Kyoya opened his lips, and inaudible sounds came out. The naked mother and child have stopped trembling, though they dared not to stand up. Turning his head away, Kyoya handed them two sets of clothes he found. The mother clumsily put it on, but her child refused to:
“Kaa-chan… It… It reeks of them!”
“Eh?... But… this is all we have. Ai-chan, please try and bear with it… Just… Just a little more… We`re going home after this…” Tears filled her eyes, yet she swallowed the pain and smiled to her daughter.
“Yada! I don`t want to! These trunks are bad enough… If I wear this… I… I`ll never get rid of their smell! It`s right under my nose! Mommy!” The girl burst into tears.
Kyoya heard the conversation. Still letting his back face them, he took off his bloody jersey. Underneath was a plain shirt. A scar ran on almost half the length of his spine. On his left shoulder blade, a tattoo signaled that he was a yakuza. It was a red coup d`etat fist pointing downwards.
Kyoya turned around, the loosely hanging jacket covered part of his eight-packed abdomen.
“H… Here… It… It`s sweaty… But s-smaller… Maybe fits you better?” His voice squeaked, his head still looking away.
The girl, being as wary as Kyoya, received it. She put it on, and ran back into her mother`s lap.
“…Anou… And these…” he opened the cases, showing them stacks of money… “Please d-don`t get the p-police involved…” He paused to reach inside his pockets “Along with this money, the s-sum is roughly 5-5 million… Please accept this, even though i-it`s little…”
The mother was shocked, and doubtful:
“I`m very sorry but I can`t take something like that… Thank you for saving us, b-but please leave us out of your business… W-we don`t want to… be a hindrance…”

“I-Ie! That`s not what I mean! Eh-Etou… I work for the yakuza… But this, this much is… I will p-personally give it to you! No interest! Y-You won`t have to ever meet me again!”
This sounded too good to be true to them, and Kyoya panicked:
“Onegai!” He knelt down “My boss would suspect this if I take too long! Please take it!”
“No, please stand up!… W-we really…”
Kyoya`s shoulders twitched, as sobs came out from behind the mask:
“This… This… With this money, maybe you and your family can… have a better life… I… I have no need for this money… I have no greed… So… Please take it! And maybe… God will see my actions *sobs* God will see that I have a pure heart and… and…so…so” Kyoya burst into tears “Please god! I plead to you! Don`t let another human being fall into such situation! I will give everything I have right now to these two! So I beg you! Please make this be the last time… The last time… I will see anything like this…” His words ended with strangled tears.
The two was shocked. Yet the mother realized, right then, what was before her wasn`t a dreadful murderer, but someone that needed protection. She didn`t really understand why, but her human instincts told her that this man is even weaker than her. Slowly, with gratitude and affection, she reached and held him, close to her heart.
“Thank you… We will forever remember this.”
At RedFist headquarters.
“Moshi moshi? Kyoya-kun? What took you so long to report to us? What? You killed them? Ok… Very messy… Right. I`ll send a “cleaning” team to the scene… Oh don`t worry about the police, we have connections…” Celestyna casually talked.
The call ended, and she looked at Boris.

“He eliminated them?” A low Russian voice spoke
“Yes, unexpected but excellent results. I know the way that gang treats its “customers” will have the kid enraged, but for him to even kill them, and in a rather gruesome way…”
“Now you know what makes him tick… Search for more mission… and maybe tell him to learn this.” He pointed at the fancy compound crossbow lying on his shelf.
“Certainly… This thing is legal, right? Makes the job more silent, in both meanings.”
An ambulance pulled over right at the rundown apartment block. Kyoya was already there, but his eyes stuck to the bloody scene. Five or six got off the car, and a cheery voice called out:
“Yahoo! Champion! You really got rid of them deshou ka?”
(Fuyuko-san?!) Kyoya almost said it out loud.
Fuyuko Akemi, the ring lady in the underground arena, and the bartender at the night club, was running towards the splattered gore without a care in the world.
“Eh… You performed autopsy right on the scene… So cool~” She turned and smiled at him, but her lips froze the moment Kyoya looked back at her.
“…”
After a long pause, Fuyuko scratched her head, embarrassed:
“Ah… Well…”
“…”
“Champion-san`s face! Looks really scary desu! Your long hair is smeared all over the mask! And also what you did here… this… ah! You`re just like Sadako-san! But black! KuroSadako! Sounds cool!”
“Well yea, if the ghost enjoyed tearing its victims open when they are paralyzed in fear. Did these guy really struggle that much? I mean, their guts and all are hanging loose.” The oldest of them spoke.
“…”
*Sigh* “Well are there any corpses still intact?”
Kyoya pointed to the basement.
“Gotta salvage their organs… Sells for a good price on the black market.”
The crew proceeded as planned, and Kyoya was handed a change of clothes. His current outfit was given to them to be disposed of.
“Hurry up and clean urself lad, you look like one of those grudges from horror movies. Sendin chills down ma spine. And I`m a surgeon.” The doctor said, after gutting the two corpses clean.
Kyoya shook, and signaled them to go without him.
“You don`t want a ride to HQ? Suit yourself, but remember to report back to Celestyna in person. Shoujo, what`re the spoils?”
“About 200kg of good quality crystal, and some dozens of syringes, still in their packaging. No papers though.”
“No cash?” The doctor batted an eye at Kyoya.
“Hai~”
“We`re leaving.” He said, abruptly.
At a random bench on the desolate streets near Kyoya`s old home, a mother and child was waiting for somebody.
A young boy, who seemed no older than 14, approached them.
The night`s shade couldn`t hide their surprised faces upon seeing Kyoya. They stood up and followed.
“You needn`t have to worry about us like this… We can`t keep bothering you…”
“It`s not safe around here. And you`re carrying a lot of money too. P-Please don`t mind.”
On the train, Kyoya sat opposite them, looking outside the window. The family next to him has been whispering to eachother non-stop.
“Anou… Onii-san…”
The small girl pulled his sleeves.
“Your shirt… doesn`t smell bad at all… It smells good… And-And your face is so pretty, Onii-san.”
Both of them blushed and looked away. The girl spoke, almost inaudible:
“Onii-san is a good person… C-Can I meet you again?”
“It`s… Best if you never do…”
The darkness outside was only getting thicker.
