《The Melancholy Of Yamamoto Yuuto》Chapter 64-The man who doesn't know the meaning of impossible

I responded saying
“That's exactly it, my brain and spinal cord were in the danger of being crushed and-”
“WHAT! How in the world did you get into a situation like that?!“
“Well that's-”
”Did you go on such a dangerous mission!?“
“No I-”
”No, that can't be possible!“
She's not going to let me speak is she? I'll just wait until she finishes her rambling
”You getting critically injured during a mission has never happened before and will never happen due to your overwhelming skills. The higher ups would even call you the ‘The man who doesn't know the meaning of impossible’ since you could finish ‘jobs’ that are normally impossible for even multiple elite squadron, as if it was a piece of cake. They would even say the mission was already accomplished, the moment they hand it to you. That's how good you are. So you getting into a life or death situation is just highly unlikely“
Another new nickname?….You have got to be kidding me
Just how many different names are they going to call me until they're satisfied? And what's up with all that trust in me?
Just because I've never failed a single ‘job’, doesn't mean I will always succeed in the future. Even I have a 1 out of 1000000 chance of failing a job. And I'm not just saying some random numbers. I've already calculated in all the factors affecting the success rate of a mission for me 2 years back and eventually came up with this number
That one out of one millionth chance can even happen on my next mission. So their thought that I can never fail is wrong
But it's also theoretically correct but practically wrong since I can't possibly go on a million missions. That would take several lifetimes

So basically what the higher up are telling about me is correct but it ticks me off when they are talking about me like that
Although I call them my higher ups, that's in name and rank only. I'll give a little ‘warning’ next time I meet them so that they know where they are placed in the hierarchy
”And even if you did get into such a situation, that mask you always wear when you go on missions, would protect you from injuries to the head and neck. Even heavy round bullets can't penetrate that mask of yours. So you getting a head injury is impossible!“
Well it is made up of a special alloy that I made by myself, which is harder than titanium and lighter than aluminum. So of course bullets aren't going to be able to penetrate it
It can even stand a crushing force of 50 tons and there won't even be a single dent or scratch on it. It's also fire proof and has electricity resistance, so it's basically the ultimate protection armor
I could have made a full set for my whole body but didn't, since I didn't really need it. I only need to protect my head since if I get injured anywhere else, my body would repair itself so there's really no need for body armor
”Wait! Your GPS location yesterday shows that you never left the city. Then that means you weren't doing a mission at that time!”
God, these tracking chips are annoying!
