Khushi's pov

We reached the office and I bethe deeply.We walked out the door to see paparazzi . There were flashes and questions but our bodyguards shoved them off. We quickly reached the receptions.

All the employees were shocked to see me . Their jaws were hanging and their eyes were wide open.

" In the conference room now" Papa yelled in his cold , authoritative voice .

Everyone hurriedly went towards the room.

" Good morning. Everyone is aware of the health of my son. So from today we will have our new co CEO. And that will be his beloved wife and my daughter in law MRS Khushi Pravesh Singhania " he announced

I could hear the gasp around the room. Everyone was in shock. But then the murmuring started.

" I hope everyone is familiar with her and everyone will treat her with respect" he said continuing .

And them he gestured me.

" Good morning everyone. I know it's tragic that Pravesh is not here with me. But I will do my best to fill his space. I expect everyone to report into my office with the work they r doing. I will not tolerate any kind of excuses. U all have 30 min exactly . Have a good day . Dismissed " I said in a authoritative voice that none can defy.

" No " on of the staff members said

" And why's that " asked papa angrily .

" Because she isn't our boss. She doesn't even have any experience" saif another voice. And many nodded their head

I took the mic and said

" Well then. The exit is from that side. Those who want to cause rebellions can leave . And yeah don't forget to leave ur resignation letter. There are many unemployed youth here . So we can try to employ them" I said and looked towards papa who was smirking at me my words . He nodded

After this announcement everyone left the office . I slumped my shoulders

" I knew u could do it. Look at you. " PAPA said with a wide grin to which I just weakly nodded.

" Don't worry Beta. I will be there for u always " he said and patted my head.

I walked into his office to see my office attached to his.My office was beautiful and simple.

I waited for the first employee but even after 45 minutes no one came.

I walked out of my room to find everyone gossiping.

"Look she's here" said a girl glaring at. Me.

" Does she really think that we will accept her ?' saif another female

" How dare she order us " said another voice.

Even though I wanted to cry I didn't. I kept my face void of any expression.

" Who was the first one to come ?'i aksed

And saw a girl rasing her hand smugly .

" Come within 5 minutes" I said and turned back

" No I won't " she said challenging me.

I went directly into my office and did what I wanted to

" Oh u r here again" said the same girl

I smiled and put the letter into her hands .

She opened the letter and her eyes widened

" U can't do that " she said on the verges of tears

" Oh sweety I just did. According to the policy of company u are supposed to listen to the CEO. And if u don't then I can fire u with a penalty cause u all signed it " I said and smirked.

They didn't expect me to do this . But little did they know that I always read carefully. I knew that when I resigned but Pravesh didn't sued me.

Guess I love him😅

But now that they r giving me hard time I won't be forgiving them.

" No no don't do this . I will do what u will say" she said begging me.

" In my office in 10 minutes " I said and walked back.

The day went pretty much smooth. Everyone let me guide them . I was pretty tired .

I walked into the Porsche with papa.

" We will have the announcement in 3 days" he said and I nodded.

I went towards his room . I pecked his forehead . Took a long shower . Ate my dinner and slept.

Tomorrow will be another long day. I hope everything goes well or.........
