Arya's POV -

"What do you remember from last night?"

I think about his question for a few moments as he stares at me intently, his brows furrowed slightly.

"Um, well I remember going there, and then seeing Trevor-" His body grew tense at Trevor's name.

"What else?" He asked.

"W-Well, something about fighting and then I said no fighting allowed, and then a few hours later Izzy and I were dancing..." I trailed off, scrunching my eyebrows to try and remember what else happened.

"Anything else?" He asked slowly making me shake my head,

"No I think that's it. What else happened?"

He sighed before grabbing my hands. Both of them held each of mine. "Baby," he trailed off, running his thumbs over them.

I felt my chest constrict in fear.

But then, my eyes widened.

I freeze, my chest constricting in fear.

'You don't have to do anything, but I know the clear signsss you've shown meee.' He slurs.

No.

'Trevor...h-how much have you drank?'

No.

"Arya?!"

'Trevor! Please get off, you're scaring me!'

'ROME!! I scream'

No.

"Arya! You're okay."

'He leans in again and begins to kiss my neck. He grips my waist hardly, making me whine.'

Trevor.

"Arya! Look at me!"

I gasp as big hands cup my face, I hadn't even realized I was crying as Rome wipes away my tears with his thumbs.

His eyes are filled with worry as he stares at me, "You're okay, he can't get to you I promise. I'm right here."

I cry out as tears continue to pour from my cheeks.

Suddenly I'm lifted by Rome and placed onto his lap so I'm straddling him.

My legs wrap around his waist like an instinct as his arms go around me.

He rubs my back up and down as he rocks us slightly,

"Shh my darling, he can't get to you. Non ti toccherà mai più."

(He'll never touch you again.)

I continue to cry silently, trying to calm myself down. His comforting touches helping me.

"I-I'm sorry." I say though my cries.

"Don't say that, nothing is your fault you hear me? Nothing."

My head begins to pound from my crying, and I feel myself getting lightheaded.

Rome gently gets up and carries me to the side of the bed.

He pushes the messed up covers back and gets under them, holding me against his chest as I continue to shake.

"Una volta che ti addormenterai, gli porterò via ogni brutto ricordo." He mutters as he tightens his hold.

(Once you fall asleep, I'm going to take away every bad memory of him.)

My crying slowly starts to fade, and I'm left sniffling in his arms.

His hand comes up to thread through my brown curls, and I sniffle again.

"Go to sleep sweetheart." He says tenderly and I can only nod softly, inhaling his masculine scent.

It only takes about 5 minutes before I'm completely passed out in his arms.

Rome's POV -

I'm going to fucking kill him.

I check over Arya once more after managing to get out of her arms no matter how badly I wanted to stay.

Because once she wakes up she'll need me by her side, and I'll be right there.

After reassuring myself she's fine in my bed, I turn with my jaw clenched.

I grab my phone and quickly ring James.

"Capo."

(Boss.)

"Guarda su Arya. Se si sveglia chiamami subito." I say gruffly,

(Watch over Arya. If she wakes up call me immediately.)

There's a small pause on the other line.

"Hai intenzione di ucciderlo?"

(Are you going to kill him?)

Oh how badly I want to. I want to watch him beg.

I want to watch him cry.

My only problem was Arya.

If she finds out, she'll definitely be suspicious. It only makes it worse that her friend Izzy is "dating" that piece of trash.

I grit my teeth in anger, unsure of what the right move is.

"Non lo so, ma di certo lo spaventerò."

(I don't know, but I'm certainly going to scare him.)

I end the call and am met with a notification from Elijah.

I open it which gives me the current location of Trevor.

Elijah has to be one of the smartest men apart of the mafia.

He can hack any computer, get into any system.

Find anyones location.

And that's exactly what I needed today.

When I had asked for it, he didn't say a word and only gave me what I needed.

I don't know how Elijah will react to meeting Arya.

James' reaction was expected, he had actually been excited to meet her.

But Elijah was a different story. He was mostly closed off even though he was another one of my closest friends.

However, I could worry about that shit later. Right now I had a little boy to scare.

And I was going to fucking love it.

Arya's POV -

When I had woken up for the 2nd time in Rome's room, I had actually remembered everything that happened.

I was disappointed to see that Rome wasn't by my side in the covers anymore, and I sighed.

My head still hurt slightly from crying, and I needed advil desperately.

Maybe James was somewhere around the house and he could help me.

I got off the bed and headed for the door. At least I knew where to go this time.

It was quiet yet again in the house, and I didn't hear any voices as I made my way to the kitchen.

I was feeling major Deja vu.

Entering the kitchen, I was surprised to see someone new.

He was huge, just like James and Rome, leaning against the kitchen island on his phone with a dark look on his face.

His eyes were a dark silver, and he had a scar that went down the left side of his face.

The unknown man's hair was a dark brown, almost a black but you could still tell it was brown.

He looked incredibly terrifying, almost as scary as Rome seemed the first time I met him.

I nibbled on my finger as I frantically looked around the kitchen, hoping to see James, but there was no sign of him.

If I wanted help, I was going to have to ask this man.

"Um, excuse me?" I squeaked and his silver eyes snapped up to meet mine.

They were so dark. So scary looking. They narrowed at me and his jaw clenched.

He didn't say anything so I continued, "Do-Do you know where James is?" I said softly, desperate to get away from him and the uneasy feeling I had.

His hard eyes bored into mine for a second longer before he pulled out his phone and typed something.

Raising the phone to his ear, he watched me in silence as he began to speak on the phone.

I played with my fingers nervously as I stood like a weirdo in the middle of the doorway.

He began speaking in Italian which made me even more confused.

Finally, after a minute of talking, he ended the call and walked towards me.

My breathing picked up, my heart feeling like it was about to be ripped out of my chest as he got closer.

Was he going to hurt me?

He was going to hurt me.

And before I could say anything or scream for help, he brushed passed me, not saying a single word.

I watched in shock, turning to see him going up the stairs, and then the slamming of a door a few seconds later making me flinch.

I stood in stunned silence, trying to wrap my head around what just happened.

He seemed so angry.

"Princess?" I heard which made me look towards the source of the voice.

James.

I would have smiled brightly if I wasn't so stunned from the events a second ago.

"W-W-Who..." I stuttered, pointing to the stairs making James sigh.

"That's Elijah, don't worry about him. He's always in a bad mood."

Elijah.

"H-He seemed mad at me." I mumbled making James immediately shake his head.

"Trust me, he's not." He bends down to my level before smiling softly at me,

"Elijah's always been a big grump." He says making me let out a giggle.

"If you say so." I shrug making him nod and stand to his full height.

"Rome's on his way back now. He had to go deal with some...business for a while. He wanted to stay with you, but it was important."

I smiled and nodded, excited to see him, but then I thought about something.

"My phone...oh no! Mama!" I yelled before running to the stairs.

"Huh?" I heard from James but I only ignored him even though I felt a tinge feeling of guilt.

I raced up the stairs like a marathon runner and reached Rome's room.

My eyes darted around the room, and I found my phone sitting on a desk, plugged in.

I mentally made a note to thank Rome for that, and I quickly darted to it.

As I pressed on the screen, my thoughts were indeed correct.

10 missed calls from Mama

4 missed calls from Izzy

2 missed calls from Papa

However I was only focused on one person and one person only.

10 missed calls

Mama...
