Arya's POV -

"Your mid-term exams are approaching in a little over a month. We'll be starting review in-"

Oh jeez, exams. A part of the year where I'm the most stressed.

I forgot that mid-terms existed, I guess I'm going to be studying a lot for the next month. Not that I don't study already.

My math professor continues to ramble on about what's to come and I should really be paying attention. But my mind has drifted off to somewhere else.

Someone else.

My love for him is so strong, I'm so scared to tell him. What if he doesn't love me back?

He probably doesn't even feel the same way as I do.

My anxiety keeps rising as the school day gets closer and closer to over.

Rome is going to drive us to the waterfall and that's where I'll tell him.

I don't want to ruin what we have, but my feelings just keep getting stronger with every passing day.

I can't ignore it anymore. He needs to know.

"That's all for today, see you tomorrow." My professor dismisses us right as the bell rings, and I sigh before gabbing my backpack.

Walking down the crowded halls, I check the time to see It's 1:05. One more class and then Rome will come to pick me up.

Clutching my phone tighter, I turn the corner and almost fly straight into Izzy.

"There you are! I've been looking everywhere for you." She exclaims and my eyes go wide.

"Why? You just saw me at lunch." I ask confused.

She waves her hand dismissively, "Yeah but I forgot to tell you then. I met this guy a few weeks ago while you were gone, he's pretty cute. But he hasn't shown up in a while."

I gesture for her to go on and she frowns, "It seems like every guy I talk to disappears. First Trevor and now this guy."

Giving her a small smile I start, "Who is he? What's his name?"

"His name is Oliver, he was super sweet to me."

I practically trip over myself and run into one of the lockers.

Oliver?

The same Oliver???

"O-Oliver?" I stutter, placing a hand on my forehead.

She nods with a smile, "Yeah! We got to know each other and we became good friends, but he hasn't texted me in a bit now." Looking towards her phone a look of longing takes over her features.

I'm left flabbergasted as I try to take deep breaths. He can't hurt you Arya. Rome has him.

Izzy sighs, "Everyone basically goes away after I talk to them. Not you though!" She ruffles my hair and I grumble under my breath, smacking her hand away.

"What did you guys talk about? Anything personal?" I question, but then the bell rings meaning I have a minute left to get to class on time.

"I'll tell you later, see ya!" She turns and starts speed-walking the other direction so she isn't late.

I do the same and quickly make it to my class right before the late bell rings. Groaning, I sit and place my hands in my face as I shake my head.

At least I know Oliver can't harm Izzy. James had said they caught him and who knows what Rome has done to him.

I don't even want to know what he's done. I just know It's nothing good.

My mind continues to race throughout the remaining time in class and before I know it the bell has rung.

Packing my things in my bag, I toss my backpack over my shoulder and take out my phone.

As I begin my walk towards the exit, I text Izzy frantically.

Me: So anyways, did you talk with Oliver about anything deep?

I rubbed my hands on my leggings since they were beginning to sweat from nerves.

Inwardly praying that she didn't tell him where she lives or invite him over, I jump when a notification pops up.

Izzy: Not really, we've only been talking for a few weeks.

A huge sigh of relief escapes me and the pressure in my chest goes away. I smile and quickly respond.

Me: Okay, well maybe he'll show up sometime or he's really busy. I'll see you tomorrow!

Cringing I pocket away my phone and bite my lip. I feel like I'm a horrible friend. I know I should tell her the truth, but I feel like It's easier this way.

But you know what a lot of people say, 'the truth always comes out.'

Shaking my head to get rid of those thoughts, the chilly November air hits me in the face once I exit the school doors.

Walking straight to the same spot, a big grin forms on my face when I see the black lamborghini parked to the side.

And of course, how could I miss the giant man leaning against it with his arms crossed?

Wrapping my jacket tighter around myself, I jog my way over to him.

His green eyes dance in amusement as he watches me, and right when I reach him I'm about to say hi, but I squeal when he picks me up by my waist, wrapping my legs around his strong torso.

His tattooed hands slide around my waist to keep me secure and my face automatically finds Its way into his neck, a sigh leaving my mouth.

