles. "You too, partner. Take care of the company and Pella for me will you?"

"I will."

"And oh, I'm expecting a starbars order. I'll be waiting." She jokes, trying to lighten the mood.

She looks at Tyler, who flashed her a teary eyed smile."Sorry I wasn't able to be there when you needed me the most." He mutters softly, averting his eyes to the ground. "It's fine, it isn't your fault." She whispers. "Just promise me one thing,"

"Live a happy life. Eat lots of food and find someone suited for you." She states,"I'll be watching you." She adds threateningly. He lets out a small laugh before saluting, a tear slipping out his eyes as he tries to brush it away.

"Yes ma'am."

Giving them both one last smile, she waves before turning back once more.

Walking into the calm valley full of flowers, she spotted the love of her life. He was wearing a white shirt, his hair messily framing his face. He turns back, smiling as he did. His eyes met hers, tracing every inch of her face. She felt a warm feeling envelope her entire being.

She felt safe, she felt happy, she felt at

"We met earlier than I expected, love."

She slips her hand in his before looking up at him. He lifts her hand up, pressing his lips on the back of her hand.

"I know."

He intertwines his fingers to hers, holding it tightly as if to say: She looks at her hands then back at him, smiling. She wasn't planning to do so any time soon. "Shall we?" He asks, gesturing to the horizon. She looks behind them, gazing at the world one last time, taking in every detail. Hand in hand, they walk together towards the beaming sunrise.

Because finally, it all ended in peace; they've found
