"Whatever way our stories end. I know you'll have rewritten mine by being my friends."
-Maddie-
"I feel like a princess right now." I can hear Leah giggle from the dressing room. We were all going to wear hanboks. To be honest, I am super excited and nervous at the same time. It's a huge mixture of different emotions.
I sat down as I fiddle at the end of my skirt. My hanbok was a light blue color and had some gold designs on the hem. I was now looking at my reflection as the stylist puts the headdress on my hair.
Leah comes out of the dressing room. Her face looks flustered as she slowly makes her way outside. Her cheeks matches the cream peach color of her handbok. She looks at each of us and we nod in approval. Her smile widens as she plops on one of the chairs.
Capella wore a pastle pink one whereas Valery wore a lavender one. "I'm gonna be princess peach today!" Capella teases as she imitates the character. "Who's your Mario?" Valery inquires suddenly, quirking an eyebrow as she inspects her phone's screen.
As if on cue, Capella's cheeks turns red as she looks away, cupping her cheeks. "Oh~ Is it Shawn?" Valery asks in a sing song tone."S-stop it...." She manages to stutter out. She collects herself and coughs and we burst in fits of laughter.
"Wait...isn't Leah supposed to be princess peach?" I ask, tapping my chin. She shrugs as she hums happily at the stylist.
Once we were done, we greeted the staff and waved goodbyes. They reminded us to be back in 3 hours so that they could pack it up.
We strolled around the streets of insadong. We were able to find hoodies and nice souvenirs. "Oh! Look at this!" Valery says, holding up a delicate hairpin. "Woah...." I muse as I look at the pin in her hands. I found some nicer looking ones and bought it as a gift for my friends.

We decided to look around more and found a lot of items such as comfortable clothing, Kpop merchandise and some shoes. I really liked the hoodies that Capella spotted while walking around. They were cat inspired and had cute contexts written on them.
"Oh my gosh. Look at this!" I hear Leah say. She was holding up a Tata hoodie with a huge grin on her face. We all look at her weirdly as she shrugs and clutches the hoodie near her chest.
"I like this heart cutie. No judging." She mutters, as she asks for the price. I lowkey chuckle at Leah's actions.
Three hours went by as a breeze. We took a lot of pictures and bought a lot of items. I couldn't believe that what seemed like minutes was hours. Time really waits for nobody, huh? I think to myself.
We kept the hanboks as a souvenir and as a memory of this trip. Before you know it, we were boarding the next train back to euljiro-ga 1.
I stared at my friends who sat before me. Leah's eyes were dropping, Capella was trying to stay awake and Valery was resting her eyes. I smile. In that moment, I felt like leaving for London and leaving my friends behind wasn't the right thing to do.
My lips twisted into a frown. I knew that I only had until Saturday to spend time with my friends before I depart. A part of me tells me to stay and be with my friends but another part tells me that I have no choice, after all, it is for the company. It was a very hard decision to make.
A sigh escapes my lips as I close my eyes. I guess I have no choice... I felt a wave of sadness wash over me. They'd understand right?
All I can do now is to enjoy every moment. "This stop is Euljiro-ga 1. The doors on your left side will open." The speakers on the train blares loudly. We got off the train and took our time to slowly walk to theater.

"Hey, can we buy some food? My tummy is very hungry...." I pout, lightly patting my stomach. "Are you sure it's your tummy or is it you?" Valery jokes, nudging me on the arm. "Maybe both." I grin.
We bought some snacks and headed towards the theater. "I am so excited for this movie!" Capella smiles. "Uh....it's sorta like a play..." I state. "Oh, it's just the same thing." She laughs lightly.
"It's starting." Valery shushes us. We all look at the stage before us. The people on stage were dancing.
What amazed me was when they made music using everyday items. They could make beats and rhythms. Soon, the audience was enjoying. We all cheered while they pulls stunts and tricks.
After it ended, we decided to grab dinner in Leah's favorite restaurant. She leads us to a hotpot. She smiles and hugs the owner. "Oh! Welcome! Welcome!" She smiles widely as she embraces Leah. She pulls away and looks at us.
"너 친구 야? 와우, 너무 귀여워." She smiles. I tilt my head to the side, completely confused to as what she was saying. "Oh, she was asking if you guys are my friends. Plus, she said y'all are pretty." Leah adds.
While we waited for the soup and meat to cook, we decided to chat a bit. "You know, I'm happy we get to spend more time together." Leah smiles widely, eating some kimchi with rice. "I know right, after this...." Valery trails off, looking at her plate.
Silence fills in between us. We all knew deep down that without one of the members, it wouldn't be complete. In this case, I am that member. I felt my stomach churn at the thought of being the reason of the incompleteness of this group.
"Maddie, you got to promise us something." Capella says, interrupting the silence. We all turn to look at her.
"Yeah?" I hum, gesturing her to continue. "You have to visit us. Or at least message or call us when you aren't busy." She says, looking at me dead serious. "You won't forget us when you get new friends right?" Leah asks.
I won't forget them, will I? I thought to myself. "I'll visit you guys as much as I can! And I'll message you everyday." I cheer. "Sorry if that sounded creepy..." I add shyly. We all laugh.
"And Leah, I obviously won't forget you guys because you all have a special place in my heart." I say in a childish tone as I place my hand overvmy heart.
"Cheers to our friendship!" Leah smiles as she raises her glass of ice tea. In that moment, I felt a warm feeling of nostalgia wash over me. I was thankful to have friends like them. Friends that I can trust. Friends that I can rely on. Friends who would support my decision, especially if it would be for my own happiness and comfort.
I raise my glass in unison with Capella and Valery.
"Cheers!" We say together. We began to dig in and enjoy ourselves. I could only wish for time to move slowly so that this won't end. I just hope that no matter how long the distance between us may be, no matter how often we may meet, we will still stay as close as ever. I believe that no matter what goes in our way, we would always stay the same.
