Hey everyone! As you know, I'm a big fan of love. All kinds of love. And I love writing cute scenes between my characters. That's why I'm incredibly excited to announce that I've been commissioned by JCPenney to write this entry for the contest. At my school, promposals weren't in until after I graduated. I was always so jealous that I never got to experience one. However, that's why writing is great. Now I will get to experience one- with you guys! For more details about the contest, head over to the profile! There's some seriously awesome prizes.

Let's see how our adorable Bennett would ask Henley to prom.

"So, has Bennett asked you to prom yet?"

"No. We might not go."

Ariana frowned. "Sebastian told me Bennett already bought tickets though."

I raised an eyebrow. "He did?"

She grimaced. "Wow, I spoiled that."

"It's okay. I heard there was a baked potato bar, so I'm cool with going. But I'm worried he'll show up to my door in a helicopter or something."

"I'd say a private jet."

The thought gave me shivers. "Don't give him any ideas."

"I already gave him the best one."

"Should I be worried?"

Not even five minutes later, a nervous-looking student popped his head into the classroom, a box in his hands. "Delivery for Henley."

I immediately shot Ariana a look. She grinned at me. The teacher allowed the student in and he handed me a box. I opened it to find a potato.

A potato.

Ariana burst out laughing and I inspected the potato. Will you go to prom with me? was carved into the skin. A little note from Send a Spud made me realize Bennett had paid for this. "This was your great idea?"

"I can't believe he actually did it. Looks like you're going to prom! You need a dress, right? We're so going dress shopping today."

After texting my poor, gullible boyfriend a yes! and being told I was supposed to send a potato back (which caused Ariana to dissolve into a fit of giggles), Ariana and I headed to the mall.

Unsurprisingly, it took no time for Ariana to find me the perfect outfit at JCPenney — a beautiful , and at a reasonable price. She had a natural knack for fashion.

"We'll text the color to Bennett so he can get a matching tie," she said.

Matching with him? I'd forgotten about that. Now I was getting a little excited. I was a sucker for cute matching outfits.

Prom arrived quickly and Bennett, fortunately, didn't show up in a private jet. Just a limo. Ariana basically hurled herself into it.

"I read limos were tradition," Bennett said as I climbed in. "You look stunning."

"You, too." Bennett looked just as striking as usual. His Tuxedo looked made for him.

"I think you mean spudding," Sebastian interjected from beside him.

Bennett narrowed his eyes at Ariana. "You said sending potatoes was in!"

"You believed me!"

"It's okay, Bennett," I said, grinning. "My love for you sprouts more and more every day."

He groaned.

As soon as we arrived at the venue, Ariana forced Bennett and me to take a picture in front of the baked potato bar. It was decided the potato promposal had to go down in history. The whole school knew of it. So, I wasn't that surprised that we were the most a-peeling candidates for prom king and queen.

Bennett's cheeks were still red as we danced in front of the crowd.

"I'm glad we went to prom," I told him.

His embarrassed expression morphed into a content one. "Me too."
