I was about to reach her but she turned and walked out of the office. I was going to follow her when my phone rang. I glanced at its screen and it was priyanshu calling. I was annoyed . I excused myself and picked it up..

"I know u found out why I was willing to help you by now "

" Yeah I know . Now get to the point " I snapped .

" See . She isn't the same khushi u net months ago. After that night she had lost all her confidence and adding her family disowned ger because they found out that she is pregnant....

It's not my place to tell you why she always keeps her guards up . I know that she will tell you one day.

Bout her confidence u can see where she is working . She thinks that she is not good enough for a big company . She is living in a shitty apartment. She is going through. Lot of mental stress but she won't tell you.

I didn't know what to say . I can't believe that a guy who was so angry with me is begging me to help his best friend. I don't know much about him but khushi is very lucky to have him. Even after her family disowned her He was always there for her . He never judged her. He is a true best friend .

Just I was about to come back to the office I hear some yelling .I went towards there ans saw a girl yelling at Khushi . I clenched my jaw and fisted my hands .

But what I saw there was completely understanabke what priyanshu was saying Khushi was looking at the floor not saying anything while the girl was yelling at her.

" What's going on here " I said through my gritted teeth .

" This dumb girl spiller hee coffee all over my clothes and is not even saying anything." The girl said.

I instantly recognized her she was the daughter of the owner of this firm and was dolled up like going on some fashion show .. spoiled brat..

"What is your name ?"

"Anjali" she said smiling to me.

" First of all Anjali you don't have any right to call her dumb . She isn't saying anything because she don't what any chaos.

And secondly you are here for work so I think you should go back to your work " I said in a cold tone

The girl was stunned by ny statement.

"But u don't even know her ." She said on the verge of crying.

" Well that's where you are wrong . I know her . She is the only reason I m here . Do u know who she is " I said raiding mg eyebrows.

And then I glanced at khushi . She had a faint smile in her lips. I smiled back . And then continued

She is an intren who has worked under me for about 7 months . She is more knowledgeable than any of you standing here. And I came here because your firm doesn't deserve a genius like her. So , if you want the deal apologize to her" I said

The girl and the whole staff was stunned by my words . Everyone was looking towards her. She was nervous. She stared looking at the floor again .

"Apologize now " said ger father knowing the consequences.

"I am sorry " anjali said and stomped her foot .

Everyone was still looking at her making her uncomfortable .

" Drama is over. Go back to your work " I yelled

"Children ?" I said confused

"Yeah they r twins " she said putting a hand on her belly .

I m going to have twins. I was ecstatic. But I know I can't take more than 1 step .

" Meet me after the office . We need to talk . Okay" I said smiling hiding my tears.

To which she only nodded .
