After the meeting of the pack members and eating our meal that was catered by the staff, we did the Luna and pack member initiation. I had changed out of my gown into a white nightgown-like dress that was spaghetti strap. It sat nicely on my cleavage and was nice fitting. My hair was no longer styled and remained out in it's curly mane.

I navigated through the house alone, making my way back to the backyard where I felt everyone still was. Exiting onto the balcony, I see everyone in their wolf form, waiting for me. They were lined up, row on either side of the trail that led from the end of the staircase.

I walk down the center of the staircase, feeling my feet against the cold stone. When I make it to the bottom, I walk down the aisle that my pack made, them all bowing as I walked past them. This occurred all the way to the end where Darrel and Adam were the very last, sitting across from another on either side of the aisle. They bowed as I passed them, making my way up to Garret who stood in his human form, wearing his a navy blue button-up shirt and regular slacks.

His arms were behind his back, making his chest protrude forward as it already looked slightly restricted with the shirt material. His eyes were already trained on me as I stepped up the three steps to the elevated platform that he was on. Bringing a hang out to me, I softly take it as I stepped forward into him.

His facial expression remained neutral and calm, but he squeezed my hand as we soon faced the rest of the pack. They had broken from the aisle and were scattered in front of us, watching us as we began the ceremony.

I look at the table to our right. On top of it there was a golden, intricately decorated, cup with a dark red liquid inside. Next to it was a velvet red band and a silver knife, most likely pure silver.

Garret softly tugs my hand, having me turn to him to meet his eye. With that, he begins-

"Tonight, Emerald Taylor will become our newest pack member as well as our Luna."

The pack howls. He continues-

"Tonight, we drink from the cup of legacies and exchange bloodlines as I accept her, openly, as my mate."

I suddenly begin to feel a heat slowly crawl up my body, but I ignore it. He walks us over to the table where he firstly grabs the velvet band and instructs me to bring my wrists up. Doing so, he loosely places the band around my arms, it dangling as he grabs the golden cup and holds it between us. He instructs me to place the band around his extended wrists, it dangling loosely. Following suit, we both softly gripped the cup, eventually making eye contact as he continues.

"I, Garret Johnson, Alpha of Silver Knight pack, would like to welcome you, Emerald Taylor to my pack." He takes a gulp of the dark red liquid inside the cup. I see him grimace, as much as he tried to hide it. "If you choose to accept us as your new home and family, we ask that you remain loyal and respectful to us. Pack first."

"Pack first," I repeat.

I see his eyes smile pridefully. He moves the cup to my hands, still keeping the band around our wrists. "Do you accept the Silver Knight's to be your new pack?" he questions.

"I do," I respond.

"Repeat after me. I, state your name."

"I, Emerald Taylor," I repeat.

"Vow to be a member of this pack."

"Vow to be a member of this pack."

"Putting those who are in need ahead of me."

"Putting those who are in need ahead of me."

"And respecting those alongside me."

"And respecting those alongside me."

"I vow to fight in the face of fear, protecting my family."

"I vow to fight in the face of fear, protecting my family."

He tells me to drink. Placing my lips carefully on the cold golden rim, I take a gulp of the dark red liquid, feeling the bitter taste instantly hit my tongue. Forcing it down regardless, I feel it settle in my stomach as I softly grimace as Garret had. But, unlike Garret, this time was different.

My eyes having been closed from my gulp, I suddenly grow dizzy as I softly sway. I instantly feel Garret settle me, holding onto my waist firmly and gently to keep me upright. He removed the cup from my hand and, I assume, placed it back on the table. I grab ahold of his forearms, steadying myself as I felt another dizzy motion run through me.

The hot flash I had ignored earlier suddenly intensified. Not long after I suddenly felt the rush of different voices penetrating through my mind, becoming overwhelmed with hearing everyone's thoughts at once. I grimace softly at the impact, stumbling softly, but I tighten my grip on Garret as he tightened his grip on me.

Everyone's thoughts were about the same, thinking their approval of the ceremony. Desperately seeking for the switch that turned off all their thoughts, I tried to not think anything, knowing that they were hearing my thoughts as well.

Just when I thought it was becoming too much, I hear Garret's voice over all the others.

"You're okay," he says reassuringly, over all the chaos. It was amazing how his voice instantly put me at ease. I squeezed his forearms to tell him that I was hearing him and that I wanted him to continue talking. "You're doing great, just focus on silencing all of them."

I focused on his voice, slowly detaching myself from all the voices that still penetrated through. Eventually, they all began to dwindle as I focused on my own thoughts, soon not hearing anything at all. I stood in silence.

"You alright?" I hear Garret ask through the mind link, it feels slightly different, knowing now that he was communicating to me as well as the pack.

