《A generic love story: disturbance》Chapter 33

In a cramped corner, two small figures stood next to another tall person. Eirin was busy taking notes on her handbook, while Kyoya held still, showing no emotions. The usual click was heard, and the group of three entered the school roof. Without saying anything, they took out their bento. Eirin finished early, and she went ahead to “deal with some business”.
Takumi waited for the sound of footstep to completely fade, after which he slowly spoke:
“Anou… Kyoya… There`s something you need to see…”
“Huh?”
Takumi took out his phone, tapped on it a few times, and, with a serious face, handed it to Kyoya. The video was from a pornography site, showing a group of male highschool students having sex with one school girl. The girl`s face was shockingly familiar. After a few excruciating minutes, the video ended with the scene of money being thrown on the girl, drenched in white slime.
The small student became even quieter. Under his long fringe, madness flashed through his eyes. But Sougo Kyoya had to resign himself to reality, as nothing could be done to change the past.
“My mom was a prostitute just a few years ago. It was a really hard time, and that was the only way to pay my tuition fees. I`m grateful, but I would never ever want to see her doing something like that for me again. Ever.”
“Well I can`t say that I understand, but at least to some extent. I lost my dad too.”
“No, I don`t have a father. I never had. There is no human on earth that you can possibly call my dad.” Kyoya spoke without pause.
“Eh?”
Kyoya sighed, and as sadness took over the atmosphere, Takumi heard a brief story about his friend`s past. At the age of 11, his mother was raped on the street. For 9 months she stayed silent. And then, like in medieval times, her premature body gave a savage birth to a possibly crooked child. That was probably the main reason why Kyoya looked so much younger than his age, while his fine skin and adorable face was probably inherited from Kura herself.

After this, Kyoya asked to be alone, and Takumi wandered downstairs. Randomly, he bumped into Shiraishi, the student council`s president. After a few words, they went somewhere together.
The clock on the wall slowly ticked away, as the flow of time merged with that of wind. That certain noon was unbearably hot, and the usual playful gusts were burned to death. Humans hid in their air-conditioned homes, keeping out from the streets, on where the cruel sun beamed down. Yet, the wind gods noticed its unruly feats, and that evening they crashed in with an army. Having not only their soldiers, they also called for the assistance of thunder and clouds.
The sizzling sound of heat was cleaved in half by a flash of lightning, as temperature rapidly decreased. The clouds surrounded the sun, shrouding its vision. The sun staggered, before getting knocked off its feet. Just that moment, the great behemoth that has been waiting under the horizon opened the gigantic mouth, readying to swallow the sun whole. As a killing blow, the knights of rain galloped across the city. Their horses trampled on any remnants of the sun, roaming side by side with the thunder and the wind.
Humans have started to make their way out from their safe havens. Using simple equipments like the umbrella or raincoat, they ignored the mighty hoofs grazing above their head; the ones of war horses that stampeded over the sun`s army.
Takumi was walking next to Kyoya, under an umbrella. Kyoya was wearing a hoodie jacket; with both hands inside the belly pouch. They were following two attractive females, to an address which the girls found.
Inside the mediocre apartment block, the four searched around. It was not hard to find, as there was a commotion inside that room. Pressing her ear against the door, Kirishima put on a terrifying grin.

“Wait! No! Let me go!”
“C`mon babe, you even took us in here. Why don`t you be like your cute friend and stay still?”
“She is drunk! I only asked to help me bring her back here, not… Argh! Get off me!”
“How lucky, we have a reason to break in already.” Takumi smirked.
Kirishima knocked on the door:
“Hey, how is everything in there? Open up [FBI here!] or I`ll call the police!”
The men inside rustled, and one came out. The annoyed look on his face instantly turned into a vulgar stare when he saw Kirishima:
“Don`t disturb us, lil girl. Unless you want to join, hehe. How about that? Come in with me and we`ll let your friends off this time.”
A hand reached for Kirishima. Her battle spirit was suddenly stamped out, as she felt the intense pressure building up from that direction. Sougo Kyoya pulled on her sweater`s sleeve, signalling her to let him handle this. Silently, Kyoya stepped forward.
“Excuse me.” He briefly said.
Everybody swallowed, even the young bastard. Without another word, Kyoya`s right hand crept up on the side of that guy`s head.
“Huh?”
Kyoya`s thumb jabbed inside his ear, his fingers simultaneously pushed against the back of the thug`s head. With his left hand still inside the pouch, Kyoya`s core jolted sideways.
*Bam*
Fresh blood stained the cracked wall, and the guy collapsed on his feet. Red liquid surged out from his nostril as the guy`s nape slammed on the ground with another painful knock.
That gruesome scene alerted the remaining two, and they came out. Kyoya quickly noticed a glint of metallic color on their back. His sharp eyes stuck on the knives, and the thugs hesitated. Kyoya backed away, while pulling the other hand out. Suddenly, his elbow touched something soft.
“Eh… Sorry!” Kyoya blushed at Kirishima. The intimidation he had on his opponents disappeared.
“Oraa!”
The two charged in, making Kyoya tumble down on his back, forcing the group to scatter away from the door.
