Arya's POV -

Black.

Black was all that surrounded me.

It felt like I wasn't even alive.

My eyes opened, and I was still surrounded by darkness.

My fingers traced over the cold concrete floor.

Where was I?

Squinting my eyes, I tried to adjust to the darkness around me.

My neck felt tender as the pad of my fingers traced over the area.

My eyes widening, everything coming back to me.

I got kidnapped!

By Oliver!

The events replayed in my mind, my heart pounding.

Suddenly the unlocking of a door was heard and my heart pounded even more if that was possible.

However my frightful expression turned into a glare at the figure in front of me.

Oliver walked in, a smirk set on his face with his hands tucked into his pockets.

He looked so calm and collected as my hands balled into fists by my side.

"How are you feeling?" He gestured towards my neck but I didn't respond.

Silence consumed the air before he chuckled menacingly. "I know you're probably confused, but all your questions will be answered, don't worry."

"What, by you?" I asked and the smirk that was previously on his face returned.

"No," He said, shifting the weight on his feet, "Not by me."

My hands began to shake as I continued to stare at him. I glanced around in the small cell I was in.

I scooted closer to the cold wall, my back aching slightly.

"W-Why would you do this? W-Who,"

"Do you remember who I am?" He asked and I furrowed my brows.

"I just remember running into you."

He shook his head, "No, way before..."

"Way before?" I repeated, trying to wrack my brain for the times I've seen him before.

"B-But I've never seen you be-"

"At that stupid café." He snarled, "That's when we first met."

My mouth opened slightly, and then a gasp escaped my mouth.

*Flashback*

I nodded and unzipped my wallet, looking through and grabbing a fiver dollar bill. I went to hand it to him, but he only shook his head. "Leave it on me, take it as a gift."

"A gift?" I replied shocked. "You don't need to do that sir..."

He waved me off, "Please, I insist. What kind of man would I be if I made the lady pay." He gave me another smile and my eyebrows rose.

...

"Here you go. By the way, I'm Oliver. What's yours?"

"Thank you, and I'm Arya. It's nice to meet you." I said, drinking my latte.

He smiled, "Are you waiting for anyone to show up? A pretty girl like you shouldn't be sitting all alone here. I can accompany you?"

Oliver studied the look on my face before giving me that smirk again, sending shivers straight through me.

"Ring a bell now?" He asks, already knowing the answer.

"B-B-But," I was at loss for words, I couldn't comprehend anything.

"You see, ever since that day Arya, I couldn't get you out of my mind. I just needed to have you." His gaze turned dark and I cringed.

"But why!" I yelled before continuing, "W-Who else are you working with?!"

"Oh, those are just some of the other men."

"Other men?"

"You know, the men that work for the Russian mafia."

At that moment everything stopped, but it also felt like the world was spinning.

Mafia?

Mafia??

Mafia???

"T-The what!?!" I screamed, pulling at my hair.

He laughed, finding my fear amusing. "The mafia sweet thing, the Russian mafia to be exact. But I'm not going to tell you everything, that's not my job. However,"

He moved closer to me and kneeled down next to me. I whimpered as he reached his hand out and ran his hand through my hair.

His gaze turned lustful and I wanted to vomit, "You're all mine afterwards."

He leaned back and stood up which made air come back to my lungs.

"W-Whose going to tell me what's happening if...if I-It's not you?" I questioned but I felt like I didn't want to know the answer.

The look he gave me only added to my anxiety.

He started to walk backwards towards the cell door, eyeing my body up and down before meeting my eyes once more.

"His name is Ivan Volkov."

James' POV -

I ran my hand down my face stressfully before ending the call.

No sight of her.

She's been gone for hours now, It's like she just disappeared.

We know Arya willingly left the house, but she hasn't returned which only means one thing.

And It's the one thing that the three of us have feared for a long time.

Elijah was currently hacking the security cameras around the area, he was going to see where she had went.

Hopefully it shows what happened to her as well.

I could see the pain in his eyes, one of the rarest emotions I've ever seen from him.

Rome however, well...I couldn't describe it.

He's a bunch of different emotions right now.

Anger.

Sadness.

Pain.

Anxiety.

Frustration.

The list could go on for miles, and I could tell he was getting worse by every passing second.

He had went to Arya's parents house to see if she was there, but to no avail.

He came back and just started trashing the place, along with throwing punches at walls.