"Yes," I say back, opening my eyes to meet his.

Tuning into the mind link, I hear the pack begin to howl of happiness, soon howling aloud. I physically laugh softly along with Garret, who eventually took the band off. When the pack soon settled down, Garret continued on-

"Now we exchange bloodlines," he states. "To finalize our mate bond and for you to become Luna."

I don't say anything as I feel the heat continue to stir inside me, it slowly making me begin to sweat. I continue to ignore it as best I could, knowing that the ceremony was almost over.

Garret grabs the silver knife, his exterior hardening as the pure silver burned his hand softly, not as much as it would any other wolf outside of this pack. Nevertheless, he brings out his other hand, beckoning for mine. I put my hand in his, palm up, waiting for him to cut into my skin first. He reassuringly runs his thumb along the back of my hand as he quickly slices into my skin, having me softly gasp mentally at the searing pain that came from the slice and the contact of the pure silver.

Though I was in pain, I kept a neutral exterior as the blood seeped out of my hand. Garret released my hand as he quickly switched hands with the knife, slicing his right hand quickly. I see his jawbone flex, no doubt dealing with the pain I had.

He places the knife back on the table, and looks at me, slowly bringing his bloody hand to my bloody one. We grasp each other's hands, our blood mixing. The wet contact suddenly made my blood boil even more as it racked throughout my whole body.

Not being able to ignore it anymore, I softly gasp at the feeling, gaining everyone's attention as I felt their eyes on me. I exhale out loud as I try to bear the heat that overtook my body.

"Emmy," I hear Garret say as he holds onto me, keeping me upright.

I begin to feel my mind begin to darken, as if I was shutting down mentally. I had no control over what my body did at this point, my mentality soon shutting off completely. I feel my eyes roll into the back of my head, my eyes fluttering closed as I soon collapse against Garret.

Emerald fell against Garret, looking lifeless as he tightened his grip around her, supporting her weight. He yelled her name continually, trying to wake her but not getting any clear response. He fell to his knees as Darrel and Adam ran up onto the platform in their wolf form, sniffing her body to see what was wrong.

A wolf's sense of smell went as far as smelling supernatural activity that could take effect. Not smelling anything out of the ordinary, everyone grew confused as to what was happening.

Garret held her in his arms, her body facing upwards as they were able to see that she was softly sweating. It made sense since her body felt hotter than usual. Though she was unconscious and not responding, they were able to hear her strong heartbeat, that seemed slightly quicker than usual, and her chest continues to rise and fall.

Soon, with her eyes still closed, she begins to mummer. At first, it went unnoticed by all the chaos, but it didn't go past Garret's ears. He brings his head closer to her lips, trying to hear her over all the howling. Not being able to, he quickly grows angry and yells aloud-

"Quiet," he yells, the pack suddenly quieting.

He turns back to his mate, still seeing her looking lifeless. Not trying to have his nervousness control him, he softly says to her-

"Emmy," he starts. "Say it again."

There was silence for a moment before her lips moved again, murmuring something in her native tongue. Not familiar with the language, he asks her to repeat it.

Emerald continues to mummer it and eventually, her body begins to rise, out of Garret's arm. Darrel and Adam make room for her body as it begins to float above them. As she continued to rise, the moon that didn't seem as bright as it was now suddenly shone on her, reflecting off her body somehow.

When it seemed as if she was right in front of the moon, the brightness consuming her body, her chest rises. Her necklace begins to shine brightly, Emerald's arms extending as her body straightens up. Soon, her eyes open for the first time, the shining of her bright electric blue color.

The pack was able to see her eyes as they were trying to comprehend what was going on. Soon, Emerald screams as her body begins to contort in ways that it shouldn't. To human eyes, it was looking like her body was breaking as her muscles and bones pop and crack in different ways. But to her pack, they see her begin to shift as she slowly came down from the moon.

By the time she touched the ground, she was in her wolf form, her white fur shimmering softly under the moon. She laid on the ground, looking as if she was sleeping.

Garret quickly got up and ran to her. Falling next to her, he looks over her wolf, engulfed by her beautiful coat. Slowly, he brings his hand to her back, running his hand through her fur, feeling her soft coat. Thadus softly growled at the contact of his mate's coat, not having ever seen it before, knowing she wasn't able to transition.

"Emerald," he says softly, running his hands through her fur more as he got accommodated to her changed form.

No response came from Emerald's wolf. He continued to say her name softly, internally begging for her to wake up. The pack remained behind him, giving them their space as he continued to repeat her name, hoping for her to wake up.

To no avail, Garret soon grows frustrated, Thadus slowly pacing inside of him. A quick thought comes to mind and acts upon it as soon as it came to mind.

"Lillian," he says softly.

Her eyes snap open to reveal her electric blue eyes.
