《The Mafia Man's Girl》Chapter 10: Innocent

Arya's POV -
"Well!" Izzy says, rubbing her hands together, "Arya's right ya'll, no fights! Only drinking!" She says, grabbing her plastic cup of something.
She takes a big gulp of it before smiling and putting it down.
"Arya, since you've never drank before, I'll get you something light. Come on Trevor." She gestures towards the cooler.
Trevor eyes me once more before smirking and turning the other way to follow Izzy.
I feel Rome tense up slightly, definitely catching his odd act.
"Why does he always do that?" I whisper to myself, not expecting the man beside me to hear me. But it doesn't surprise me that he does.
"Do what?" He says, turning to face me.
"He..." I try to think of how to put it. "He always seems to be looking at me. Or smirking, I don't know why..." I whisper to him, watching as his eyes turn dark and glaring towards the said man at the cooler.
"If he tries anything, come to me, okay? Lo ucciderò io stesso, cazzo, se necessario."
(I'll fucking kill him myself if I have to.)
"Hm?" I tilt my head, "I don't know Italian, you know that!" I yell making him chuckle.
"I know darling, it just makes it so much more fun. Non vorrei che tu conoscessi i pensieri nella mia testa su quel ragazzino."
(Wouldn't want you to know the thoughts in my head about that little boy.)
I pout and huff, but say nothing as Izzy and Trevor return, a bottle of something in her hand.
"Here, try this." She hands me it, and I look at it nervously.
I have no idea what this is.
"Alright, party time! Come on!" Izzy drags Trevor out the doorway and to the dance floor.

I watch them leave and then glance back at the can in my hand.
I'm about to try and open it before it gets snatched out of my hand. My eyes widen and I look up at Rome.
"Have you ever drank alcohol before?" He asks, raising a thick brow. My cheeks flush.
"N-No," I murmur and he hums.
I watch as he turns the can over, most likely reading the labels.
"It doesn't have much in it, but if you're going to have it, I don't want you having anymore after. Especially if you've never even had alcohol." He says, giving the can back to me.
I look at it once more, and then the top where it has to be popped open to drink it.
"Err, no!" I exclaim, throwing it on the floor.
Rome stares down at me in amusement.
"I don't want it. Alcohol is bad!" I say, making Rome nod.
"I knew you wouldn't."
"What?!"
He chuckles, "I knew you wouldn't." He repeats making me pout.
"But how?"
"Call it a sixth sense."
He doesn't say anything else, so I simply shrug it off.
We finally make our way out of the kitchen, and into the crowd of people.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A few hours later, I'm dancing with Izzy to the music, hundreds surrounding us dancing as well.
I look towards one of the walls to see Rome leaning against it, big arms crossed, his eyes on me and me only.
I smile at him which he returns with a smirk.
"AHH! I love this song!" Izzy yells making me laugh.
We dance some more to the music before I have the sudden urge to use the bathroom.
The only thing I've drank tonight is water, when Izzy over here has definitely had none of that.

I stop dancing and watch as she goes crazy, her arms waving around and her head high in the air.
I giggle at her slightly before yelling, "I need the bathroom!"
She doesn't respond so I simply turn and start walking.
Before I go another step, Izzy yells "Where you going girl?"
Didn't I just say...
"Bathroom! Need to pee badly!" I reply and her mouth turns into an 'O' before nodding.
I laugh at her and turn in search of the bathrooms.
I decide to go to the bathrooms upstairs since there was a huge line for the ones downstairs.
It's quiet up here, mostly everyone in downstairs since the house is so huge.
I search the halls that are dimly lit up.
I finally find a bathroom and go in to do my business, sighing in relief when I'm done.
I finish washing and drying my hands before looking in the mirror.
My hair's a bit crazy, but that's nothing new.
I turn and head out the door, trying to locate the stairs to go back down.
Before I can even blink, I'm pressed against a wall, a hard body shoving into mine.
I'm about to scream but a hand covers my mouth.
My widened eyes look up and I see the one and only Trevor.
"Shh," he says, slowly bringing his hand down from my mouth.
I gasp for breath, "What are you doing here?" I say making him laugh.
"This is my house, is it not?" he cocks a brow.
"Y-Yes it is, but I mean here, with me?" I say trying to squirm away, but he grips onto my shoulder, hard.
"Because you've been tempting me all night, baby."
I freeze, my chest constricting in fear.
"T-Tempting you? But I haven't done anything."
"You don't have to do anything, but I know the clear signsss you've shown meee." He slurs.
"Trevor...h-how much have you drank?" I ask making him scoff and press harder into me.
I cringe.
"Enough to know to make a move on you."
He begins to lean in and I turn my head.
"Trevor! Please get off, you're scaring me!"
He's scaring me.
He's hurting me.
"You're fine, now come here."
He leans in again and begins to kiss my neck. He grips my waist hardly, making me whine.
"Please get off! Help! Someone!"
"Shut up!" He hisses,
"ROME!!" I scream, only for my mouth to get covered.
"I said shut up, bitch!"
He leans down and aims for my neck again, only for him to be pulled backwards as I slump to the floor.
Tears flow out of my eyes as I hear a grunt of pain, followed by yelling.
I hug my knees to my chest and rock slightly.
He touched me.
He touched me.
He touched me.
That's all that goes by in my head.
My head is spinning.
Mind is swirling.
I can't stop it from pounding.
And I can't stop the feeling of my eyes closing.
From my chest constricting.
I feel my head bob, and before it hits the floor, arms wrap around mine.
Comforting.
Warm.
Soft.
And then, I pass out.

Death's Daughter | Supernatural, D.W.
My life is normal, or at least relative to it. Really, how normal does life get, being the offspring of the most murderous of beings, the undertaker himself? Being Death's daughter isn't easy. Existence itself is a trying subject; even more trivial when it's based around taking the lives of (mostly) innocent people. The word mostly is an asterisk for people like Sam and Dean Winchester. My father informed me of them at a young age after a reaping that had obviously gone sideways. "If you have the chance," he instructed me, "drag those obnoxious cock roaches down to Hell, and leave them there."Then, one day, two flannel-clad idiots and their angel on a leash wander into my jurisdiction of the veil. My life has never been the same; my life has never been the preconceived notion of 'normal' that it once was.Disclaimer: I do not own any characters or plot lines from Supernatural.