He didn't even pay attention to the way his knuckles were gushing blood as he called Elijah and asked for any news. But got none.

Now I, after making a million unsuccessful calls of Arya's whereabouts, was drowning in whiskey and any other alcohol I could get my hands on.

I was on my fourth glass as I chugged it down the back of my throat, barely minding the burning sensation.

Arya had brought a light to all of our worlds, even Elijah's.

She was like a younger sister to me, and all I wanted to do was keep cracking jokes to make her laugh or roll her eyes.

My eyes stung slightly as I reached for my glass, then the whiskey to continue drinking away my misery before I got a phone call.

I dropped the glass, it smashed on the ground but I barely paid attention to it as I checked the caller.

Elijah.

Picking it up, I wasted no time in asking.

"Any news?"

There was a brief pause before his gruff voice answered, "Come to the office."

And then he hung up.

I stood up quickly, my balance wobbling slightly as I headed out of my office and towards Elijah's.

I wasn't surprised to see Rome there before me, his jaw clenched tightly that I thought it might break.

He barely glanced at me as I entered the room, but I noticed the way his eyes narrowed slightly at me.

"How much have you drank?" Elijah scoffs, turning to us from his chair.

"Too much." I mumbled, not even ashamed for admitting it.

Elijah gave me a blank stare before focusing more on Rome.

"I was able to hack the security system near one of the parks, about a 5 minute drive..." He starts off.

"There were 2 figures near the swings, a guy and a girl. I assumed it was Arya based on the small size of the girl."

I heard Rome's knuckles crack, and my eyes widened as I glanced towards his fist that was now clutched tightly together.

"The 2 had started walking after a little bit of time. And as their faces came under one of the light poles, it was indeed Arya with some boy that looked younger. Maybe a few years older then her."

Rome's body then tensed before I heard more cracking of his knuckles. I knew he was about to blow soon.

Elijah blew out a slight shaky breath before continuing, "Arya had then tried to back away from the boy, however another man approached, much bigger and older before he pierced her neck with a syringe, which then caused her to pass out."

Anxiety kicked through my veins, but I feel like this wasn't the worst news that Elijah had.

"I did..." Elijah licked his lips before finishing off with something that tore us all to pieces, "I was able to do a scan over the younger boy since the other wasn't clear, and I identified him as Oliver Volkov."

"He's...Ivan Volkov's son."

Arya's POV -

I was left alone in the cell for what seemed like ages.

I knew it had to be a few hours.

My stomach was grumbling from hunger.

My throat was becoming more dry each minute that passed from dehydration.

I hugged my hoodie closer to my body, trying to relish the warmth from it.

Huddling closer to the corner of the cell, I looked around to try and find anything that I could use to my advantage of getting out of here.

My hope died quickly after noticing there was absolutely nothing in here besides me.

A few lone tears fell down my cheeks as I waited and waited.

I had really hoped Rome had realized I was missing.

Rome...

I missed him so much. How could've I been so stupid?

Why would I think to walk around at night?

My mind was so clouded with anger I could barely think about my actions before I actually did them.

I just wanted to see him. To hug him. For him to hold me.

I wanted to kiss him again, to feel his perfect lips on mine.

I shivered as I was brought back out of my daydream of the gorgeous man.

Oliver's words kept creeping back into my mind.

'You know, the men that work for the Russian mafia.'

'Mafia'

What did I have to do with the mafia?

I didn't even know the mafia was around here.

But the...Russian mafia?

It only made me more confused as I pulled my knees to my chest.

My fear and anxiety kicked back in at the sound of the cell door unlocking for the second time.

There were footsteps that followed.

They were powerful steps.

Steps full of authority.

My eyes widened as a large man entered the small cell.

He was just about as large as Rome, with pale skin and two piercings above his eyebrow.

His eyes were almost pitch black, and I felt like they were digging straight into my soul as he stared at me in silence.

Those evil eyes then roamed up and down my small frame, making me clutch my hoodie even closer to my body.

The man closed the door behind him before taking a few slow, calculating steps towards me.

I bit my lip hard enough to draw blood as he stared down at me.

But then a smile formed onto his face, however it didn't have any warmth in it.

"Hello Arya Cadel, It's a pleasure to finally meet you."

My lip wobbled as I continued to gaze up at him, my body felt like It was going into shock.

"My name is Ivan, and we have a lot to discuss."