We hug in silence for several seconds before his chest rumbles underneath me.

"How are you doing, sweetheart? Have a good day?" His masculine voice asks and I get a strong whiff of his cologne.

"It was really good." My response is slightly muffled by his neck and he chuckles, running a ringed hand through my hair.

"Do you still want to go to the waterfall? It's getting colder out." He says and I nod against him.

"Yes, we haven't been in forever. I really wanna go."

He hums and places me on my feet, opening the passenger door. I give him a sweet smile and sit down before he makes his way to the drivers side.

Soon we begin our journey and my eyes can't stay away from him. I love him so much.

My eyes gaze over all his pretty features. He seriously has no flaws.

I then look over the multiple silver piercings he has, and the delicate rings covering his fingers.

How did I get so lucky?

"You're staring darling." Rome chuckles, giving me a small smirk.

I blush and look down at my feet. "I-I was just,"

"You can stare all you want." He cuts me off. "I'm all yours."

"Does that me we're dating?" I give him wide eyes and he gives me another gorgeous smirk.

"We've been together for a while now baby."

I swoon over his answer and my cheeks only heat up more. I love him.

My nerves don't settle once we make it to the familiar park. The nerves just keep increasing rapidly.

Coming over to my side and opening the door for me, Rome interlaces our fingers as we begin walking towards the secret pathway.

Hand tightening in his, my eyes are bright and he leans down to kiss my forehead.

"Are you cold?" He gives me a curious glance and I shake my head. "I'm okay."

"You're sure?" Gesturing towards his big jacket I quickly shake my head again.

"I promise I'm okay."

"Did you eat the lunch I made you?" He asks as we reach the pathway.

"Yes," I nod, looking around at the plants surrounding us.

"Good girl." He softly smiles and butterflies erupt in my stomach.

I love him.

Eventually we make it to the end of the path and I squeal when I hear the water.

Running to the edge with Rome's pretty chuckles invading my ears, I look up at the huge waterfall that I've missed so much.

Rome's figure walks up to stand beside me, him too looking at the waterfall.

"I missed coming here." I say to him and his eyes meet mine.

Say it.

Say it Arya.

Tell him!

His gaze is soft and content looking down at me so I quickly wrap arms around him, squeezing tightly.

He looked shocked for a second before he quickly does the same, one hand running through my hair.

"Are you okay, hm?" He tries to meet my eyes but I stay squished in his chest.

"I-I have something to tell you." I mumble, resting my chin on his chest and looking up.

"What is it?" Brushing my hair from my eyes he gives me a cute little smile although I can see the questioning in his pupils.

My heart is pounding.

It feels like the world has stopped.

It's just us.

Opening my mouth, I blurt out what I've been wanting to say for days now.

"I love you."

Elijah's POV -

"You're a sick fuck, you know that?" I sneer, gripping his jaw in a crushing grip.

Oliver groans but doesn't respond. Well I guess It's kind of hard considering more of his teeth have been pulled out.

Sending another punch to his face, I hear a satisfying crack and more blood flows out of his nose.

Cracking my knuckles I quickly turn and head over to the table to pick out another item.

'You can put him on the verge of death, but don't kill him.'

Rome's words repeat in my head and I smirk, reaching for the sharp golden rings and slipping them on my fingers.

They're sharp enough to cut through thick skin. Sharp enough to draw blood that's for sure.

Turning to him I adjust the rings and walk tauntingly over to him.

"According to my Capo, I'm allowed to hurt you as much as possible as long as I don't kill you in the process." Rolling my eyes, I catch the terrified look on his face.

"But once I'm through with you, you're going to wish I fucking killed you."

Raising my fist and slamming it across his jaw, a scream escapes him as the rings cut him in multiple places.

I laugh, "And you still have my Capo to deal with. Let's hope you have some information good enough for a quick death."

James had his turn already, he thought it was a good idea to cut off some toes. Of course I liked it as well.

Oliver's screams were music to my ears. To all of our ears.

"You'll never see the light of day again, you hear me?" I growl, raising my fist again.

"And you'll never see Arya again."

Throwing my fist at his face once more, he goes unconscious for the second time.
