"I was able to find out more about him. He's definitely a rat, Santino. It's up to you to decide what you want to do with him," Reyna said, showing me a picture of one of my men shaking hands with one of my many enemies.

She placed the photo down on the desk in front of me before sliding her glasses off her face and folding them up. I placed my hands on her hips and dragged her into my lap, wrapping my arms around her.

"Good work. I'll get rid of him," I told her, planting a kiss on her cheek.

She giggled like a schoolgirl as I slid my hand down to her thigh, pulling her closer to me.

"Don't you have enough children, mio Dio," Adelina said, suddenly making her appearance known once she walked into the office.

I rolled my eyes and leaned back in my seat. It wasn't until I noticed the mini-dress she wore and heels that made her almost a whole foot taller, that I sat back up.

"What the hell are you wearing, or should I say... not wearing?" I asked with raised brows.

"I am twenty now, Papa. I am allowed to wear what I want," she said.

"You're ridiculous," I muttered, pinching the bridge of my nose.

"You look beautiful, honey," Reyna said. I snapped my head to the side so I could look at her. That traitor! She did not look beautiful. She looked like a hooker.

"Thank you, mama! I actually found this in your closet," she said, doing a spin so Reyna could see. I shook my head back and forth in disbelief as Reyna shot up out of my lap to get a closer look.

"My gosh! I definitely had gorgeous children!" Reyna exclaimed, kissing Adelina's cheek. Adelina wore a big smile on her face as she hugged her mother.

"We get it from you. Everyone knows that our looks didn't come from Papa." she chuckled.

Manuele knocked before entering the office. I raised him on respect and honor. I was probably more hard on him than any of my other kids because he reminded me most of Reyna. He had her intellect and calming energy that couldn't help but captivate those around him. I saw a lot of potential in him. He could be greater than me and greater than his uncle Alessandro.

"Manuele," Reyna breathed. It had been quite some time since we saw him. He went off to a 'camp.' At first, Reyna opposed the idea of sending her son off to a different country—Italy, but I persuaded her.

She went up to him and hugged him, making sure to never let go.

"It's been six months since I've last seen you," she whispered.

In those six months, Manuele has grown a lot. He went from being a couple of inches shorter than Reyna to easily towering over her. In a couple of months, he'd probably end up towering over me, too.

"I know, Mama," he said. Even his voice was deeper. "I've missed you."

When Reyna pulled away from him, I stood up from my seat and buttoned up the last few buttons of my suit jacket. He came up to me with his hand ready for a shake, but I pulled him in for a hug. I patted his back reassuringly just before pulling away.

"You look good, son," I said.

He smiled.

I watched him go over to his older sister and pull her in for a hug.

"You're going to mess up my makeup and then I will mess up your face with no remorse," Adelina threatened. He only hugged her tighter, laughing as he did.

"Manuele's back?" Angel questioned, popping into my office randomly. When he saw Manuele, a big smile came across his face as he opened his arms out wide. "My brother!"

"My brother!" Manuele exclaimed, letting go of Adelina and going over to his younger brother Angel.

"Oh, boys!" Reyna laughed, rolling her eyes.

"Next time you go to Italy, I'm coming! I can't stand being here and listening to Adelina argue with her boyfriends all day," Angel stated.

"Boyfriends?" I asked, crossing my arms over my chest.

"Shut up, Angel!" Adelina exclaimed just as her phone began to ring. She answered it and headed out of the room as a smile came across her face.

I made sure to mentally note how I was going to have a discussion with Lorenzo later about the boyfriends Adelina supposedly had.

"Come on, Mama. I have a lot to tell you about camp in Italy," he said. I cast a look over at him, narrowing my eyes. He immediately glanced over at me before looking down at the ground.

I didn't want him telling his mother what the camp I sent him to actually was. I wanted him to get a taste of the life that was destined for him once it was time to pass over my title. I was afraid that if Reyna knew, she would never forgive me.

Manuele gave me a curt nod as if he comprehended what I couldn't say.

"I can't wait!" Reyna smiled as she walked out the room with our sons.
